Receptionist was very nice and explained everything to me as I haven't rented a truck in many years. Quick and easy turn in too.

lynnette B.The Rental truck was fine and dependable for what we needed. The rest of the process was very frustrating. We were never successful with logging into your website - even after changing passwords and multiple attempts. We rented our truck at a location that did not have any employees to coach us through what we needed to do - 24/7 rental. Since we couldn't log into the website, we couldn't get any answers or directions as to how to get the truck or what was needed when we got there. We wasted approx 1,5 hours in the cold trying to figure out how to access our truck. When we finally got ahold of Jeremy Laughlin - who is responsible for the site we rented from, he was very short tempered. The attitude and lack of urgency was not appreciated at all. The site we rented the truck from did not have a lock box that was appropriately used - keys were just out for anyone to take - unlocked. Since we started later in the day than expected, i called uhaul back and asked for a later extension on the time we were due to drop off the truck. the lady i spoke with stated that we can just keep the truck for an extra day at no charge. this was really nice until we were charged for that day on our final invoice. so we had to take time to dispute those charges. Also, when renting the truck, it said approx cost was $54 dollars - rental price of 39.99, plus $15 insurance fee which was fine. The website initially asked me where the truck would be traveling to and from - Lewisberry to mechanicsburg - approx 15 miles. Our final cost turned out to be over $100? When we spoke to Jeremy he said that the website automatically calculated the distance and mileage - but said that it noted that between Lewisberry and Mechancisburg it was 40 miles? This message is long and bogged down with annoying details, but thats how we felt during the whole process of accessing and dealing with certain employees at your company. Everything is done through your website which would be great if it actually worked for us. The only saving grace for us was working with John in New Cumberland. Would prefer to NEVER rent from uhaul again, but if its our only option, I would only work with John. Would not recommend uhaul to anyone who asked .
Garett T.UHaul reservations website had issues. Took several attempts to confirm reservation of truck. Site continuously reverted me back to another location. Upon pick up, site failed to respond for confirmation. Attendant was polite and very helpful. Guided me through the process Of on-line pickup.

DAVID R.I paid for a regular hand dolley as I don't have one. There was no dolley on the truck which made moving very difficult. I should get what I paid for. There was an appliance dolley near the lock box. I took one but it was very difficult to use with just boxes. Work on providing hand trucks that customers paid for. Not happy about that. Merci.

Roger S.I called this location directly and was told their trailer was unavailable. I called a different location and was redirected to uhaul's main line where they told me the ORIGINAL place did in fact have a trailer available. When I showed up to get the uhaul, the shop was closed for the day(Friday at 11am). Luckily there was a guy working on a car who knew who to call and got me in touch with uhaul. I ultimately got my dolly, and the woman who helped me was very friendly, but it was not the normal uhaul experience that I am accustomed to receiving.

MICHAEL L.They did not have the blankets in the truck. I had to drive to u-haul center in Mechanicsburg to get some. Trying to use the on line app was terrible. Will NEVER rent with U-Haul again. Customer service was worst I have ever had to deal with.

Jason S.App didn't work. We were there for about 90 minutes trying to get app to work to pick up keys for U-Haul truck. We called U-Haul, were disconnected twice. Finally transferred and actually spoke to someone that could help us. In defense of the pickup of the Truck, the Owner of the establishment did give us her home phone number if we had any trouble the next day, but we lost her phone number. It was very frustrating with people waiting at the house to load truck. We were to pick up at 7:30 AM, we were there at 7:00 AM, returned to with truck to pack about 8:50 AM. Very frustrating!

CORY C.My whole UHaul experience was a complete disaster. The truck was not at my pickup location that I ordered. I had to run somewhere else to pick it up. I was told I could drop off anywhere and went to the closest location only to find out I was to drop off at a different location. Fuel was 1/4 tank lower than I picked it up and they charged me an additional 16,2 to put fuel in after all the extra running around that they caused me. I wish someone from uhaul would call me but they won't

Since it was nearly impossible for me to judge 7/8 of a tank I filled it, which cost me $35 when I "may" have got by with $20 - $25 dollars. I felt this was unfair but better than what uhaul would have charged me if I didn't fill it up to exactly that point.
