My truck was very dirty when I got it and smelled gross. Customer service was poor as well.

Place smelled of drug's, girl behind county did not inspect truck or car trailer. She was on phone talking to friend or someone entire time . It was like i had mad problems for her . I had to park truck myself . Would not recommend this place to anyone .

This is a very easy location to rent from. And the equipment is always there for your needs.

There was no assistance available to help me connect the trailer safely to my car. There was only one person in the store and had no knowledge or experience connecting trailers to vehicles. Asked me if I knew how to do it. Fortunately I did but had I not, this would have been a complete bust. I don't know how this person would have serviced equipment and still done their job waiting on convenience store customers at the same time, since they were the only person in the store.

Turned the truck in Friday afternoon. Clerk said he would email me shortly. The next day I called back and spoke with someone different. She didn't know there was a truck waiting to be return processed. Anyway, she found it in the lot but the guy from the night didn't do anything with it. I left the truck unlocked for him and the piano dolly and blankets in back. Glad they were still there.

Owner of this location was stellar. Before my arrival a severe thunder and lighting storm passed through the area which shut down the internet for all local area businesses. I traveled to NC to purchase a car from a personal owner and needed a car dolly to transport home. I had no prior reservation for the car dolly. Owner just used his cell phone to conduct the transaction without skipping a beat. I was in an out in all of 10 minutes. Others may complain of the look of the store/gas station, however, I found it quite quaint and reminiscent of a bygone era where the emphasis was on customer service rather than shinny and useless accouterments and manicured concrete. Cashier was very courteous and greeted all who entered in a pleasant manner. The owner should be commended for his customer service skills, as well as his employees, operating under not ideal and sudden circumstances. It was a pleasure to conduct business with this store.

Representative was friendly but I was charged for a Dolly that I reserved but did not come included and I was told I would not be charged for it. However, in my bill it is charged. I hope to get a refund for the dolly. The representative told me I would not be charged.

Location failed to report the trailer as turned in for more than 24 hours after the return. Caused me unnecessary aggravation.

The customer service person Mo, was super helpful and was very pleasant to work with. The location is just down the street from my house which makes my life easier.

First of all, this location is a gas station / convenience store. I was left with a strong impression that the U-Haul portion of the business is an after-thought, at best. Parking for trailer drop-off was not readily available. I had to move a couple of other trailers by hand in order to create a space to back in the rented trailer. Further more, I received a bill for $124 for 4-day late turn-in. In FACT, I turned the trailer in after 32 HOURS of the initial rental (less than 2 of the allocated 4 days). I speculate the receiving location did not process the paperwork for 6 days AFTER turn-in. My advice if returning equipment in Wilmington, it would serve you well to return equipment to the larger single-business U-Haul location on Market St.

Moving blankets were soaking wet. Uhaul was not clean - cab was covered in dog hair and smelled like urine. Gas level on contract was a quarter tank higher than the gas level in the truck.

The location was fine. UHaul however gouged me on the fuel. I filled it up to 1/4, but they are charging for 6 gallons plus a fuel refilling fee, this is ridiculous!

Some of these “Neighborhood” locations are a little dodgy looking, but this particular little convenience store was only a minute from our destination, and the fellow there was very helpful in checking us in. Was on my way pretty quickly, e-mail receipt showing the completed return in hand.

It is sometimes difficult to get someone to answer the phone, but in person the customer service is great.

We rented 4 furniture dollies over one week out and when we got to the dealer there were none. U-Haul could not find any in the Wilmington area for us to use. We ended up purchasing dollies from our local Lowes at 830pm so we could have them for our 6am show time to move our showroom cases across town.

Inconvenience at the drop-off location. Initially the receipt for blankets was higher than what was on my contract. Had to leave the truck without getting a receipt because personnel were not on hand to check me in. Made me very uneasy. Eventually received a receipt later in the evening but an interim receipt was very confusing.

I purposely rented the Uhaul for its size as noted online. After receiving the Uhaul and getting to my destination for the move it was not the size as advertised and my items would not fit. I was forced to find other accommodations to complete the move. I now wasted money on the Uhaul for no reason.

Can't log into my account. Had to mop the truck bed before putting my items in. Crappy gas station pick up. Although the cashier was great and handled things quickly. Changed my pick up location and told me on voicemail, tried to call the number to switch it back($.99 a mile) was on hold for more than 10 minutes only to have to get transferred because I reached an office in another state. BTW, the 10' truck gets 10,63 mpg, not too bad.

Our original pickup location informed us they no longer carried U-Haul, so we went to the next closest one (ez mart) they were completely understanding and went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. Great experience

The location was great, but the uhaul customer service I received by chat was horrendous. You should put in GIANT BOLD PRINT on your website when reserving that you need to take photo evidence of every square inch of the truck and every moment of the transaction less you want your money stolen.

These people are shady and unprofessional. Check your outgoing mileage carefully and fuel level. Verify that they charge you for the correct amount of days. I've dealt with them twice and both times there was an issue. I got charged for 2 days when I only had the truck a few hours. They also had the incorrect outgoing mileage to their benefit. Luckily I caught it before leaving. Do not use these guys!!!

We reserved it the nite before then before time to pick up truck they said they didn’t have truck we reserved they only had a 10 ft box truck so we had to make a lot extra trips it’s says when u reserve a truck online that if the truck is not there the one u reserve they will give u back 50$ so we will see if they stand behind there word

I was able to turn i. The truck. But they had issues with the software. So it took a little longer than usual. The atmosphere was not friendly there.

The entire experience was exceptional. He was extremely helpful, right down to getting me a bandaid. The location was ideal for downtown use. I definitely recommend!
