When I pick up my truck the gentleman was really kind and personable explain to everything that was expected of me it was a pleasant experience thank you so much
John COriginally booked closer to my home in Hobe Sound. Only after my reservation was I then informed it was 6 miles in the opposite direction in Stuart. The real issue is upon arriving door was lock and after 45 minutes of standing and waiting I was informed by a man working at thre storage units next door that he thought I needed to call UHaul. After another 30 minutes and downloading an app, sending pictures etc.. I was finally able to get the van. Why wasn't I informed that this was going to be the process? What if my wife had just dropped me off and I did not have my cell phone? What if i needed blankets for the move, which I did? What if I needed a hand cart which I fortunately had one. Just overall a dissapointing experience that added 90 minutes to a very busy day and it all could have been avoided with better communication on the part of U Haul.
Daniel KThe truck was a literal death trap. While the engine was fine, the side mirrors kept falling down. Had I been driving this truck more than just a few minutes away, I would have returned it. I couldn't see anyone behind or beside me. The side mirrors were completely useless. I've used Penske every move in the past and I'll be only using them going forward.

JESUS ATruck was not here when I arrived. i was referred to another location. blanket were supposed to be included in package but they were charged as "pads". i think the dolly was included in the service but it was actually a paying service. no A/C in the truck

Melanie TWhen I picked up the truck, the fuel was on "Empty" with a message on the dash that read "33 miles to Empty". I took a photo and reported it to the agent onsite. He called another UHaul person, and she told me over the phone that my record had noted this fuel level and to just return it with at least that same level. But when I returned the truck today in Stuart, FL reading "45 miles to empty", UHaul directed that unless the truck was returned at 1/4 of a tank, that I'd be charged a stiff refueling fee. I asked for an appeal ofthis decision to the regional boss, but that did not happen. So I was required to buy gas for UHaul beyond the fuel that I used. Not only did I return this truck a day earlier than required, but having spent over $1000/yr on UHaul rentals each of the past few years, I can tell you that this fuel fraud sickens me. I am done with UHaul. But I will write letters to see if this fuel fraud is systemic at UHaul.
Dale SThe location was fine. There was a sign in the grass that stated to park the UHaul's on the grass. The process of the drop off was not very satisfying. We had to drive the truck to a destination that was out of the way of our original drop off location, which we were told was no longer available at last minute, forcing us to use more mileage. It was quite frustrating to be told last minute that certain locations weren't available. And this was all told to us by customer service, otherwise we wouldn't have know we were no longer able to drop of at our original destination.

Groehe GU-haul truck was not easy to handle. There was a lot of play in the steering wheel and ther was a tendency to pull to the left. Other than that everything went well.

John Gvery unacceptable experience with booking the reservation I requested the truck with 30 days notice . Two days before scheduled move I still had no confirmed location pick up. It was confirmed by scheduling the day before the scheduled move. . When I got there there was no record of the reservation and no truck. Had to drive130 miles round trip to pick up another truck. ^ hours wasted i. not good!
William MThe communication process for the rental was poor. The price I was told on the phone was significantly less and there were no details as to the mileage and what charges would be if mileage allowance was exceeded. I thought it would be around $250 and it turned into $400.

Aleksandr STruck windshield has not been washed in a long time /absolutely filthy to let a customer drive away and have to deal with bird poop/dead bugs .

Anthony TWhile the location and person that helped us out at this location was great, UHaul themselves were not. We reservered a truck at a closer location and was confirmed. Literally the morning we were going to pick it up, the location was changed on us and we had to drive 40 minutes (20 miles) extra to pick up our truck. UHaul did NOTHING to help give us extra milage for the inconvenience or even let us change our drop off location. Very disappointed.
Seth FMost horrible experience ever!! Uncoordinated; disorganized; customer unfriendly orginization Ive ever run across. Neighborhood UHauls are a joke. Truck stolen in Tucson, AZ. Instead of empathy when recovered I was told 3 days or the contents will be destroyed. Im sorry, EVERYTHING I OWNED WAS ON THAT TRUCK. Wanna know what happened after that? Check your records. It will astound you. As far as I'm concerned UHaul owes me. Never recommend or use uhaul again.

Paul MThe çlerk was friendly and efficient. When returning the vehicle at approximately 1 p.m. the office was closed, so I deposited the key in the appropriate drop spot. If çlerk was coming back it would be nice to have a sign for returning time.
Steven VGas charge was outrageous. I drove 11,2 miles per the mileage charge and was charged over $19 for 4 gallons of gas. There is no way this is possible. Total rip off.
