Very small space by a liquor store, not obvious to find. Personnel didn't say much. Was charged a $35 cleaning fee even though there was no damage or dirtiness in the truckLisa G.

It was not an easy transaction. The site and I had to call and wait on hold a long time to find out what to do because no dolly was in the vehicle. Transaction was close to one hour despite trying to do online ahead of time. It was not the fault of the location (they were very helpful) but what they were given and how your company transacted with us. Also I had less gas than was registered and needed to fill up to make it to my transaction so I was out money for gas. I would recommend the location except it was a sketchy neighborhoodleslie F.
I went to the U-Haul for 2 hours a little less it ended up costing $100. I literally moved a sofa about 20 miles and brought the truck back I asked for the truck to be checked while I was there and was told to leave and they would email me the receipt it looks like extras for added on that I never agreed to as well I'm very unsatisfied with thisrobert P.

Pick up was cumbersome. If you need 4 extra people and phone numbers, ask for them online during reservation not when its on my rental time.Marsha W.

There was trash and nasty clothes in the back. It looked like someone was living in there. The guy was a half hour late to even let me get the truck. I had people waiting at my house to pick up the truck. This is was not the place I wanted to pick up but my reservation was changed with out me knowing. I tried calling uhaul twice and was on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up. It was a very frustrating experience.Nicholle S.
they asked me to come back in 2 hours to pick up the truck that was scheduled to pick up at 8am. The guy didn't want to give me a dolly which was order. I gave up on the furniture pads that were ordered and paid for, but never received. I spoke to Don a regional manager who had to call the owner, so the owner could tell the worker at the location to give me the truck and dolly. This made me late to start the move of my mom from san diego to bakersfield. this was an absolute nightmare.Russell M.
I got charged extra for things I did not sign up for. People working the counter did not know what to do when I got there. I recommend driving a few miles to the nearest location.Jesus S.
We rented the truck on Friday, January 1 at 9am in Temecula and returned it on Friday, January 1 (THE SAME DAY) around 4pm (less than 24 hours) at Dukes Liquor (technically a smoke shop to the side of the liquor store). The men at the store stated they did not give receipts but ensured us that it would be logged in correctly. I just got the receipt and shows that we were charged addItional fees for returning it on January 2 at 11:30am. This is incorrect and we are not happy that we trusted the men to have the truck logged in on the correct day at the correct time, not that we had any choice. Instead it was logged in a day later and we were charged. I have already requested an immediate refund of the added fees. This store needs to provide receipts for this very reason. We are NOT happy. Since they wouldn't give us a receipt we tried calling uhaul while we were there to state that we had returned the truck (again, not even in 24 hours). I would not recommend to anyone to rent u-haul with a return at this location since they refuse to give a receipt. EVERY one of your locations should be providing receipts. The online check in was not user friendly. The clerk where we picked up our truck was not knowledgeable of the process and it took 40 minutes to get our keys resulting in us being late to our storage unit. Therefore, we now need to make a second trip which will cost us extra money!Amber Y.
I saw the "$19,99 a day" sign on the side of a uHaul truck.....but ended up getting RAMMED FROM BEHIND for $145!!!!!! I even opted for the $14 additional insurance coverage, being the responsible guy I am AND spent $25 on gasoline to return it back at the FULL mark. So why in the ENTIRE F*CK did they STILL CHARGE ME $0,99 a mile???????????????????????? (yeah, I drove it for around that much distance.....but STILL.....) Going in tomorrow for ASS STITCHES............thanks ALOT U-haul.Carlos A.

The guy at Dukes liquor had no idea how to change my rental to 24/7 so that I could complete the check in online, took 45 mins calling uhaul rep for help... which made me late to meet my movers and therefore I had to travel an additional 24 miles to meet them further away and paid more in the long run. Worst experience ever!Angelica G.
The owner/manager/employees knew nothing about customer service, nor uhaul and how to process people in and out, they were not willing to help in any way, there phone was incorrect and the location was terrible. The overall experience was a nightmare.beatriz C.

A better explanation of the pickup process would have been very helpful. I received an email the day before pickup that said I was checked in and just had to show up at the pickup location to pick up truck. When I got to pickup location they said I needed a 'code' to pick up truck. I had no idea what code I needed. My email is hard to access on my phone. I thought the reservation number was all I needed. I finally was able to login to my UHaul account to finish the pickup process, but it would have been extremely helpful if I had received an email or phone call regarding how the pickup process worked at this location the day before.Nikki S.
Dukes Liquor was not my drop off point. Why would you send someone to a different location without the courtesy of a personal phone call to discuss it? My drop location was Brake Stop on India St. I arrived at my drop-off point and was told that they could not take my truck as they already had a 10 ft. truck. They informed me that I had been sent an email with the new location. It was my moving day..... I didn't have the luxury of hooking-up internet and installing my computer to review emails. The staff at the Brake Stop location were very rude. They initially refused to take the truck. It took a couple phone calls from me with a manager to make arrangements for a U-haul representative to come pick up the truck at my designated spot. The other location was over 5 miles from me. I had planned to walk back from my drop off point. I would seriously suggest that you evaluate Brake Stop as venue for U-Haul. Their customer service was horrible. They had one 10' truck parked on a busy street with no more room for a second truck. They don't give shit about the customer! They did not want to help with problem solving. Why would you want them to represent your national brand? As was the case with my pick-up location, these auxiliary locations are not equipped to represent you properly. My entire experience this trip was beyond frustrating. There was a lot of wasted time. If you are going to accept advance reservations, you should be able to deliver what you are offering, and not send your customer to whatever location makes your job easier.Steve S.
