I told the clerk the gas gauge was on the amount fuel level when I picked up the truck. She said it was not a problem. Then I got an additional bill from U-Haul for 6 gallons of gas. I do have a photo of the gas gauge when I picked up the truck that also shows the beginning balance of the mileage. I went to chat online and after 30 minutes they cut me off. I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone at this time.BETTY W.

I dropped it off during normal working hours. Sign on door said they would be back at 2:45 pm. It was 3:45 when I dropped it off and still not back.MARC P.

Signage for dropping off keys said to go to web site first, which would not pull up. Resulted in making trip to office the next day. Office staff did not seem to know what the message on the drop off key box said.Darlene S.

I was very happy to have u haul to use to move my things but I think the price represented online is misleading as they charge a price per mile as plus insurance and gas and it quickly becomes a very expensive experience.Robert T.

I was charged an extra 24 hour day of use for a U-Haul, when I dropped it off the day I was supposed to. Even though I requested an Alachua drop off and was not provide one. And needed to find one myself.JORGE L.
I would recommend if booking in the Alachua area to just make the extra drive and book at the actual U-haul facility in Gainesville off 6th St. I reserved a truck three days ahead and had along with that reservation had booked two dollies and a dozen furniture pads. I confirmed my reservation with the manager at the Alachua location twice however when we arrived we were informed they didn't have any dollies or furniture pads but told that if we really needed them we could drive to the U-haul on 6th St. to rent them. Unfortunately we were pressed for time so we went without these very needed tools. Upon return of the truck my husband parked the 26ft truck in front of the building and we walked inside, the employee on duty made it very obvious he wasn't impressed we didn't back it in to the small spot where the truck was originally parked. That was really the point were I decided the customer service here is just awful. We received no apologies and no thank you.Earl H.

The first truck was not drivable on hwy. Had to take it to another dealership and get another truck. Adding another 30 miles and about 2hours extra. When we got the final invoice there were extra charges. These should be dropped. When I called company they passed the off to the agent and the agent passed it back. I got NO satisfaction or extra fees dropped. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. I'll look elsewhere if renting again. Gene BenwareEugene B.

There was sand outside and inside the truck. And a push cart inside that I did not order nor need. My brl I ngings had sand on them.Heather B.
Nick helped me so much. I completely messed up the self return option and I almost got overcharged 1 000 dollars but he was really helpful and was able to perform the return for me. I don't recommend doing the self return unless you are familiar with the rules!Victoria V.
The roof leaked and got some of our things wet, they were undamaged but wet, so the boxes fell apart. There was a used face mask on the dashboard and spray streaks discoloration everywhere. But worst of all, the young man running the uhaul place at first refused to help me. I had done the online ordering and was having trouble getting the app to work. I had to call Uhaul for help. They were wonderful!. But I still needed the young man to help. Finally, he unlocked the door and begrudgingly helped me. He grumbled about the virus. We were both wearing masks and I kept my distance.Rhonda M.

I know we are practicing social distancing, but at least come to the closed glass door to answer a question. The person behind the desk yelled across the room when I had a question instead of coming to the locked door. Also, the parking lot was small - about 10 spaces. This first time I returned the truck, there was only 1 spot left. This time, there were ZERO spots available and no one came out to help. So I had to park it horizontally in front of the other trucks causing me to block the other trucks and some of the parking lot. Again, the person in the office offered NO help. Need to do better.Richard H.
The office was disorganized due to the current sit6. The person kept blaming his coworker for doung things wrong when he was not there. The truck uses had a power steering issue that needs to be addressedWilliam K.
I was a lite floored by the cost...I started at $39 and walked out charged over $100 in so many other fees...I think the fees should be shown up front with an estimated total before you walk in the door...moving is expensive, but to be better prepared for a 60 added extras should be in large print on the agreement forms...thank youKolleen H.

Pick up Location: Nothing get team! Was able to help me out with the u-haul app when it did not work for the phone. Drop Location: Nothing the person was understanding.Politely corrected my when i said something the shop was unable to do. And even parked better than me when i could not find parked the Truck myself.Sean M.

The sales person was nice enough, however, I was disappointed with overall UHaul experience. Lots of added charges, tire pressure warning light, was told there was a ramp when there wasn't. I would appreciate a partial refund for my negative experience. Merci.joann M.

My issues isn't with the location that we ended up picking up from. The problem comes with booking at one location and then being notified that I have to pick up half an hour away with one day's notice. Then when driving back there's a truck just like we rented sitting at the rental location I originally booked at five minutes from my house. No additional mileage or discounts were offered for the inconvenience.AmyBeth T.
