Problems with the app used to return the vehicle led to a 20-dollar charge. Even after spending over an hour wait on the U-Haul service line meant, I still ended getting the "after-hours" charge as the local site has the discretion to charge or not charge fees for returns. I would give the app a single start at best as it is non-functional to use for returns. I won't be using this location again in the future.Earl F.

The online app to get the keys was a bit confusing, then called Cust Service - on hold for over 45 minutes to get help. Meanwhile person at mini-storage unwilling to help . Pull in to leaving with truck about 1 1/2 hiurs. I was Furious!! Needed to pick something up at 11, didn't get there until 12:30 messed up numerous peoples plans.. i was so upset and mad! Booking was easy , finding my truck easy, just getting the damn keys , completely unacceptable. It was the worst CS with tge fat bearded guy at mini storage being arogant and unhelpful, and the long hold on the phkne. Wanna make it right?Terri S.

I had issues returning the truck. The app kept logging me out and when I tried using the app to submit photos of the odometer and fuel lever the app froze twice. Then I was charged a after hour $20 fee, but I returned the truck wising it only 2,5 hours from 10:10 am to 12:45pm. The app needs improvement it was frustrating trying to return truck. I also had to email and request refund if $20 service fee. In addition when reserving the truck no where did it ask if I was AAA member fir discount.Rosalyn O.

No one at location. Had to phone and get instructions; waited for someone to take my call for close to 15 minutes. Told to download app and follow those instructions. Took me close to an hour just to return my truck. Also had trouble with Moving Help in getting payment codes. Even though equipment and on site personnel were excellent, the overall experience was quite negative. Will not use or recommend U-Haul again.Ron R.

Uhaul self-service application was terrible. If it wasn't for the incredibly helpful staff at this location, I would've just cancelled my truck reservation. When making a reservation, I was not informed that a uhaul account must be created to pick up my keys for the reserved truck. When I arrived, I had to hastily create an account on the mobile site, which apparently malfunctioned and trapped me in an infinite loop of account creation/logging in/verification. The helpful staff at this location manually completed my reservation.Brian M.

Location is poor - trucks are parked on the curb outside a storage facility and there is no place to park and leave your car if you need to and no one available to ask for help or direction if needed. Self check out is not easy and cumbersome, again if you get stuck or have questions you have to text and chat. No one told me I needed another phone contact and no one was available this day to pick up - so my whole application shut down. I would never do self check out again - too stressfulBarbara R.

I would change Nothing! The customer service is amazing at the Cornelius pass mini storage location. I will only be renting from this location when needing a uhaul again. I have rented from several locations, but I have never experienced the kindness I experienced there. Not to mention when I picked up my truck 2 days before from a uhaul center the truck was disgusting! The day after I picked up the same exact truck i dropped off at the cornelius mini storage location The day before and it was spotless clean and ready to go.Dawn N.

The facility was a contract facility. They did not check the truck in for more than a day, when I returned it a day early. This caused a notification to me that I did not turn in my truck! I would recommend that this facility be provided corrective action on customer service or be dropped by U-Haul as a drop off site.Monti Z.
The governor on this u haul truck was set at 77. With several western states having speed limits of 80, this was not only a nuisance but actually dangerous. When I came up on a truck in the right lane, passing became difficult, and a line would often form behind me in the passing lane. Often, I had to give up the thought of passing, slow down, and go back into the right lane. Absurd that a governor is set on a vehicle below the legal speed limit. No fun at all.Koby C.
Truck had a small bend in side skirt when I picked it up. Was not marked in the damage form. I took pictures of the side skirt with the damage form not showing it because I thought it might be an issue later. It was. Truck was clean, but did not include moving blankets, dolly, or padlock for the rear gate. Had to go and buy those separately at a local store.Adam C.
Make clear what the actual equipment is that you have, versus what is presented online. Along with this, make sure your representative at the rental location knows the equipment sizes, and conveys what they actually are to customers. I called and reserved a 15' truck, which had certain dimensions, but when I showed up, it was actually a 14' truck, which had different dimensions, and made loading what I needed to more difficult.Ryan S.

