There's way too many steps to rent the uhaul without customer service. Finding the vehicle, using GPS location, taking multiple pictures.... It's way too difficult and there's gotta be a better system. I won't be renting Uhaul anymore until coronavirus is under control.

Accuracy of what the location offers and what the website says it offers needs to be fixed. Also, the woman who called me to make adjustments to my reservation due to the inaccuracy of the website was very rude to me on the phone twice, and then was abrupt and unfriendly when I went to pick up the Van. I will NEVER rent from this location again, and I will deter my friends from doing so.

We did our reservation on line for a one way on a 15f truck the price was, $105 for two days if you returned the truck to the same location. The dealer changes the reservation to local rental. Very bad people to do business with. Will never go back to this place

Have the equipment I reserved available, rather than forcing me into a local rental the day before such that I have to drive for four hours with my partner getting to and from San Jose, not to mention pay more. It's not like you didn't see it coming, since I booked it 6 weeks in advance. You need to manage your trucks better.

Improve the Signage for the facility location. The location is in a residential neighborhood and could be easily missed when driving to the facility.

The after hours drop off fee is a joke, a true SCAM!!! I did everything I could to get the truck back on time & the drop off system was acting up so I just put the key & paperwork in box ,I called the next day & the lady lied & said she'd wave the fee & still charged me,

There is always a line at this venue due to only 1 person to check folks in. Both times I've rented from this location it took 1 hour.

Staff were well informed/knowledge. 5/5 stars! Kind and friendly. The hellcat red eye challenger wide body almost fit, but the lip on the front of the trailer and the lips on the inside of the trailer was too high. Yes, I even put blocks of wood under the car's tires to raise the car. I didn't want to put it too high on wood blocks because of safety. So I put another car on the bed. Would recommend this place and trailer for someone with a normal height car. Next time, I might go for another trailer company that specializes on racing vehicle transport because I need a longer flat vehicle tow bed that has enough clearance for lowered sports cars. If there are any from uhaul, please email me information for those vehicle tow beds and how to order it. Also, if there are tow beds with a manual brake locking lever, it would been better for loading and unloading a high powered car because it kept getting pushed rolled forward. (the 800+ WHP challenger keep pushing the trailer even with tire blocks on all 4 of the tires on both sides of the tires of the trailer, the trailer and unhitched with the stand fully extended on the ground).

This part of the review is not about final drop off location, but about the process it took for me to finally get there. I reached my destination by 6 pm, unloaded the truck, and went to the drop-off location originally given to me by the pick up guys, around 7:30. The man who works at/owns the 100 Bliss Ave, Pittsburg, CA location said his location doesn't accept auto trailers, and sent me away refusing to help me figure out where else to go. I told him that was the location I was given and he replied “I don't know what to tell you, the trailer will get stolen if you leave it here and that will be your problem”. Thanks. Super helpful. So then I tried using the U-Haul chat feature because the phone lines were so backed up, where an “agent” gave me a second location to drive the truck and trailer to. This was not a U-Haul location AND even further away requiring me to fill up the tank some more to be at the half tank level. I waited on the phone on hold for 30 minutes before the representative Jennifer saved the day. If she hadn't been so helpful, I have no idea how I would have figured out where to leave the damn truck. I am so disappointed in this whole experience. It's completely unreasonable to take 2 hours to return my equipment when I had 5 different U-Haul locations within 5 miles of my new apartment, and your online agent took me 15 miles away. U-Haul- Look into your chat service, because “Lisa” didn't know anything. And future U-Haul renters - verify that your drop off location is a proper place because this was a ridiculous experience. I deserved way more than a dumb $10 certificate for all the bs that first guy gave me

Miscommunication on reservation of Pick Up Truck. She thought we wanted to "pick up a truck" like a van and sh said we can not reserve unless we know the size of van. They only have one size of Pick Up Truck.

The process itself was easy and convenient. The problem I had was with the people running this location. Right from the very first moment I stepped into the office to pick up the truck, they were extremely RUDE, and for no reason. Then when we returned the truck, again very RUDE towards us, as if we had done something wrong. We even brought the truck back early, and the check in guy was giving me a hassle about how the next renters were waiting. What? I was EARLY (by more than an hour), and he's hassling me about people waiting? Nope. Never using this location again. I've had much better experience with other locations.

When I went to pick up the truck I rented, the key was not placed in the locked box. I spent about 20 min in the phone with customer service in a 96 degree weather. Movers were already waiting at home which costed me money. All this for somebody to show up saying she forgot to put the key in the box even though I was there during the indicated time.

Only issue is I turned the trailer in on the 14th and received a email saying it was checked in on the 16th in the 16th in stead of the 14th all rented equipment needs to reflect the actual return date releasing liability for it to me when I return not days later and documents that it was returned on a later date

I had initially reserved to pick the van at the U-Haul closest to my house in Pittsburg. The Pittsburg location did me so wrong. I am going to review them separately but I brought that up because this location at 2425 Willow Ave. came to the rescue. They gentleman who picked up my desperate call for help was phenomenal! I wish I could remember his name. He told me he'd have a van ready at 2 PM. I got there at 1:35 PM and the van was ready. The lady who handled my rental was so nice that she even gave me a bag is special ingredients to cook some Nigerian food. I also like how careful they are in their prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 Virus. (Yes, it's real). They do not allow more than one customer in the office, an of course masks are a must. I'd also tell you about how beautiful the location is but I'll let you discover it on your own. (Hint: It's next to a vineyard!!!!)

I inadvertently went to the wrong location to pick up my rental - oh wow the people there were so nice and extremely helpful- so when I got to the proper location- I was not expecting the treatment I received- the lady was rude and talked down to me if I really hadn't needed the truck and being shoe on time I would've left - but upon returning the next which I was dreading I got a young guy he was nice and helpful and fast

I selected the original U-Haul return location to Bethel Market 6235 Bethel Island Rd Bethel Island, CA 94511 but they said they no longer partnered with U-Haul when I returned it. I ended up have to spend extra hours to make multiple phone calls and found another nearby return location. I was very disappointed and upset because I shouldn't have to deal with this on top of my moving hectic. Please update your website so it wouldn't cause any inconvenience to your customers.

Get some respectful human beings to work for you that provide at least the bare minimum of customer service skills. Also, confirming a time and then changing it without notice made for a very stressful move. My experience was not a good one with UHAUL at all.

Being of a older generation the app was difficult for me. I tried to link my app to my rental and I couldn't get it to work. I am grateful you still rent without a major credit card. Thank you!

Uhual is my preferred company to rent moving trucks. I use personally and I refer clients to Uhual for their moves. I am in real estate. I recently had a poor experience checking in with the front desk lady at pick up and drop off location (same office). She was not customer friendly. I returned the 26 ft truck back as a self check out. I know for a fact I left it as clean as possible. My kids and I swept it completely. She calls at 7AM to let me know I will be charged $75 for a cleaning fee. She was inaccurate with her findings, she first said broker glass - none, then said dry wall - none, then says "well garbage." I did have garbage bags - but they were heavy duty to prevent rips. I have rented many trucks from Uhual and this is a first. There should be pictures for proof that I uploaded when dropping off. This is both a concern for your customer service at that location and a dispute of any charge in excess of my mileage and rental fee. I should not be charged a cleaning fee.

The customer service was poor. The lady who checked me out and spoke with on the phone when I had issues returning via app was very rude and curt. I personally work in customer service in human resources and to have the experience I had was truly unacceptable. I have utilized your company's services many times prior and had always been a pleasant experience, but this really had me taken aback.
