Dan KThe people at Dreistadts are wonderful. However, the UHaul app is not accommodating and user-friendly at all. I wasted nearly two hours trying to work my way through getting the keys on your app and called UHaul Share number that left me on terminal hold. It was terrible. Simply, terrible. Thankfully, one of the Dreistadts employees stopped by the station (just by chance) and assisted me by contacting Mr. Dreistadt who was away but was wonderful in helping me from his vacation spot hundreds of miles away. If you are going to use technology, it needs to be thoroughly vetted, tested and tried before you put it out there to the using public. It is quite evident that this huge company is taking advantage of consumers by forcing them into a technology that 1) they may not be used to using and; 2) is non-functional even when used correctly. Just sinful and as much as I don't anticipate any response from this, you should know this is a significant dissatisfier. Shame on all of you at the corporate offices for permitting this to occur. Gary HThis location is basically a small auto repair garage that handles U-Hauls as a side business. The representative was friendly enough and quickly pointed out where to park the trailer. He told me that I did not have to stop in. That was the end of any assistance. The parking location was in a grass/gravel lot across from his business, which was fairly small and required a bit of maneuvering. I parked the trailer and departed, assuming that the trailer would be logged in and I would receive a receipt through my account. I dropped the trailer off on July 1st. The receipt arrived in my account on July 10th, and it showed the trailer was returned on July 3rd! So, I assume the guy just forgot to check in the trailer. No harm was done, I wasn't charged anything extra, but the return date on the receipt is not accurate. I understand this isn't his primary business, but it was clear the guy didn't really care about me as a U-Haul customer. This was not a good experience. I will also mention that there is a U-Haul rental location much closer to my house that would have been more convenient for me as a place to return the trailer. I am not sure why Dreistadts Service was selected by U-Haul. I should have been given the option to choose the location that would work best for me.

Timothy MAbsolutely nothing to improve upon at this location. Owner was the most friendly and incredibly helpful, especially when we had issues with online pickup. He even offered help with issues of our booked moving helpers that were not responding regarding scheduling. Much thanks for wonderful service!!

Tracey PThis has nothing to do with the location, but the cup holder in the cab is an odd shape and too shallow to be useful. I had a cup of coffee tip out on 2 separate times. Both were from a complete stop and when I pressed the accelerator it flipped out of the terribly designed cup holder. Thankfully I wasn't in traffic when this occured. I look at this and wonder how something so useless made it through the design process. Whomever is responsible should be terminated and not allowed near the design phase of van making.

Kristin SThis is a skeevy question, Uhaul. There was nothing wrong with the location. But you gave less than 12 hours notice that we would need to drive 30+ miles away to get our truck when we can literally see a uhaul location full of trucks from our living room window. That means 90 extra miles worth of gas because we also have to drive our car there and back to pick it up. Not acceptable.

MICHAEL bYou directed that I drive 25 minutes to a location four towns from me when there were large UHaul locations with trailers that were within three miles drive. I was sent to a facility with a total of two trucks and two trailers. You should inconvenience your customers just so you can move equipment that is in an out-of-the-way location.

RANDAL DWe had set up online check in due to the location not being open for scheduled pick up time. App would not work, was on hold 45 min before we hung up and called business owner..who met us later for pick up. Dreistadts Garage was wonderful, UHaul no help. Delayed move, helpers, and had to move in worst weather all due to being 2 hrs behind. You should not offer online pick up, obviously we weren't the only ones that had trouble with app, problems getting a representative to answer due to abnormal call wait times..

Brennda HI waited over 20 minutes to check in and get the keys. Then the truck I got was almost completely out of gas. So I instantly needed to find a gas station. Overall a terrible experience.

Christopher GWhen I picked up the trailer in Hallstead, I was told that I could drop it off ANYWHERE after making use of the trailer. I assumed they told me that due to all of the hassles I had with getting the trailer, including having NEVER been told that my original reservation was changed. I specifically asked if I needed to return the trailer to Jeannette, and they said no, I could take it anywhere. After emptying the trailer in State College, I tried to leave it at a UHaul dealer in State College since I was done with it, and was told that I would have to pay $82 if I did that. So I had to take the trailer the additional 2 hours back to my house, and then return it to the UHaul dealer in Jeannette the next day. That was another wasted hour in State College, as I needed to find the dealer up there, wait for several people in front of me to be waited on, and then be told that I had to cough up $82 or they would have to put the trailer back on my car, which is obviously what happened.

john sI used the Uhaul 24/7 truck share and it was very easy and we had no difficulties with the experience. I was apprehensive at first but as long as you have your smart phone and the required pieces of information they say you'll need, it was a piece of cake.

RANDAL DOwner demanded 8Am pick up. Van was dirty and had loose steering. Van used for local pick up. Returned within 4 hours with the required 1/4 tank of gas. Charged $46 for gas. Intetestingly, Mr. Driesdadt owns a gas station. The owner was rude and hung up on me. Two calls to customer service yesterday. Was told I would receive a call back within two hours. Nothing. Extremely poor customer service. Will never use your company again. Will relay my experience to BBB and social media.
CINDY STires were not good-balding. We got stuck 3 times and hydroplaned very easily. It was also disheartening that no AAA or Military discounts were offered.
CRYSTAL YVery efficient and courteous service. I like the fact that they were located in Jeannette, so close to home.
