The office was unmanned when i arrived so i had to make several calls to get assistance. When the two workers arrived i was scolded for not calling the number that was in a window but not located on the actual door.. the truck was clean but had nearly no gas and i feel i barely made it to gas station. I inquired about desert storage pricing and was quoted a price and then when later i got invoice it had insurance and administrative charges so i opted out of using them and when i returned the truck the office door was locked and it was dark inside but 5 minutes later the Light came on and the door was opened. I explained the situation with no gas or lack of gas and that i felt i barely made it to gas station. I was told well you made it right! He also added that people steal the gas while parked inside this gated area. I said well i am thankful i opted out of using the storage units in that case because if you can't protect the gas in the trucks then its not safe here. I got my receipt from the uhaul truck and they had added on two gallons of gas and multiple fueling charges when i returned it wiith nearly a quarter tank after having received it with nearly nothing. The guys who work at deaert storage on Dillion road in desert hot spring California are sketchy people who will rip you off so I had a terrible experience and while unloading the truck i realize there is a leak as it rained and there was a small puddle that fortunately hit something that it did not touch but the guys at desert storage did not note it as i had reported. Don't go here and I am going to rethink using uhaul in the future myself.

He had an emergency come up and had contacted me to let me know he had to leave the office, but stayed while I got to the site. He was friendly and patient and professional. John EReservation was moved to 3 diggerent locations. Was supposed to be a one way rental. At this location he stated he could not do that and i was forced to return the truck 25 miles away from my ending point. I Was given the rental with 40 miles to empty, staff said it had 1/4 tank of gas, NOT TRUE. Weather stripping on passenger door was falling off and hanging outside of the door. Inside of cab was not cleaned. Back of the truck smelled like someone had had a bowel movement in it. The floor was covered in some sort of brown liquid, manure was everywhere along with trash. I did not notice this until i drove the 40 miles one way to start my move. I called customer service to advise them, they stated there was nothing they could do until the truck was dropped back off. I had to clean the back of the truck before i could do what i needed to do. truck did not come with dolly or blankets, staff at location told me to stop at a different uhaul and rent a one way dolly. I tried other dealers but they said they do not rent a one way dolly. After dropping the truck off I made sure all debris was removed from cab and rear of truck. Shortly after I was charged another $91. Which brought my total to over $300. Very disappointed in this lack of customer service and would like a refund.

Steven Tthe facility was good but the arrangements were not clear and very confusing on the morning of the move. I was called by customer service in Michigan that my reservation was moved and the the nearest location that had my truck was at a different location.They were unclear if i was going to be compensated for the difference in mileage. Then when I spoke with an employee from the location i was told the truck was still there and my reservation was still vaild. This whole situation put me behind my schedule and I had to pay my movers extra due to all the confusion. Also when I got the truck, it was on "E". This ordeal was very stressful.

Steve HCheck the truck before delivering to next customer and deliver it the way you want it back (plenty gas, so that the customer doesn't have to go straight to the gas station to fill the truck; swept not only on the back of the truck, but also in the driver's cabinet floor and some trucks need to be mop. Please leave cups holder area in the driver's cabinet clean, because for sure the next customer and moving crew will carry drinks. Even the boxes area on top of the truck inside the loading area of the truck has to be swept. If you are in business, please have equipment in perfect condition otherwise, customer will be struggling against time running to other stores that have equipment in good and working condition right before the moving crew arrives.
