The location wasn't the easiest to pull in to for drop off. And it's not a dedicated U-Haul location so we simply drop the keys and they send an email later. But it was close enough to our new home so it worked out.

I wasn't provided the dolly or blankets I paid for. The truck had dirty tissues and other trash in it. It also was slow to start, probably needs maintenance.

BETH FI can't pick up my truck and no one is answering my questions. I have depended on this truck rental and now am being told that I can't get the truck dispatched to me due to "restrictions on my license", but I've rented many many uhauls before without any issues.

Joseph EThe location itself that had the equiptment was good. What was not good was the fact that the first location I was booked at DID NOT have the U-haul when I showed up. I arrived to find an empty office, and had to scramble and call online to try to find another location under time preassure. Unless I am mistaken, I believe that your policy indicates that you refund customers when they show up and the location does not have the equiptment. When I called customer service, the person I was transfered to (not the inital woman I spoke to, who was nice), was extremely rude and unpleasent. If you are able to pull up the phone conversation we had, you should find issue with it, and understand what I am talking about.

john bvehicle had heavy interior smoking smell. also, i didn't get to accomplish my task because it was pouring down rain. I tried to add to the 8 hr rental to have more time but it wouldn't allow it because it said another family was needing the vehicle which was bullshit because i returned it around qam and went by the location in the morning and the the damn truck had not moved from where i parked so BAD COMPUTER Customer SERVICE. I would desire a full refund

Craig WThere was no assistance available to help me connect the trailer safely to my car. There was only one person in the store and had no knowledge or experience connecting trailers to vehicles. Asked me if I knew how to do it. Fortunately I did but had I not, this would have been a complete bust. I don't know how this person would have serviced equipment and still done their job waiting on convenience store customers at the same time, since they were the only person in the store.
Frank WTurned the truck in Friday afternoon. Clerk said he would email me shortly. The next day I called back and spoke with someone different. She didn't know there was a truck waiting to be return processed. Anyway, she found it in the lot but the guy from the night didn't do anything with it. I left the truck unlocked for him and the piano dolly and blankets in back. Glad they were still there.

Chris WOwner of this location was stellar. Before my arrival a severe thunder and lighting storm passed through the area which shut down the internet for all local area businesses. I traveled to NC to purchase a car from a personal owner and needed a car dolly to transport home. I had no prior reservation for the car dolly. Owner just used his cell phone to conduct the transaction without skipping a beat. I was in an out in all of 10 minutes. Others may complain of the look of the store/gas station, however, I found it quite quaint and reminiscent of a bygone era where the emphasis was on customer service rather than shinny and useless accouterments and manicured concrete. Cashier was very courteous and greeted all who entered in a pleasant manner. The owner should be commended for his customer service skills, as well as his employees, operating under not ideal and sudden circumstances. It was a pleasure to conduct business with this store.
Patrick FRepresentative was friendly but I was charged for a Dolly that I reserved but did not come included and I was told I would not be charged for it. However, in my bill it is charged. I hope to get a refund for the dolly. The representative told me I would not be charged.

Kristina HFirst of all, this location is a gas station / convenience store. I was left with a strong impression that the U-Haul portion of the business is an after-thought, at best. Parking for trailer drop-off was not readily available. I had to move a couple of other trailers by hand in order to create a space to back in the rented trailer. Further more, I received a bill for $124 for 4-day late turn-in. In FACT, I turned the trailer in after 32 HOURS of the initial rental (less than 2 of the allocated 4 days). I speculate the receiving location did not process the paperwork for 6 days AFTER turn-in. My advice if returning equipment in Wilmington, it would serve you well to return equipment to the larger single-business U-Haul location on Market St.

Eric TMoving blankets were soaking wet. Uhaul was not clean - cab was covered in dog hair and smelled like urine. Gas level on contract was a quarter tank higher than the gas level in the truck.
Athena KThe location was fine. UHaul however gouged me on the fuel. I filled it up to 1/4, but they are charging for 6 gallons plus a fuel refilling fee, this is ridiculous!
Corey TSome of these “Neighborhood” locations are a little dodgy looking, but this particular little convenience store was only a minute from our destination, and the fellow there was very helpful in checking us in. Was on my way pretty quickly, e-mail receipt showing the completed return in hand.
