Customer service was not good. Felt like I was imposing with any question. Plus I had to wait wait wait while owner was fixing someones car. On drop off, I couldn't get any info on the bill... as owner was more focused on closing (early!). I still dont know the cost? Wanted to ensure I was not charged for a full tank as van was not full (5/8). I only went 5 miles... so I put 1 gal. Gas in van. tried to tell him that. He wouldnt engaged... kept saying ...'they will close you out in the morning??? Who is they?

Better awareness by rental pick-up (Dave's) of on-line booking as they said that i could just pick it up after hours which wasn't the case and involved waiting on hold for 1 hour for customer phone service to assist with the pick-up.

They overcharge my bill which should be around $1600 but charged $1900. The location is not somewhere i would recommend to my friend.

Dave's Fifth Avenue station is actually good, and the service there was great, but the neighborhood location is pretty rough with many, many dilapidated buildings and high crime. It's nerve wracking.

Stop over booking the trucks and the guy at Dave's station was rude an unprofessional. I advise people to check there statements, I had multiple charges on my card without my authorization. Called the 1-800 number and they said they didn't know anything about those charges and it wasn't authorize from them. To go back to Dave's gas station and check with him 樂 don't ever use this location ‼️

Make the mobile return EASIER for people that are not tech savvy! It's not an simple task! Folks are already stress out from moving they just want to return it and go . Why must things be so complicated and then whe you call for help it takes 40 minutes for a rude person to speak to crazy!!! Finally a nice rep Lisa help me thanks to her I got my issues fixed!

This brand new van I had a broken air conditioner and it was 90°. The owner of the location did not want to change it or even seem to care about the issue.

First thing I rent a $29,99 15 feet and truck for 24 hours, received the truck dirty with dirty water in the front on the floor back was not the cleanness either but I too photos, upon return I wash the box of the truck only used it for moving furniture and they charged me $25 for cleaning - lie, also charge my card $110 and I dont know what for! it just does not make sense.

I booked a van for my move, and I choose the 24/7 option that's wonderful. However, when I arrived, I started the check-in process, everything going well. when the app showed me the photo of the van I located it and everything was parked perfect. Proceed to get the key in and then the problem starts, I took the key and went to start the van, but the key belonged to another van that was parked behind the other vans making access impossible. I called support and no one helped me, they told me they couldn't do anything since I had the key. I explained everything that happened and I just wanted to cancel and not be hired for anything. But nothing was done in my favor. I then left the key in the return box and completed the process. I highly recommend this place!

'My location was changed and I was not notified. When I called customer service and the scheduling department, I received terrible customer service from UHAUL (Not Dave's, dave's was great). The UHaul representative said "It sounds like you don't want this truck, should I cancel it so someone else can have it?" When I had explained to him I was moving from NYC to Ohio. The changed location was difficult for me to access when I was already experiencing a stressful move. In general, I would not recommend UHaul to anyone ever again.

I went to That location expecting to be helped by someone. He man at the counter told me to get the keys from a locked box, by unlocking with a code. I did not received any code in any email or txt msg. About 20 mins later while I was still on the phone trying to get a unsullied customer service employee to help me, another guy comes in from the Dave's Fifth Ave station hands me the keys of the truck. I was confused.

The lot owner didn't help at all even with answering a question, 2 of the agent that was supposed to help me get approved just completely ignored me and closed the window at me , I provided with more than 5 numbers for them to call and verity me my brother and also my aunt said it was only an voice mail message they did not receive no call, it took me hardly about an hour or so to get out of that parking lot in a super hot day, and I think the 2 agents that didn't help me did not care at all worst experience of it all

Give an option for a temporary ID paper to be scanned when the ID didn't arrive yet. It's less hassle and takes up time. Other than that easy online process.

You need to make it clear that a counter check-out is not available. My friend was trying to pick up the truck for me in Mount Vernon, NY. He does not have a smart phone. I had requested a counter pick-up, but then the morning of the reservation, I was informed that the counter pick-up would not be available. My friend could not access the truck. I had to drive 25 miles, from Brooklyn to Mount Vernon, NY, in order to pick up the truck, then drive it back to Brooklyn. Then I had to pay a $20 fee because my friend could not return it by checking out with someone at the counter. It was awful.

Make sure this location does what is right. A one day rental cost $245.00. I still don't understand why. I think this will be my last time using U-Haul if this is not straighten out.
