Mark SWe ordered the 4'x8' trailer two weeks prior to needing it from a closer location. A day before our trip we got a voicemail stating that, even though we reserved the trailer two weeks prior, the location no longer had the trailer we needed and said we had to go to another that was further away and more inconvenient for us. Adding stress to my family and forcing us to change the pick up time from 9am to 3pm because of the distance. The guy at the new location couldn't have been nicer. We knew it wasn't his fault but it was a small headache. When someone gives you two weeks notice and pays in advance you need to have a trailer at the location. Two weeks is more than enough time for you to have the trailer we want at the location we want.

Richard OI scheduled my truck for 8:30am but had to call the gentleman to come in early since the business didn't open until 9am. If the place doesn't open until 9 why would uhaul schedule my pickup time at 8:30 ?????

danny yI'm not sure how this became the drop off location when there are other U-haul locations less than half the distance from my home. I rented another truck on June 4th and the location was approx 10 minutes from my home. Two weeks later I have a drop off location approx 25/30 minutes from my home. Miles away wasn't the issue. The route to get there involved back country roads many of which were oil and chip roads. Using more suitable roads would have added approx 20 minutes to the trip each direction.

Glenn RMy only complaint is not about this location per se, but about the UHaul process. I had reserved the truck for pickup at 8am at a location about 10 minutes from my house, but you switched us to this location at 9am about 40 minutes from my house. So it cost me an additional hour in travel time, and we got started an hour later due to the pickup time change. You should be responsible for getting the truck to the selected pick-up point.

cheri gThe gentleman asked if I would be returning it to him and I said I'd try. On 10/18/2021 he called me and told me I had to return it to him after I had returned it to a closer u-haul dealer. I'm never using u-haul again for moving purposes.

Karen SI am very upset with how the process of getting the U-Haul went. I will probably not use U-Haul again in the future or recommend it to people unless something is done with how horrible this situation was. Besides not getting the size truck that was reserved months ago (not sure why you even allow reservations if you do not honor them), I was sent an e-mail to go to Saxonburg instead of the original location that was chosen. Then a couple of hours later I received another e-mail to go to Glenshaw. I arrived at Glenshaw that morning of the move and was told my U-Haul was in Saxonburg. Moving is very stressful to start and you guys did nothing but make it worse. The only saving grace was the gentlemen I dealt with at both locations were very nice and apologetic. The fact that you can not honor reservations, and change locations on a dime is a horrible business model. $50 compensation means nothing to me for everything you put myself and my family through on moving day. We could not fit all of our possessions, we had to make multiple trips with other vehicles and overall this cost us way more money with how bad you guys jerked us around.
