We were to pick up a 15 ft. In Black Diamond , only to find out the day before they did not have a truck there for us …no guarantee of location. This created a lot of problems and inconvenience for us in that UHaul would not bring a truck down to Black Diamond for us. We had to drive into Calgary to the Flying J to pick up the truck. Once at Flying J, the service was excellent and efficient….Very courteous and helpful woman . We were not charged for the extra day . We would recommend this pick up Center, but not trying to pick up in smaller communities unless you are not in time constraints as we were.
Jim HThe windshield and the truck was crack, invincible to drive no windshield fluid, the truck in the box was very dirty with heavy soil. I have to sweep it and mop. It also was some liquid spilled in the box of the truck. I have to clean it before I use it because of the expensive furniture and mattress I have.

Rodney AI ordered a moving coming through your team, the moving company never showed up. Once reaching out to your support they passed me along to their moving devision. Nobody would pick up. I left my # for a call back a few times. Still no returned call. Yes i was refunded in the end 3-5 days but still no help from uhaul. This money we planned for help. This should be refunded right away so i could of chosen another option "It's out of our hands" being third party. Support should be there to assist with the situation.

Joel G**10 out of 10!** This location is always exceptionally well-run, with efficient and friendly service. The staff consistently go above and beyond to provide a personal touch that truly stands out. On one visit, I left a water bottle behind, and they called me just 10 minutes after I left to let me know! Today, I left my phone behind, but before I even left the property, they chased me down to return it! Additionally, my friend recognized the lady who inspected my truck. He'd seen her park trucks before and mentioned her skills are legendary!

Jeffrey LParking area for larger trucks is extremely tight if all spots are full and with curbs directly across. Move smaller units to confined areas and larger units to where no curbs are present.

Gerald DMy reservation was moved to this location last minute. I had reserved two utility dollies in advance, and there was none at this location. The trucks were parked much too close together, that I had to go back in to ask the owner/staff to move the truck, as it was parked so close to another truck that the two truck side mirrors were basically touching. Staff member was nice enough, but not a very convenient location.
Brooklyn HTruck was filthy! Like dangerously dirty! Had to clean the windows and mirrors before driving as could not see. Truck interior was beyond dirty, clearly have not been cleaned in a long while. Mechanically the truck would not pass a roadworthy inspection!
Gordon NThe guy at counter who did the renting first of all made the online truck number different from the physical order which prevented me from doing anything online such as ending the service when dropped off. This was a red flag for his shadiness to start. The truck then broke down before getting to my new home. Coolant leaked all over/overheated. I was delayed hours and had to pay my hired movers overtime for this. Then the shady guy never reached out to me about the refund I'm owed since he charged me $125 previous and cost was only like $90 or so. Instead he mailed it out, which they have my old address. Upon trying to call and talk to him about it he hung up multiple times and haas very poor to no customer service skills whatsoever.

Benjamin MTrailer booked for feb 3 at 12pm not available got it next day at 10 am Truck needed 5 times road side assistance, waited for hours every time for the guys to come and fix Supposed to reach manitoba on 4 feb from Calgary but reached at 11:30pm on 6 feb and still charged for keeping the rental equipment and truck for keeping them extra. First and worst ever experience. Never recommend it for long travels/moving

Robert MThe amount of fuel that is put on the invoice is off. I feel like we got ripped off by U-Haul and it over filled the truck by a quarter tank. I followed the amount of litres of fuel suggested which was 30 litres to get back to the proper amount and it went over by a quarter tank. That was and additional $25 spent on fuel. This is very unprofessional of U-Haul to give these guidelines and to be that far off on the estimation of required fuel and adding such a large addition cost to renting through you. I have always rented U-Haul for a move and after this I am seriously considering not using U-Haul for my next rental, which will be in a month. Being off by that amount for fuel amounts is unacceptable and shows how little you truly care about fair rates to a customer.

When I rented and returned equipment, I was impressed by how efficiently the team worked without making anyone feel left out. Here are two examples of their exceptional customer service: 1. A gentleman returned some equipment dirty. Instead of charging him a fee, he was offered a broom and a dustpan to clean it himself. 2. I left my water bottle at the store, and within an hour, I received a phone call arranging its return. This location boasts one of the largest selections in Calgary. JONNY
Jon PThe app is a bit complicated, and some things are unclear. For example, the app mentioned that there was a black box inside the car with the key, but it turned out the key was actually in the office. Additionally, the steps that need to be reviewed should ideally be done beforehand, not at the moment of check-in.

Carla DMy u haul tire was flat within 10 minutes of hiring the uhaul and I had to wait for 2 hours to get help fixing it. Support team kept on extending the ETA to fix the vehicle and no compensation at all. Really poor service! I had to sit in -15degrees cold weather and that too on the highway

David MShowed up 10 mins prior to rental at 10:00am and no truck in sight. Got keys and had to go searching for the truck. Temperature was -20 and no one felt the need to start the truck and warm it up! Started it and let run for a few mins, then checked exterior and left the depot. Truck had absolutely no heat, and like I said it's -20 + windchill! We absolutely froze to death while on the road. Then we discovered when starting to load that all the lower tie downs inside the box were either completely missing or completely ripped away from the wall! How the hell are you supposed to secure the load with no tie downs! I have rented U hauls a few times over the years, and I can say this was the biggest POS I have ever seen. The way it drove down the road I would say it was not fit to be on the road at all. I would say on a scale of 1-10 this experience would hardly rate 2, and that may be generous!!
