I specifically asked for an in person pick up. When I arrived at the site there was a hand written note saying office will be closed for 2 weeks and to pick up truck using app. This process added an hour in to my day, caused me to return my rental car late and miss out on an hour of help loading my truck. I was very stressed out about this and unhappy with the treatment. Also, I paid for a furniture mover, it was not in truck and there was no one at site to fix this.

Daniel MParking lot was quite full and is narrow making it difficult to drop off rented trailer. Staff at pickup was very friendly and helpful. Drop off was at closed time.
Diane NThere's a $20 charge for after-hours pickup even though no one is being paid to help you. The process isn't super simple or seamless. The deadbolt lock didn't open very easily once the code was put in. The cab of the truck was dirty with uncleaned spills. I reserved an appliance dolly and the truck had a standard dolly.

Jason BI appreciated being squared away right away, there was 0 hassle. I only struggled with the pricing and receiving the invoice to an incorrect email so my suggestion is hav ppl write down their email or repeat it back verbally. Mine was 5 characters + @outlook.com but like I mentioned in the beginning of this review, I I was more concerned with getting everything hauled and stored and was happy to be taken care of swiftly. The pricing chapped my hiney but I guess that's the price you pay now a days for peace of mind lol. Won't use for additional errands next time tho lbs.

Bradley LCheck-out with the app/online portal was a confusing and frustrating 25min where I was unsure if support needed to be contacted because of the long processing time. That, missing equipment, and a downgraded truck from 26' to 15' only day-of notice... unless something changes, I would not use U-Haul again, despite the good truck and good price.
Michael JI was not informed that this location was closed for the day and the checkin process took much longer than expected. There was also previous damage to the truck that was not reported which cause damage to another part I was charged for due to high winds.
Rosendo SThere was clothing left in the truck and honestly some underwear in the cab...yuk! Also, there was some water that leaked onto my items that I had in the truck overnight. Finally...the weather seal around the driver door progressively came off and was getting around feet and legs as I got in and out of truck snd driving. Very unsafe.

Sarah JThis location was not open on Sat or Sun so I had to use a lock box for the key and the app for the pickup and drop off. The lock box had a difficult lock that was stiff and rusty and extremely difficult to open which was frustrating and stressful. Drop off should have been easy on the app as well however the photo would not load on the app. I would recommend a location with a human until the self service works better. Oh....and I was charged an extra $20 after hours service fee as well for the opportunity to not have the assistance of a human.

Ahmad nYour app doesn't work with Android. The location services would never acknowledge that I was at the right location. Had to switch to my daughter's Apple phone to complete the rental. 0 stars if able as it took > 30 minutes to get the app to work.
Mark GI originally had a reservation through acorn mini storage. I rented it a week prior to my move, on the morning of the rental I went to the location and opened up the app. After speaking with customer service I learned that acorn mini storage wasn't app accessible. Why wasn't i notified before the day of rental that acorn mini storage wasn't app accessible. This is poor customer service. The customer service rep found me a nearby location that did, however the map/location wasn't reflected well on maps, took me to their storage location about two blocks away.
Randy GI reserved to use 24/7 Truck Share for mobile pickup, but I had to go inside to check out shortly after opening time on a Saturday. I also returned to the person inside later in the afternoon. No worries. Everything worked out great!
James NFirst off the Guy there was helpful. Second the Fuel level was lower than the ticket showed. Third when stopped and put foot on the brake the engine would charge/speed up. wow very uneasy feeling to almost hit someone. Not very happy with the mntc by Uhaul
Timothy NFor the steps to return, it would be helpful to have a step saying "things to know before you return." In that would be how much gas needs to be filled into the rental, cleaning out the rental and folding moving blankets, etc…I didn't get any of those helpful things popping up when I was ready to return it.

Karl DThe app barely worked for pick up and did not work for drop off. It kept kicking me out of return process. The truck was usable, but very rusty leaving our hands and clothes very dirty. They didn't have a furniture dolly, even though it was something we reserved.

whitefeather lMaybe a fuller compliment moving supplies, but given its size and location, I'm not surprised the overhead is kept low. We have been coming to this location for years and been dealing with the same young man. He is very capable and friendly.
Kim LThe first two places I tried to drop the vehicle off did not work, so I was sent to this location. This extra driving is the reason I went over the allotted mileage, which I was still charged for. In addition, I overestimated the gas needed, and left the vehicle with about half a tank more than was required at dropoff. Perhaps there is no way to provide a gas refund to customers, but the significant amount of extra gas could have covered the extra seven miles I was charged for.

George OI didn't get a code to open the "return key drop box", so i just opened the box where I found the key with the only passcode I had.
Sheila OVery smooth pickup and return. They had the truck ready and running to warmup on a -3 degrees day. Fast and easy and friendly, smooth is what you want when you're moving stuff!

Billie PThis U-Haul location was easy to get to, and the representative was a very nice person and made it a good experience. My problem is with corporate U-Haul, who, once again, I believe is deceptive in their practices. This is the third time I've been told that a trailer would be at a location and then I get a phone call the day before that it's not available and I need to travel to another city. I was told I'd have to travel an additional 50 miles to pick up the trailer that I wanted. my advice is don't ever believe U-Haul has a trailer where they say it is.

Ryan LThe location was fine, my frustrations are with the reservation process as a whole for this order. I received confirmation of my U-Haul at a different location. The following day I received an email saying that my pickup location was changed without my confirmation. This change resulted in extra fees for milage. I did not receive a confirmation call so was unable to share my experience with a U-Haul representative.

Diane MI was over charged from Dart Storage. I paid 178 something for less then 50 miles and for only 3 hours of rental. That was not what I was quoted.
Shontae WInside of windshield was very dirty. Windshield washer fluid was empty creating a dangerous situation. Dolly was left in the back as well as a purse and garage clicker from previous reservation. Significant damage on roof of van was not displayed in photos when using the app to pick up so I felt the responsibility to catalog all damage even though it wasn't from me.
Craig HThe return procedure is unacceptable. To have to download the app to return a trailer instead of being able to speak to a human just doesn't make sense when you are returning something on the weekend, without any personnel at the location to help. Very poor!

Rylee SClean and remodel to make the space better to work in and visit. Add landscaping fruit trees and a few planter walls for peppers and tomatoes. The staff was good and service quick and accurate.

TERRY TThe word lock on the box to get my key to the truck was almost impossible to open. Due to the way the lock worked, we couldn't figure out when the tumbler was in exactly the right spot and ended up wasting a lot of time on this that should have been spent moving instead. The word we were given for the lock was "hate". That does not seem like a great word choice either for a business either, especially in today's climate. Also the app requires multiple restarts throughout the rental process, which was extra frustrating. I was supposed to pick up the truck at 8, we started the process a few minutes before 8 and didn't leave the lot until about 8:48. That's a really long process for something that should have taken 20 minutes at the most. I'm willing to try the location again if they are open and I can deal with a person but I do not plan to use the app process again.
