Because the manager rod my location was called away by a medical emergency I had to check out with my phone on Safari. The ordeal lasted an hour and a half! Rest assured I will not be renting from U-Haul again.
James kThe 20' super loader we rented was desperately in need of service maintenance. The alignment specifically was absolutely shot. The GPS clocked me delivering the truck a mile down the road despite having literally backed it up to the storefront where it belonged. They had to "check the cameras" to make sure I wasn't lying. My original order was for this location however when I went to pick it up, no reservation was there but instead your system changed my pick up and drop off location, added two furniture hand trucks, and had my drivers license number wrong. WTF UHAUL?!?!

Roger FThe lot was too close to the highway. It didn't feel safe. I preferred the Gettysburg location as it is off a highway with 40 mph vs. New Oxford location with 55 mph. But service was great.

STEVEN RThe electronic check-in was extremely flawed. I had to call customer service while parked next to my rental because my GPS was pinging me out of area. Had it not been for my friend in the car who was able to check me in on his phone, I would have not been able to complete the check-in. It's extremely disappointing there was no backup method for verifying I was on site. You should have an alternative location verification option, such as a QR code to scan on the key box. I've rented moving vehicles before, including from U-Haul 2 weeks prior when the office was open. I was required to provide the standard: license, backup contact, etc. The electronic check-in requirements of lease agreement, alternative contacts and/or employer contact to be verified, etc were overkill and beyond the standard necessary PII for identity confirmation. I can recommend U-Haul as a service since it's always been great. I can't recommend your electronic check-in option.

Stephen TDani is an organized, efficient manager and gets the job done for the customer. Our experience for both truck rentals was better than we have had at other locations where we have rented trucks. If we need another U-Haul in the future, this is where we are going.

David YMake sure the locks are on the right trucks and the proper keys for each truck are in the appropriate cargo bay of the same truck. I spent an hour and a half in 25 degree weather trying to figure out what was going on and where the keys for my truck were. Brandon at U-haul told me I could wait till Monday or go to another location. I told him I had no way to get anywhere due to the fact I was dropped off. He said I understand your situation, but basically I was out of luck. He canceled the reservation. I found the keys to the truck I rented in the cargo bay of an entirely different truck. Thankfully those people were there at the same time or I really would have been s.o.l. I then had the keys and called u-haul to tell them I found the keys and go ahead and bill me. I was on hold for an hour and still never got through. On Monday I received a phone call from a gentleman at Cross Keys Mini storage asking if I had the truck. I responded yes and he informed me he was ready to report it as stolen. I explained what happened and it didn't really seem to matter to him. He said he would take care of the billing on his end. I wound up being charged around $60 more than what I was told. This was my first experience with renting from u-haul. It will be most likely the last time as this was absolutely terrible. In Army terms the whole ordeal was F.U.B.A.R. For those who know the acronym know what I am talking about. I don't know the last time I was so disgusted.
Julian FFrom start to finish I had an excellent experience. All the uhaul personnel was very nice and knowledgeable about their job. Definitely will use you if and when their is another move. Thank you to each and every employee that made our move successful.
CANDY MPlace was great, friendly staff. only downside was a personal one and that was my footing isn't the greatest and the large rocks in the road was hard to for my personal ankles.
