Despite assurances from U-Haul that no charges would be made until "Frank" in Pinetop made a decision, I have recieved a bill for a "wrong dropoff." The charges have been flagged for fraud.
Timothy HolloI didn't even use the darn thing when it was put on for me the guy noticed the ball and the hitch were 2 different sizes so it didn't grip correctly and I WAS NOT going to take it on the hwy so it was a waste of money I would have went and bought the right ball which should have been mentioned thats very dangerous and I wasn't happy

TARYN BECKThis is the first and my last experience with. uhaul and it's 3rd party's or whatever!!!! Three charges on my card. Guy said it declined at the card through the online reservation and he asked me for a different card and it's a mess. I have called customer service and that didn't help!!!!

Dale CummingsThis location (Douglas Storage Solutions) was the primary cause of the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I ended up at the Douglas location because I received a call a few days before my pick-up date to tell me the truck I reserved was not available at my preferred location, but it was available at the Douglas one (about an hour away from where I live). Upon arrival at the Douglas location, I was informed they did not have my reserved truck (15ft) either. The only truck they had available was a 26ft truck, which is way too big for my needs but I needed the truck, so I was willing to take this one. I also had a car dolly on my reservation as well. Upon trying to connect four different car dollys to this truck, it was determined that there was faulty wiring with the truck which prevented it from giving power to the lights on the dolly. At this time, I also notified the associate that the truck had its "check engine" light and the "check gas cap" light on. She said it was fine and to just "jiggle the gas cap". The associate at the Douglas location (I don't know her name, signature on the contract is LILI1355) determined we would take the dolly off of the reservation, I would be refunded the money for the dolly, and then she insisted we take the truck (with the dash lights previously mentioned still on) to a different location an hour away (actually my original preferred location) and that the people at that location would be able to fix the lights. With the agreement I would be refunded for the dolly, we reluctantly took the faulty truck to the other location. From there, we ended up at two other u-haul locations and spent a total of 5 more hours trying to get this truck situation resolved. During these 5 hours, the associate at the Douglas location DOUBLE charged me the total amount of the truck and dolly, which resulted in an overdraft of my bank account. When she finally did refund me the overcharge and the "correct" amount for the dolly, I was still refunded the wrong amount and was still overcharged about $85. I have never had such a nightmare of an experience on top of an already stressful event of moving across multiple states.
Jillian VenselYou should hire well prepared and knowledgeable personnel that provides their customers with good service. The man who helped me has charged my account 3 different amounts three different times without caring that i had already paid online. The app that we use didnt work properly also. After the stress of moving, dealing with the stress of the uhaul rental was not fun nor called for. I will never rent from here again.

Daina KurtziztaI have a problem with the fact that I had to pay $25 extra to have my car loaded onto the car dolly and then when I dropped it off I had to pay another 25 so I decided to do it myself. I think that should be included in renting it, so it goes on safely just saying.
DANA KERKSIECKWe were charged extra for Fuel when we had actually put more fuel in the vehicle than when we picked it up. Everytime we pick up a vehicle it does not have a full gas tank which is going to result in misunderstanding with customers on making sure the vehicle is dropped off with the exact amount that it was picked up with. It appears that this office is lazy and inept.

They truly deserve a raise for their impeccable customer service. I have never had a single issue with them and that's unheard of when dealing with U-Haul quite honestly. Elba PilroseHad problems with the trailer swerving really bad a trip that should had taken me about 3 1/2 took me almost 4 1/2 because I had to drive at a low spend then called customer service to see if something could be done after spending about a told of about 1 1/2 on the phone and between customer service, road side assistance, and traffic was told nothing could be done to just drive it back to where I got it I have rented numerous times from uhaul and have to say this is my worst experience I’ve had

Gregory CousineauThe young lady who completed the paperwork and helped me hook up the trailer was super. She was knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and efficient. I was in and out with the trailer in just a few minutes. When I brought the trailer later in the day, she saw me coming snd met me in the lot. The trailer was unhooked and I was, once again, on my way in only a few minutes. I definitely would use this facility again and I recommend it to others.
