Staff at location were very helpful but the location has limited hours so we were directed to use the uhaul app to pick up the truck. The app is terrible, and every uhaul personnel member on the sites and via chat agree with that assessment. It is user unfriendly, poorly designed, and we will never use it again. Chat could be improved as well, because the chat person is stuck trying to help you make the app work. what a waste of their time and mine

We got the truck and the gas tank was only on half. They could clearly see that we only took it 10 miles in just a few hours. We then got charged for the full tank refill.

They don't seem to have much inventory, but the trailer I rented was newer and in much better conditions than the ones at the bigger location.

The store we had to pick up and drop truck off were rude. I was told nothing would be charged until truck was returned instead I was charged $87.00 at time of pick up and was charged another $130.00. None of this was told to me at any time

Make sure the equipment has been made road ready!! The truck had a major exhaust leak to the point that he cabin filled with exhaust and had to have windows open the whole way even to the point that I became dizzy!!! Also, had to add oil to the engine along with extreme vibration!! Not fun on a 1040 mile trip!!!

Never would I ever use them again ever! Was the worst experience ever! I ordered my truck & they said it would be ready by 9pm & they would call me with in an hour to tell me where to pick up my truck! I drove 2 hours & 25mins to where we was going to! Mind you I'm 8months pregnant with a my 8 year old child with me! We get there & the place is closed call 1800 for help & get transferred over & over spent 3 hours on the phone! Had to drive 40mins out of our way to pick up a different truck! That truck was not in the best of places bunch of crack heads walking around a few ask if they could help me! I was so scared that I was crying on the phone asking them to please hurry! I talked to a rep that was so kind her name was Nancy & one other that tryd her best but could not do anything & had to transfer me! Many reps hung up on me others told me I'm screwed tell 7am! Worse feeling was being stuck somewhere with no where to go, & scared because I was lied to!

I filled the truck with fuel before returning it... they charged me $8.08 for fuel when it was full. I have a receipt from the gas station... and.. the truck wasn't completely full when I picked it up...

I have been charged 3 separate time for this rental. I have called several times to correct it only to get the run around. David said it was U-Haul who automatically charges. U-Haul customer service representative says it's the locations's fault. I don't know who to believe. And I am out $122.50. Very disappointed!!

The person who handled my transaction was late arriving at the store. He told me that he has no way of knowing in advance that someone is picking up a truck on a particular day, so he didn't know he needed to be there to have the truck ready for me. Between him being late, and the fact that the truck was not ready (covered in snow), I wasn't able to leave with it until 50 minutes after the designated pick up time. This resulted in me paying my loading help for time that I wasn't even home with the truck. This was an extremely frustrating experience that made the process of moving much more stressful than it would have otherwise been. The system needs to be improved so the vendors are aware that someone is picking up a truck so they can be prepared.

The on-line registering screens are little confusing, & clerk had to re-enter some/most info 2 or 3 times to get U-Haul database to accept. Not having a firm time limit is a plus, . . U-Haul is my preferred choice !

The person who checked us out was attempting to manage three different "businesses". I felt (after the fact) that she didn't have a good command of policies of U-Haul. She was pleasant but the site didn't have any one to assist us. Please see drop off location comments.

There was a huge pothole in the drive that was hard to avoid. Since it was a mix of businesses through one owner there were people there as I was dropping the vehicle off that we dealing with other issues which didn't make it convenient for me. There were multiple employees trying to close up the business for the night but only one person assisting customers.

The location was difficult getting to. Had to travel through a neighborhood to get to the store. Tree limbs and low hanging wires were worrisome when you have a large truck pulling an auto transport.

The store was too far away from my location and it needs to let customers know which door will be open at 10AM. Plus, the employees need to learn how to check out the equipment. Aside from this the equipment was clean and ideal for my purposes.

I rented 17 ft truck and received confirmation from Allen road Peoria location. But I did not receive the desired size of truck because of unavailability. I received 15 ft truck from another location. So I left my valuable items in trush.

I received 6 telephone calls from the time I reserved the trailer until I actually picked it up. We paid for it when we ordered the trailer. Then I received a call and it had been reserved for an incorrect date so I rebooked it and was assured that the original order would be cancelled so I paid again--very warily. Then when I went to pick it up we had to pay again or they wouldn't let us have the trailer. So I am waiting to see how many times my credit card has been charged and how much trouble I will have getting the extra charges removed. Actually using the trailer was fine. Clearly the company needs to work with their contractors and find a way to get rid of the duplicate calls and charges. Supposedly everyone hooks into the same system for reservations but not for payment and billing purposes.

While understandable that UHaul needs to maximize the lifetime of your equipment, my heart sank when I saw the old beat up looking trailer. It did fine for the journey but 1st impressions are hard to overcome.

Location didn't have the furniture pads I had ordered. I had to go to another location to get them. Caused me some extra travel time I wasn't expecting. I would recommend the U-Haul store on University and War Memorial instead of this location.

Ordered a 6 x 12 open utility trailer. When i arrived, only trailer onsite was a 6 x 12 enclosed. Worked out nicer for this time, but if I needed the open for height or something, would have been an issue. Hotline inventory records didn't not match location inventory records.

The U-Haul had 180K miles on it and was vibrating a lot. I can't understand why are customers given such old trucks and what if it breaks down in the middle of the road with all the moving stuff in it. I am surprised to see such a truck from U-Haul. Agreed that it was cheaper by $10/- as compared to some other locations, but 180K is just not acceptable.
