Check-in was smooth.
Teddy B.We Were forced to drive 60 miles away to this location to pick it up when there were same size trucks available at two locations in our city. U-haul could not/ would not work with us. We even went into one dealer in our city and asked if we could rent one off the lot without telling her we had a reservation and she looked and said no problem....She was overruled by someone higher in the organization who essentially said too bad, so sad, take it or leave it.

ROMONA M.The inside tire on the rear passenger side blew up 40 miles down the road. It was completely bald and according to Whalen Tires serviceman it was not road worthy. The blown tire damaged the exhaust pipe which I was not aware of until late, and the truck did not perform at the end of trip. I could only go 50 mph on Interstate due to the issue. I was greatly concerned it would break down while I was out of cell phone service. It was a high anxiety experience.

Kerry B.It needs to be more clear to customers that you have to be at the location to return the rental by smart phone. My husband returned it but I had the phone at home.
Mary A.The truck was clean, however, the drivers side door allowed a very loud wind noise that was annoying and wearing. Also, the gate door to the back was very difficult to pull down and latch, most unsatisfactory. And last, I found the return gas level requirement absurd and frustrating. It's difficult to know if I got it correctly and/or was I cheating myself. All my other vehicle rental experiences have required a full tank return. This seems much more fair to both customer and company. I look forward to a corporate approved explanation.

DEBBIE P.The truck we rented was a heaping pile of junk. It should not have been rented out and has been very poorly maintained. It went dead 12 times and 3 times went into dead home mode. 7 quarts of oil had to be added during our 600 mile trip. We were unsure if we would even make it to our destination and the stops put am extra 2 hours onto our trip. We were on a fairly strict time budget for getting to our destination so having that extra worry about possibly not making it or delaying it was incredibly frustrating. This is now the second time I've been dissatisfied with uhaul and will be choosing a different company for our future moving needs. We will also be filing a formal complaint as no truck should be going out on the road in that unsafe condition.

BOB H.Wow, the personnel couldn't have done more for me. Unhooked the car, undid the trailer, had no problem with me bringing the truck back later and putting the keys in the lockbox, although I showed up only 45 minutes before they closed for the weekend.

DIANNA K.The location and people were great. My poor rating was because of the reservation dispatch service. I was very dissapointed to have to drive an extra 150 miles when my reservation told me there would be one in Great Falls. I understand that you do not want to spend the money to send someone to pick up the trailer. So instead, I had to spend the money. If you don't have something availble please do not lie and say that you do. Gerry Meyer
GERRY M.Dan's Tire Service in Conrad gave excellent customer service. Kim came in on a Saturday just to provide us with a truck for our move. Very nice and helpful, U-Haul is very fortunate to have Dan's Tire Service as a representative for U-Haul.
