I had scheduled my pick up Sunday November 10 at 7:30Am. I was picking up a 10' truck, I go to the store manager at 730 on time and he tells me he has an issue with the employee that she's coming in late. I go get breakfast come back at 8 cause that's when he told me to come back, I had to wait another 30 minutes for him to actually get on the phone and call the person. No one else is able to do the transaction except this person that hadn't shown up for work. Wasted my morning, everything how I had set up my day because they didn't have someone to work the counter. On top of that, the truck was messy with water bottles and even paperwork of the last person that used the truck cause it wasn't clean.

SAM DWe had a pick-up at 8:00am. Nobody was there to help us. It was a Spanish supermarket and the communication was horrible. One of the workers (she was working the cash register was helping us, but it was difficult communication, she did try). The manager could have cared less. Never made eye contact with us when we were asking for help, he would walk away from us. The whole experience was frustrating.

SAMUEL EThe location being in Brentwood had to be my biggest gripe with it overall. The equipment was immaculate, and the staff were friendly. But the traffic patterns in that area were a mistake to the degree of choosing to drive a passenger ship through u-boat patrolled waters. I don't think I've ever had a worse time trying to get to a building in my life. I love this company, and I've had nothing but positive experiences to do with everything from renting, to operating the machines you have. But good lord, please don't recommend I set foot in Brentwood again. I'd rather drive 30 extra miles each way than go through that railroad crossing a second time.

Nicholas NMy truck wasn't available I had to get downgrade to a 10 foot box truck only good thing it was the manager gave me a discount on the miles but overall the truck was so dirty you could barely see through the front windshield and also inside the vehicle was very dirty. I will probably not be renting from that store again.

LUAKA MBeen doing this for 10 - 12 months each week ( 4 days in a raw ) never had a gift from U-haul, never had a free mileage and thank you for that. I will definitely find another rental more convenient for me….ENTERPRISE maybe might be better at recognizing my record. Merci.
BOUBACAR AThey really helped me when I was long time waiting over the phone except but Mrs. Miriam she tried the best she could but she couldn't solve my problem about the location and transfer me and the other representative answered me but they make me wait for long time and hang up. But the employee the from 700 Suffolk Ave location was great.
Martha CI was there at 9 am but the lady in charge doesn't come in until 10 am so a worker from the supermarket did the checkout and he knew so little about the rental that I ended up renting only the pick up truck but the transporter I had to get it from another store. Mileage was different from the original mileage so I ended up paying extra for the mileage

Bernadine FCheck engine light on, uhaul place didn't have phone scan in, staff barely spoke English, took approx an hour to get truck. Dokey wasn't pre loaded. Truck also made weird mechanical noise during transport that was very loud at times.
Brandon WThe staff here didn't check for the attached chains on my car to the dolly and tried to drive my car off the dolly. When I got the attention of the staff to I gorm him he will damage my car he got out my car you'd the other staff it's not his responsibility to drive the car off the folly but did not acknowledge that its uhaul responsibility to detach the equipment from the vehicle. Because of that interaction he personally discarded my prescription glasses and credit card that I left in the vehicle. I went back the next day to make a complaint and obtain my items they were discarded with 24 hours later.

I drove 2 hrs to Manhattan in 36 degree weather with no heat. I'm a regular uhaul customer and this is the first bad review I'v given
