I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the location I rented the truck. They took me money and sent me out the door. I never read or signed an agreement form. I told the rental was charged 43,00 $. Then after I left and the location was closed I received a message that I only had the truck for 3 hours our I will have additional charges. I call and stated I feel I was set up for a bait and switch scheme. I was informed that they understand and I would not have any additional changes. When I looked at my account I was charged another 40,00 $. I call and informed the representative how disappointed I was. I was told they would address my concerns to the regional manager and I could expect a call. I never received a call. I was lied to about not being charged additional money. I was lied to about having a manager call me. So my experience was one of the worst I have ever encountered when doing business with any company. I I.ROBERT M.

The trailer was not properly connected. The chains and the cable were hanging on the ground while driving and cause 1 signal light were not working and this is dangerous. We have to go to a U-Haul dealer on the way to CO to get the cable switch.MING C.

The parking for trailers is very difficult to get out of and back into. I ordered packing blankets and was told they were in the trailer. When we got to our destination there were no packing blankets. We were an hour from the rental location so we tried to find some material to protect the furniture from rubbing but when we got to our house it had rubbed on the hutch so now I've got to fix that. When we returned the trailer they were closed so we used the online return and noted that we did not receive the packing pads. We also called the number for the location and spoke to a young man that said we wouldn't get charged but we did. This is the 3rd trailer we've rented this year and by far the worst experience.Jonathan H.

The young man did end up eventually cleaning the truck cuz I asked him to it was dirty inside just had to wipe off some things. Now making contact with anyone in that office was very hard. I did Express my disappointment concerning that and the young Personnel was very apologetic concerning it and he handled things fairly I would like to personally thank him again . thank you for your service.Denise D.

I chose Truck Share 24/7 to pick up my truck at 6am Saturday. The pickup was a total mess. First I ordered a 20' truck. All my emails and confirmations indicated such. When I logged in to the app to pickup it had an error that I was not authorized to use for pickup. I also noted it had been changed to a 17' truck. I phoned the U-Haul number and it took over 50 minutes before I got an agent to speak with. The agent was able to give the app access and change it back to a 20' truck. So I continued with online pick up. I chatted with the verification agent and noted that there was not furniture dolly and they said the would note that. Yet I was still charged the the dolly. When I got the keys from the lockbox they did not fit the truck. I could call back and wait for another hour but since it was about 7:50am and 10 minutes before the location opened. Now 2 hours after the 6am pickup time I spoke the the person at the location and was able to exchange the keys for the correct truck. So some of the errors were: 1. My account was not allowed for online pickup 2. U-haul support to get my truck took over 50 minutes to answer 3. Truck was changed from 20' to 17' truck without notification. 4. Wrong keys were supplied for the truck I rented. Major FAIL by U-HaulSean M.

Elle Event Rentals did a good job under the circumstances. U-haul can improve EVERYTHING for the next customer. Reservation not ready and no communication even though the rental store contacted the main office. During my search for a replacement, the agent who answered the phone didn't provide a solution and was supposed to send an email but didn't. I had to call around myself to find things out. Received trailer at same location a day late - same location so no reservation guarantee. I had the tire fixed myself because I had to get on the road so no tire repair reimbursement. I placed a ticket to have it reviewed and the manager left a message but would not answer a return call and his inbox is full so no voice message possible. No one bothered to resolve my ticket. Anybody can provide a service. Question is how it gets handled when there's an issue. U-haul failed completely in my experience.Gary B.

At first it was a little confusing on where to go to get the keys due to it being a small sign out front but once I got with a rep inside everything ran smoothly!SYMONE LASHAY C.
I was charged for 25 gallons of fuel after returning the truck with twice as much fuel as I received it with. The utility dolly/furniture movers that I requested were not available at the pick up location. i'm afraid that if I had picked up before business hours as I had planned, that these items would have been part of my contract and I would have had to pay for them. The person at the store changed my contract multiple times between one-way and in town until I was confused with what I was even getting. I drove enough miles that the other plan probably would have been more economical for me (0,40 $/mile instead of 0,99 $/mile). In order to try to made up for not having the requested items ready for pickup, the representative offered to waive charges for the furniture pads, but those were on my contract and I ended up having to pay for them. This experience has definitely made me think twice about using UHaul in the future or recommending you to anyone else.Daniel S.

The entire reservation process with this vendor was a nightmare and I would never use them or recommend them again. The truck was originally booked at an E location and was switched to this location. We booked it for first thing in the morning to try to get an early start. Because we didn't get there till 730 they timed out our reservation and we had to start over because of the physical location the drivers license and credit card would not update properly then they timed us out a second time then the only truck that was visible was a 10 foot truck we called the owners didn't answer any of the numbers that they had listed for them and then we finally got a hold of a regional person who told us that was a 10 foot truck that had to stay in Houston so we had to drive her to college station and back. That was unacceptable we called another U-Haul person that person called every phone number they could for L Reno and no one bothered to answer the phone. I don't understand how someone in this business doesn't have a night or emergency number. We then got a regional U-Haul person on the phone who was amazing and helped us and was able to redo our reservation for the third time and told us that the trucks were hidden in the back of the warehouse so we finally found the truck when we obtain the key the key was the wrong key for the wrong truck so she directed us to another truck which happened to work. In the end the customer service person at U-Haul was amazing however we wasted two hours in the morning and my new college daughter was hysterical crying and my ex-wife was screaming on the phone because the process was such a mess. I would never ever rent from this location or recommend this location again. and I'm gonna wonder if anyone from L rental will ever call and apologize to us.Andrew P.
I requested to have a furniture dolly and a utility dolly in addition to my truck and furniture pad rental. I then received confirmation that my whole order was ready for pickup over 24 hours before pickup. When I arrived I was told that the dollies that I had requested were not available. I was given no heads up and had to go pick up dollies from a different location. I would recommend that other location instead of this oneTrevor H.

We booked our reservation and were called the day of being told the equipment wasn't available and we had to drive 40 minutes to pick it up elsewhere. We arrived there to be told the furniture dolly wasn't abaiable and we had to pick it up elsewhere. So after two stops and being 40 minutes out of the way we had our stuff. We were them given Incorrect drop off info and had to make 3 phone calls to get it sorted. This was the most chaotic experience from start to finish.JUSTIN R.
