The worker slightly rude and did what she wanted didn’t listen
DONYEH WI faced issue when I was collecting the truck through the phone/online. This is my first time using the U-Hal and I explained them about this. When I went to collect the truck, they asked me to provide the assurance, I gave my wife contact phone number but they system says this new number is already used for the reservation booking and they need different number, I never gave my wife's phone to book this reservation but the online representative is keep on sending error message and this wasted my 2 hours of collecting the vehicle. I called customer support even they are surprised in getting this error message when I am giving my wife's contact number for assurance and system says this phone number is already used for the reservation booking, which is totally a big mistake. U -Hal should refund my money as this error happened because of their system error

Kasey MMy problem wasn't with this location. My issue is with the U-Haul experience in general. I made my reservation on 4/29 well in advance of when I needed the truck on 5/11. I went to the pick up location that I reserved (u haul of deptford) only to be told that they did not have the truck and my pick up location changed. No one from U haul contacted me about this change. When I arrived at the new location in Woodbury, the truck was there but all of the supplies I reserved and needed for my move, were not. Then, upon returning the truck, my return location was also changed without my knowledge. I received a last minute text and email from U Haul telling me that I agreed to return the truck to Burlington U haul. I never agreed to this and was never contacted by U haul to discuss a different return location. I returned the truck on time to Columbia Moving and Storage in Bordentown NJ as I agreed to do when I made the reservation on 4/29 and again confirmed when I picked up the truck. U haul makes an already stressful experience of moving even more stressful and chaotic with last minute changes, missing supplies and absolutely no communication. Awful experience.

Harold cThe only thing was I didn't know if I had to do anything with my drop off. It only asked me what time I would be dropping it off so I don't know if I was supposed to anything else. I Left the key in the drop box and made sure it was locked up. I also put gas in so it was the same as when I got it.

Carmen SInventory to ensure or not if straps are in the truck. In my case, I didn't request them but the paperwork at the end speak as if they were inside the truck but was not, When I turned in the truck I told the Rep to note No straps were ever there A great experience Ez Pezy

Richard KSo, 39,95 plus 0,99 per mile i went 8 miles total and my total bill was 85 i didnt need a 7 dolly but somehow it got in there. The contract process on line is information overload where a mis click ends up with things not needed like dollys or blankets or something else. Taxes and additional fees like safe drive fee etc etc bla bla bla! Really kinda a rip off when someone thinks they're getting a truck for X and it turns out to be Y .. The old bait and switch is what's really goin on here..!

Clinton BThe location was great. However, I received a call from UHAUL asking why I had not returned the vehicle. I explained that I had returned it after only using it for 2 hours (the return being shortly after the closing of the location for the Memorial day weekend). The Uhaul rep then said, 'well, ok, I'll check with the location'. This was surprising as I feel this should have been done first.

Deborah TThe directions in the app were clear and everything was easy to navigate to get the truck. My only advice would be to warn customers to arrive 15 minutes before pickup to do all the steps in the app. I was warned there were several steps, but didn't realize how long it would take.

Joshua GNo problems I had to contact your office. The app was telling me that I was too far away to self check out however I was parked next to the truck. Wasted 45 minutes of my time in the 3° weather. Representative offered to have me pick up a truck elsewhere I would credit me a dollar per mile if I did so. However I did not feel that that would be fair to Columbia being it was not their fault it was the companies app. I would however like to see an adjustment made on the mileage chargeFor the problem that I had.
gary rReview your procedures and make the process easier for the customer. The verification process is terrible. Actual photo, drivers license front and back, and credit card not enough?! You need third party verification! Work id !? Copy of the contract that you don't get! Lmao! Ridiculous. I know now to just go to Lowes and Home Depot! Cheaper and less hassle!

Katherine MThere were hidden fees and I was charged $12 for less than a gallon of gas. The rental should have been around $100 total and I was charge $147. That is not OK. I won't be using uhaul again.
