I had a terrible customer service experience when trying to pickup a trailer. I received a reservation confirmation 5 days prior to the pickup date. On the day I was supposed to pick up the trailer (in a different state from where I live), I went to the pickup location in the confirmation and was told that my reservation was moved to a different location 30 minutes away. When I arrived at the second location, the manager said he was expecting issues and had been working on finding my trailer all morning. I was also told that dispatch should never have taken the reservation because there were no trailers available at the time. However, the dispatchers are paid based on reservations and that this is a constant issue. Not once did I receive a phone call from uhaul. I was told that a trailer might be available that evening but it wasn't a guarantee. I received a text confirmation around 11:30am saying my reservation was confirmed now at 4pm. Before I drove over there, I decided to call and make sure the trailer was there. There is no direct phone line to that store so I waited on hold for 20 minutes before talking to the operator. The operator couldn't even get in touch with the store to verify that a trailer was there. That's when the operator told me there was a trailer available at a third different location. About 45 minutes from where we were staying. I spent hours driving all around Denver trying to find a trailer so my trip from Kansas to Colorado was not wasted. During this process, I was told that I would be getting the $50 reservation guarantee refunded from the cost of the trailer but when picking it up (at the third location), I was told by the uhaul rep that he wasn't able to do that and that I would have to call customer service later to get that taken care of. For the sake of not wasting any more time since I had already wasted a day, I chose to not argue and just move on. I will most likely consider other rental companies should I ever need a rental truck or trailer again.

The service at the facility was really great but uhaul itself has been the absolute worse for moving. I have had issues now two years in a row with you guys cancelling my trailer because something was wrong with it. I dealt with it all day at work and finally got a trailer confirmed only to get a text at 8pm informing me now that again my trailer was unavailable. I will not be using uhaul again as this is the second time this has happened.

The cab of the cargo van was really dusty and dirty. The back cargo area was full of pet hair and I had to sweep it out before we could load it. Lastly, the location is a gas station which made it convenient to fill up upon return. I specifically asked the owner of the location if the gas pumps work after their 10 p.m. close and was assured they do. However, upon my return at midnight, the pumps were not working, I tried to separate pumps and two separate credit cards. I was charged for almost 2 gallons of gas, which was a huge disservice to me. I would have made prior alternate arrangements to fill up if I knew the gas pumps would not work, which is why I asked the owner at the time I picked up the cargo van. I would ask that you credit back my card the charge of the gas. I rent just about every weekend from uhaul and think you would offer me this as a loyal customer. As a small business owner, I would offer this a loyal customer when my service becomes a disservice to them. Thank You! On the positive side, the service at the counter was excellent and I got in and out quickly, which as a business owner this is great! Thank You!

Very friendly guys upon return of truck. Very accommodating. Clean vehicles and site. They work together. And take pride in their business. The guy who signed me in and gave me the keys at the start of rental was flat but adequate. Well kept store and ladies room. I will rent from them again and definitely recommend them to anyone that has a need for a rental truck.

The specific truck that I had reserved was not there at the time that I had reserved it for. I had also reserved equipment to help me during my move and they also could not provide that to me because they had "given it away to someone else". I will definitely not return to this location or recommend it to anyone.

I was supposed to pick up at 2000 old west mile high location at opening at 7am - called and confirmed the night before. No one was on site at the mile high location for a half hour so I called and switched to 2105 federal which was quick and easy - also at a gas station so super easy to fill up on the return.

My issue is not necessarily with the location I rented from, but with Uhaul. After I returned my rental, which I rented in Denver, drove 80 miles, and returned on time,Uhaul charged me $7500 and said I drove it to Chicago. It took several weeks and phone calls to resolve this. This is unacceptable.

The truck was sitting on a hill to make the gas look fuller than it actually was. As soon as I drove it off the hill (the attendant didn’t even bring it up to me) it dropped 1/8 of a tank.
