The online pick up process was difficult to navigate and took us about an hour. By that time we had to restart due to being late for our reservation. It may be helpful to let renters know that they need to have someone with a different last name available to take a phone call when the renter is picking up the vehicle.

Morgan FThis location was not even supposed to be open when I arrived. However the manager came in and helped hook up the trailer and helped maneuver the truck for me. Only complaint was that I did not receive my furniture pads, BUT the guy that helped me even stated he did not normally complete the uhaul transactions.

Timothy MI initially did the reservations on-line for a truck at a location close to me. It was vague that the truck was in a different location than the one requested. There was enough information that I decided to go to the local dealer and he confirmed that the truck I requested was at a different location. I decided to go with a trailer rental at the close location instead and the dealer took care of the switchover. The dealer was helpful through the rental. Satisfied.
James ZThe location itself for the services they provide was absolutely fine. The services they provide for U-Haul was not fine. Our pick up location was changed from where we originally selected and moved to a neighboring city which added an additional 16 miles to our trip. We get to the pick up location (Finishing Touch Auto Sun Prairie, WI) and waited approximately one hour later than our scheduled pick up time due to issues with their payment system. While waiting, they discovered they did not have the appliance dolly we ordered. We then had to go another 6,5 miles to Bristol Motors to pick up the appliance dolly. We are now 1,5 hours past our pick up time and our timeline. We then discover at our first pick up location that THERE IS NO RAMP! No ramp on a moving truck!!! We were given no instructions for returning the vehicle and luckily customer support was helpful. We have been charged an additional $70 for mileage overage because we had to go an additional 28,5 miles because of U- hauls issues. We have been loyal U-Haul customers for years, and with the abundant choice of moving companies available, it will be hard to return after this experience.
Chris RThe furniture pads I had ordered for rental were not in the back of the truck, so I ended up having to go to a U-Haul store to get a refund and purchase far fewer of them for the same price. Ensuring rental equipment is in the vehicles upon customer arrival would be an improvement, since I could have used more furniture pads during the move and won't really use them frequently.

Had to call the 1 800 number from a different phone and a young lady had me use my work email and walked me through the steps to complete the drop off.
