Everything was good except I couldn't do the online thing when I returned the truck. My phone would not let me. I called and left a message that I did return the truck before 4pm so hopefully I don't get charged.

Hours say open at 9am but office was locked and no one answered door or phone call. Luckily was able to return it using the “after hours” self drop off feature. Thank you for that!

I love the service was just a little bit disappointed that the truck wasn't clean especially due to covid I think you guys really need to take extra precautions and to checking your vehicles and making sure that the inside is just as clean especially if you want it back the same way.. other than that I had a great experience here I just thought you guys should hear the feedback about the cleansiness of the vehicle.

Customer service could be a bit more welcoming. It seem that there was a little more overflow of customers needed moving U-Haul trucks. So they brought in an older women to help, she looked like she may have some kind of ailment and seem to be angry that she was there, no patients with the customers. Other than that the younger Reps were great to deal with and very helpful.

The receptionist was neither knowledgeable nor friendly. She dis not verify that my reservation showed mobile reservation like my reservation confirmation did. I showed up after they were closed. When I went online to pick up the truck, it said I had to come back the next day because my reservation was an in-office reservation. Thankfully an employee walked by and was able to help me but then the 17' truck I reserved was not rentable because the door to the back was broken. They had no other 17' trucks available to rent. After paying for my rental plus 50 $in miles in advance, when I returned the truck they tried to charge me full price again plus more miles than I actually traveled. Parts inside truck were falling apart on 15' truck I had to rent instead. Roll up door was super stiff.

The truck we had had a very very loose steering column. Other than that, location was kinda " sketchy". The people behind the counter, the young lady that helped us in person was awesome. She answered all for us. Very informative

Location was changed with no notification I asked about the reservation guarantee and they told me it's be taken care of. Upon return, the guy was very rude and told be it's the other hauls problem. And offered no help and sent me on my way. He said if the other uhaul didn't take care of it- call the 1 800 number. Got the run around the whole experience!

I accidentally filled the glass to full when I should have only filled up to a bit over half tank when I picked up the rental. I wished you would reconsider refund me the overage.

We reserved*(thru call center) in Pittsburg but the truck was late & thankfully Antioch had the 26 ft truck. I rented days & husband didn't sweep out or fold blankets *(but it wasn't clean from previous customers the windows were filthy & cabin had crumbs & truck was not swept out previously!! ) Kinda unfair to charge me cleaning fee 25 $plus to fold blankets *(2x6=12 $) plus missing 2 out of 6 utility blankets =12/each to replace. This is crazy! I feel that for my inconvenience those extra fees should be credited. Anyways this location needs extra staff as long wait to check out truck.*(On a positive note the staff was nice!) The link to check out was not working well since WIFI connection is weak. Upgrade your internet to gig & you won't have these issues.

Very dirty place. Most disappointed that I reserved a truck at Brentwood Self Storage, close to my home and was switched to this location miles from my home. Was that UHaul's attempt to increase their income by making me put more mileage on the truck? I will probably not rent from UHaul again because of this. Lost a customer.

Tow dolly was in horrible condition. Some of the problems were spotted at the rental location, but many more were found by me the next day. I called uhaul to report the problems and the operator told me she would get me another tow dolly, but could not get one for me. She told me to do the best I could with it, and just call uhaul from the road when it broke down.

I returned the Uhaul and I was charged 53 $for gas refueling fee. I know for a fact that I returned the uhaul with over the amount I was given I will be disputing this fee, I feel it was a cheap shot to try an get extra bucks from me.

Your lot person forgot to lock the trailer to the ball. It unhitched and hit my tailgate while at a stop light. Lot was full and hard to unload a trailer and barely any room to get out

The app was confusing and difficult. It took many attempts to register. After 80 minutes, I called and spoke with rep-she was very good but I did not get her name. Then after another attemp there was a problem on her end that prevented authorization because the calls dropped. Then the drop off process was harrowing-no one around, app refused to work. This entire horrible process could have been avoided by one very simple action! Provide a cheat sheet of requirements for pick up and drop off ON PAPER. When I registered none of my questions at that time were answered- Ivwas told the app handled all that. So, all the info I I received was a link to the truly terrible, user unfriendly, confusing, so called app. I will never recommend the the U-haul on Willow to anyone. Their hours of 10 am to 1 pm show they are NOT customer friendly. The feeling I have from the overly intrusive app was that U-Haul considered me a potential criminal. First of all I didn't realize until later that they opened at 10am. I came to the yard at 9:30. There were employees taking care of returning vehicles, but not one person acknowledged me to say hey we open at 10 and we will be right with you. Nothing like that. So I'm waiting by my vehicle and another customer drives in and they opened the door for them, I was there since 9:30. So I finally got the trailer hooked up and I was so annoyed of all that was going in that I didn't check that the Appliance dolly was in the trailer. I get home and no dolly. I called and no one was able to answer my call so I left a message, no response back that they were sorry or we will credit it back to you.

Yes only because of location. My key was not ready when Inshowed took me 30 minutes to get the truck. Even though I did everything online. Upon returning the same process. 30 minutes to return truck. I did an Express check in and drop off. Keys were supposed to be ready and I was supposed to just drop off the truck. This was not the process, also there was no dolly or furniture pads that I had requested.

Let me begin by saying that I woke up this morning with intentions to reserve another truck with Custom Bunk Beds of Antioch, CA for this week. That is, until I reviewed my itemized bill from my last rental. After returning the truck, I waited with the gentleman while he checked it in. Initially, there was a kid who looked to be about 13yo checking my vehicle in. Upon observing the fuel gauge which was a hair below 1/4 tank, the young man marked it as almost empty. A second "employee" came over and corrected him IN FRONT OF ME and marked it at 1/8 to 1/4. Now miraculously, this morning I receive a receipt showing that I returned the vehicle between empty and 1/8 which is an ABSOLUTE FALSEHOOD! I'm not sure where the breakdown in your system occurred, but I figured that I would begin by giving you the opportunity to investigate and remedy the situation. I look forward to hearing from you very soon as the rest of my experience was fine...right up until the inflated and grossly inaccurate bill arrived.

My roadside service driver had to drive from Napa to Richmond to resolve my UHaul maintenance issue. It took home up to 90 mins to arrive. Perhaps improvements can be made to have roadside assistance available in the county where uhaul rental services are provided.

The location itself is fine, the owners/operators seemed like decent folk. What I do have issue with is the fact that I live in Pleasant Hill, 5 minutes away from Uhaul concord, and after reserving equipment at that location, having it changed, canceling it, spending a half hour on the phone with a Uhaul representative, booking an additional reservation and still having it changed locations. What would have been a 10 minute drive to get and return the equipment turned into over 2 hours out of my way! That's absolutely absurd that I cannot pick a location closer to me, nor could anyone tell me what equipment would be available at concord for me to rent. Not sure who handles these reservations for the greater area but some changes need to be made.

Not charge extra for irrelevant “rental time loss”. I moved a house by myself, rental ran late into night, facility was closed at 1pm reopened at 10am the following day, I returned rental truck by 9am, clean with fuel replenished and was charged a “late return fee” even though it did not affect next days rental

service was bad, didn't have the truck setup for early pickup like it was supposed to be so had to wait additional 2 hours just to get the truck. Then acted like it was our fault things didn't go through correctly. Wouldn't recommend this location at all!