The gal is nice but she checked in the wrong uhaul for my rental and then insisted it was the correct uhaul. It had the wrong mileage, wrong gas fuel line, and was dirty in the back. We drove twice as many miles, filled the gas tank, and swept the truck out twice before dropping the key in the night box. She charged a $25 cleaning fee for a tiny pile of dust (which wasn't ours because our truck was spotless!). But the mileage would have been about the same price as the cleaning fee and she didn't charge for the fuel. Overall, it ended up being the same price I was going to pay for the actual truck I returned so I decided to let it go. But she was so irrationally insistent that she had the correct truck for my account. I am certain she did not because everything was wrong (mileage, fuel line, and cleanliness). Oh well..Lupin D.
I am extremely unsatisfied with this location. I never had any bad experience with uhaul before as I have used them several times. Firstly, I had to wait (>15min) as the lady at the location was on phone giving training to someone on the uhaul interface. After that when she was filling my form, she was getting agitated with the way forms was getting filled and even said she hates the interface. I emptied the truck without leaving any debris/trash as I have always done with my previous uhaul rental but I saw a $25 cleaning charge. When I called and talked to her, she said her husband has to sweep the truck. I have never heard anyone to give back the truck after sweeping it else $25 will be charged!! Not sure if this is a way to earn more commission but this is unacceptable. I even filled the tank full as opposed to 7/8 that I got. I will not recommend this particular location to anyone and would really like to have my $25 back.Anuj M.

RUDE! Arrived before the time allotted. Asked the lady working the front desk to do a walk thru with us. She said it wasn't necessary. Didn't ask us about the mileage nor for the keys. Very rude. I was charged $29 on my card for not having the Uhaul clean and also 4 miles over our trip. We did clean the Uhaul very nicely. She sent me a picture of the back of the Uhaul with a little bit of dust that she swept up. That could have been from road dust. I demanded my card to be refunded and she started getting hostile, saying the Uhaul was left filthy. First and last experience with Uhaul. 1. I paid for the rental of 12 furniture pads and was given only 6; it took about 10 minutes to get the pads even though I had ordered them a few days ahead. It seemed the person helping with the order was not familiar with the computerized registration system, as it took about 15 minutes to finally process the order (even though I had registered all information online in advance). Most bothersome was that U-haul changed my pickup location on the last day. A representative called me from the (new) pickup location saying the truck was ready but didn't bother to say that the location had been changed. I went to the pickup location I selected online and they had no trucks and would do nothing to help. Turns out, U-haul had sent an e-mail a few hours before notifying me of the "change in reservation status"...but only those who check e-mail continuously would have known to go to a different location.BARTON S.

Have someone at the front desk that knows how to rent a UHaul.. No only was I overcharged compared to online pricing by $ 16.00. They couldn't change the pricing in there system? Should have been $ 127 for the 20' truck, not $ 143.00. Also the mileage was off on the vehicle. Plus she misfiqured my 1-way mileage. She couldn't tell me how far it was from Beaverton, OR. To Longview, WA.. So now I'm being charged another $ 28.00. Thank you very much. How would you feel ??SHANNON S.

I could see the trucks but the entrance is just a narrow driveway with no visible signs where I had to drive back and forth twice. The lady was very helpful and friendly, the man tried to charge me for not being cleaning the truck. I told him that I just moved some office furniture, no household items, and it was the same condition that I took it .... while no one had a walk through with me. It was backed into bushes when I picked it up and I could not go to the back and inspect either. He said he would let me go this time .... I still recommend Uhaul but not to return to this location.Simon W.
It took them 4 tries to enter in all our information before actually getting the truck. Either the system UHAUL uses is ineffective or the person that helped us was incompetent. The truck worked great and we returned it on time, yet after hours putting the keys in the drop box. The next morning I checked my email to discover the final receipt showing a $25 cleaning charge. We didn't leave it a mess as we only used it locally. My son left a matchbox car inside, but that was it. We weren't told to get it professionally cleaned and washed and we didn't eat in it or leave any trash. It's rather annoying that we were charged $25 to the already expensive moving fee! Overall the renting experience was great. After returning the truck and getting my final bill was not. I was charged 56,6 miles which I did not drive. My address which is listed on the rental is 2,5 miles away. I drove there and back then down the street 1/2-1 mile to replenish the gas I used, I put in $5. That's how much I used. I was told and objection would be done and reviewed. I would get a phone call within 72 hours. Not acceptable. I'm being charged $46,13 for miles that I did not drive. This needs to be fixed ASAP.Stacy T.
