The uhaul broke down on me when the brake caliper froze up. Had to play tag team with customer service to get any help. They never once asked if we had alternate transportation and a way home after the truck was undriveable. Very poor customer service
ESSIE BMy reservation was for the 19,95 and no insurance but when I picked up the truck I was charged 15 for insurance and was charged 29,95 for the truck. Not to happy about that.

Charity DUhaul continued to cancel and change the reservation along with trying to make me travel an hour away from the pickup location to pickup the truck. Then travel another hour to pick up the trailer. When asked if they could be in the same place, the lady blew me off and said nope nothing I can do. The people at Cowetts went and got the uhaul for us and was extremely helpful.
Michael CI was charged for insurance I did not ask for. Beginning gas was less than what the paper stated, it was at 5/8 not 3/8. I returned it with 5/8 and they charged me $21 for gas.
Caroline BThe drivers door on the truck does not seal when shut. The truck felt like it was shaking all over the road when going 45 mph or more. Equipment maintenance is a big problem with U-haul. It really has nothing to do with the actual facility where rented from.

Philip LThey where curiosity but they talked me into bringing the truck back to presque isle. Then they charged me for the Xtra day and over 600 miles then I paid a extra 300 for the gas to come back. It was all taking care of by corporate headquarters
Annunziata GI looked up the drop off location on Google maps and noticed it was at a gas station. I was going to bring the fuel up to the 1/4 mark, but the store was closed and appeared to be out of business. Not happy about the fuel charges.
David WWhen I picked up the truck the box had not been cleaned/swept out from prior use. When I started the truck I immediately noticed the "Check engine" light was on. When I reported it to the agent renting me the truck he told me that it only meant that the truck was due for servicing (He did not check with a code reader). Once I was on the road and flipped down the center console to access the cup holders I discovered there was spilled coffee all over the inside. The agent gave me a one page equipment contract which did not list a drop off address even though on the afternoon before my rental when I spoke to DeeDee confirming my reservation she told me she needed it dropped off at Perry's.
GLENWOOD WUHAUL charged for an entire day but told me to return the truck on the extended day we paid full price for on that afternoon when we did not need to and could have kept working on moving. Which caused us to need a second UHAUL moving van.

PHILIP LDealer was unprofessional in their manor where they added insurance without communicating with me. Only did they address the price after I asked about the extra charge. I called uhaul and they said this charge would be removed after I checked the trailer back in. This is the second time I rented from this location, both times trailers were frozen under ice with snow covering the entire trailer. One of the workers shoveled out the trailer the best he could, however the ice build up was still substantial in the trailer bed which was less than ideal to load a motorcycle on.

PETER PThe facility was nice the people were kind not just to us but to each other there is absolutely no complaints. Uhaul on the other hand needs to be sure there are trucks available in Houlton as well. I drove to Presque Isle to pick up the truck which took my move day from 4 hrs to to nearly 8 to include the drive back to Presque Isle.

Edward BThis was the fourth time in four weeks I reserved a truck and finally got one. Had to pay a month for an empty storage unit and had to do move by myself cause people were going to help me got tired of me crying wolf. Do a better job of getting trucks to this area.

Karen NDo NOT overbooked trucks. I went to pick up the truck and it was rented out to someone else. Was told there were no other trucks. Ended up having to rent a trailer. Drove home 15 miles away and the door would not open. Had to drive back to get another trailer. 30 miles out of the way total for nothing. Called U-Haul and got disconnected...twice! Called yesterday to try to get some resolution and nothing came of it. This is the second time this happened! Nothing but a nightmare! Would I recommend? Absolutely not!
Dan BBe up front about cost. I rented a 10' truck that was $19.95. I had it for about 2 hours and my total cost was over $100 PLUS I had to put fuel in it. I feel it was deceptive

Frances Gthis past time I had to rent a Uhaul was not as great as our first two times. However, it was not Mr. Cowette's fault. The customer who had the 6x12 trailer had not returned it timely, so I had to rent the 5x8 which was not big enough and required two (2) four (4) hour trips (one way).
Diane LBoth rear tires were low on air. We had to keep filling them through out the trip and one completely blew on the highway and UHaul had to come and replace the tire

Diane LThe website used to register which size truck you need had false information i reserved a 10 foot truck and had to pay extra for a 20 foot. I had no need for that extra space and didnt need to have that extra charge you should get the size you ask for or pay for the size even if you get a larger one its wrong to scam people like that. And this is no fault of the business offering the service and more of a stock and corporate issue please fix your website
Zebadiah JAfter driving an hour away, the location was closed when I went to pick up UHaul at the scheduled time. After pleading with help in the garage for 25 minutes, and having them repeatedly tell me no, they finally called the owner who was responsive. It eventually got worked out, but the experience sucked and was terrible. Update your system with the actual hours you'll be present.
