You have to maintain safety on your equipment,! I picked up the tow dolly up and drove it 5 miles home, when I got home I noticed a huge spot of rubber missing from tread. So after I did an inspection on the equipment, I noticed the wiring harness was worn and not working... I check lights and nothing worked, I used it anyways because I needed to.... I think the tow dolly needs to be repaired by uhaulSteven P.

Truck was very dirty and even had a USED mask right on the console from the previous renter. We had to spend a good part of an hour disinfecting the truck before loading it. It was disgusting and looked as though it had NEVER been cleaned. During the virus you would think that uhaul would take special precautions and make it mandatory to clean and sanitize every truck. The fact that we spent 500 $on a truck that we had to clean and sanitize ourselves is absolutely rediculous.Crystal M.

I rented the vehicle for 79 cents a day and because it was returned after 2pm on Saturday I was charged 99 cents a day which came to over 400 $.Kim S.

The employees were 40 minutes late arriving at to the store. I waited 15 minutes for them to arrive. Although I had completed all of the online 'quick checkout' information, I was asked for most of it again. The process took me an additional 15 minutes to complete the process for the rental. The equipment was not at the location I was checking in at, but it was a little further down the road.MARK B.

I was charged 97 $at pickup and when I returned the truck they charged me another 104,77 but my total bill was 127.25. with a total charge of 202.25. this is way over the total cost of 127.25.Eric M.
Truck wasn't wiped down at all, the driver's side windshield wiper was broken at the top so I couldn't use it without damaging the windshield. Fortunatelyily I didn't have to use it. Other than that not terrible but those 2 things shows a lack of care that should always be there.Steven B.

We reserved a 15 ft truck when we tried to start it it wouldn't start. Had to stand outside in 10 degree weather while the owner tried to start the car for an hour. Then we had to take a 10 ft truck. The 10ft truck worked fine and was maintained.James S.

signing the actual truck out from company was extremely difficult, they were experiencing computer technical difficulties.jean P.
The location rented me out a defective unit during my one day drive from New York to Florida the back half of the 6x12 enclosed trailer got soaked. The place I rented it will not help me out in any way the place I dropped it off would not help me they told me to contact the place I rented it from.. I called the guy told me he would have his area manager call which I have not received a phone call yet from.. I've contacted corporate multiple times and left voicemails with managers still have not received any return phone call. I had to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges it's very unfortunate I'll never use Uhaul again in my life I've used them many times.. I had wood in there from the 1800s that's Irreplaceable from my grandmother's Barn. It got soaked a brand new TV still in the box soaked, luggage bags ,dinner table the list goes on I'm still waiting on them to get back to me I plan on making a big deal out of this it's unfortunate. The kicker is I paid 1 300 $to move my stuff 13 $they took from me knowing their trailer was defective and ruined my stuff I showed them pictures blah blah blah 1 300 $they took from me instead of making it right . Uhaul where I dropped this trailer off told me straight up this should be free I'm sorry I can't do it on my end. And to make things better I dropped the unit off 3 days before my contract and they still didn't care. Well I hope somebody reads this and reaches out to me with a real solution I know what my next step is...ROBERT C.
Trailer was swept but when I kneeled to secure load, my knees turned black from the grime - trailer needed to be power washed. Also, had to wait 30 minutes after paying for the trailer for a mechanic to take pictures of the hitch. I was already late because I had to travel 30 miles from my location to pick up a trailer larger than what I ordered.mike B.
Windshield needed to be cleaned inside and out. Cab floor was dirty and box needed to be swept. I'm not criticizing the pick up location. They were extremely busy and were very polite to all customers.Paula W.
