The cabin of the truck smelled like someone had been smoking in there for years not just once. I wiped down the seats and steering wheel with disinfectant wipes and they were filthy. The box of the truck smelled like farm animals were transported in it. The engine light went on halfway through my 500 mile drive. Oil was low and I realized the gear shift was kicking when slowing down as well so something was going on with the transmission. Needless to say I made it to my destination but not with confidence. There was obviously a neglect of maintenance with the vehicle. I will use another rental company next time.

Leonard BThe hitch is heavy and it would be sooo helpful to have a hand cranked lift like on most utility trailers. I could not disconnect the trailer from my truck due to the strength needed to lift the hitch off the ball.

brenda HI reserved the trailer for TIMBERLAKE U-haul which was 5 minutes for where I needed it! Only to get an e-mail the night before telling me I now have to go 20 minutes down the road(the way I will travel home) and then go back and get the car I was towing! The guy at Falwell airport was friendly and helpful.. after hooking trailer up only to find out a turning light wouldn't work he got me squared away with another one. Total time wasted in driving and getting trailer..1 hour.
mike wThis was our second attempt to drop off. The first location (Park Street, Lynchburg) wasn't helpful at all. They were filled and simply sent us on our way. Met us when we pulled in and said, "We don't have any room, take it over to …. Falwell Airport". So, we did. I'm sure they can't be to blame because they were full and no space to part the return. After 10 hrs. Traveling, it wasn't the welcome I was hoping for. Just all part of the day!

Dorit NVery old (and abused) 5x8 trailer in poor shape. Door "lock" failed and allowed door to open in transit; lesson learned - door needs to be locked for more than just anti-theft.

Kevin TThe drop location is a great business. Just don't trust uhaul to care about you as a customer. Their moto is to let the customer solve uhaul's problems of not having reserved equipment at the location you chose to pick it up from.

We NEEDED to speak to them and it took hours of calling and chatting with Uhaul to get a phone number for them. Once I finally spoke to someone he was very nice, but they need to answer their uhaul line!

Cynthia TTruck tires looked worn and needed replacement. Truck also feels like wheel alignment is off.. some fishtailing. Rep. Actually followed me for about 5 or 6miles becuz he noticed some pull. Checked it and then followed me another 3 or 4 miles to make sure it was ok. Great rep!

Rachel WStaff wasn't very helpful in terms of teaching how to hitch/unhitch. Tried calling several times to make an appointment to pre-check the vehicle as well as to evaluate what hitch ball/receiver tube height I would need. Never answered the phone. Stopped by several days in advance to see if someone could give me the information, and staff was barely willing to help or give me any information. Had to google what height I would need and go to a separate shop to get the right riser. Day of they did however, quickly attach the trailer for me and check in was smooth. Novice trailer renters beware.
Victoria RWhen I went to pick up at this location there were special circumstances for my reservation. The person onsite seemed unknowledgeable, but understandable since they were still going through training. What made my rental from this location 1 Star was cause there was undocumented damage to the truck and undocumented milage. The undocumented milage would indicate that the pickup facility used the truck for their own purposes. Then they tried to make the charge to me with milage and fuel surcharge. Thank goodness for Shaun B. Who worked for UHaul customer service correcting the pickup facilities shinanogans. If picking up from this location would recommend to take photo of milage before and after to ensure everything is accurate.
