Better directions where to drop off keys.
Mitchel EngelmanGentlemen kept saying they couldn't help me because they just take the keys. I had to call another UHaul location for help and that location was a big help. The interaction was stressful and took a long time.
Linda SchilskyI booked a rental in Urbana Champaign and the rental pick up location was in Springfield. I was told about this change a night before the rental and this disrupted all of my plans. This was so frustrating. It doesn't make sense that I had to travel to another city to get my Uhaul truck. Also, the UHaul truck was located in a grocery store parking lot and not in a UHaul location. I am never using UHAUL ever again.

Andrew FitzgibbonThis is less than a half mile from U-Haul. I don't understand that. Plus, I don't want to go into a grocery store to pick up a truck. I ordered the truck for the U-Haul store location on Bruns lane in Springfield IL.
Max BumgardnerIt was a grocery store and no markings or signs that it was a u-haul facility. I went in and told them I was to drop off a uhaul and they knew but there was no signage outside.

Brian SchultzIt was not clear that the pickup was inside county market, I assumed there was a Uhaul location in the shopping complex. The assumption was on my part, so not sure how you could improve that.

MICHAEL TROOPU-Haul in Springfield, IL is a joke. I requested a truck with some basic equipment, and the location I showed up at didn't have my truck. Then I drove to another location to get the truck, but they didn't have the equipment I requested. It took me 2 more tries to find a U-Haul location with the equipment I needed for my move. I would avoid U-Haul in Springfield at all costs!!!
DANIEL GREGORMake sure trucks are equipped with the extras it would be we reserved truck 12 pads and dolly paid and then was told it was not available but they had Dolly's for sale and could of just rented one but that was not helpful at all the manager at the county market didn't even know what keys went to what truck out was just a long process and it didn't have to be
Janet SelbyPerhaps more info in advance, what to expect upon arrival. It was a large grocery store parking lot. I didnlt know where to put the truck. Saw another unit way out and parked it there. Staff very accommodating.
RONALD LARSENThe reservation via the app was very misleading and absolutely the worse experience ever. No keys available, truck was not ready (pickup was at 8 am and actually got truck 9:45 am), no furniture pads as requested and no appliance dolley as requested. Had to make two additional trips to the actual U-Haul store after being told to come to county market to get furniture pads and dolley. An appliance dolley was requested and after going back the second time there was not one available and only an utility dolley which was not what was requested and needed. This was the absolute worse experience ever! The app was not the best choice after being told how convenient it was supposed to be! We are needing to rent a U-Haul in the next couple weeks and are very reserved to go through that experience again! I would very much appreciate receiving feedback on this.

Michael RayeMy truck was not there at the designated time, had been rented out. Finally after almost 2 hours I got a truck, then had to go to another location to get a dolly. Not happy!!! Took said truck back on July 3rd and was given a receipt. The price was much higher than quoted. Not likely to use uhaul again.

RAJESHKUMAR JANIPlease try to make sure both pieces of equipment can be picked up at one location. It was very frustrating to do extra running around on a tight schedule, I was even charged extra for going over the mileage, which I attribute to having to pick up equipment at two places. Both the man at Prepper Joe's in Hayward, WI and the man in Springfield, Illinois were super helpful. They did a super job. Customer service, once we got a hold of them also were very helpful.
Sandra Hetheringtonthey did not want to receive my rental this is a grocery store there should of been a drop off box for the key it was removed according to the store manager they stopped receiving u-haul rentals.. I ended up taking it to another drop off location.
