Warren CI was given an initial location on Texas highway 149, 4 mile northwest of Cartage, TX. I was contacted by a man name Mark. I told him I would evaluate my closest location to drop off the truck. When U-Haul was contacted, it was deemed that Foley Rental was the closest. Mark from other location called me irritated that I chose a closer location and demanded that I drop off the truck at his location. My response was "no because I would have to drive further creating more miles, cost, and time. Mark expressed again that I am suppose to drive the truck 4 mile out of Carthage (approximately 8 miles one way further) to his location. I refused, told him I don't work for him nor U-Haul, I don't appreciate his hostility and irritating tone, that the truck can be pickup at Foley. I will never deal with this person or location and will convey to others about this person representing U-Haul. In addition, when I turned the truck in at Foley Rental, I was 5,1 miles over and was charged in spite turning it in a day early, but if I listen to Mark I would have been 11-12 miles over. Overall, pick up and drop off were wonder people and did an excellent job representing U-Haul but I should not have been charged the extra 5,1 miles.

Henry SMaybe provide unlimited miles for your one way rentals instead of giving a set amount of miles for a given move, especially since not everyone lives in the city.

Dennis WStaff should have explained how to fold-away fender on car hauler trailer instead of someone having to climb out the driver's window after loading vehicle. No explanantions were provided. I guess we were expected to know everything about the car-hauler trailer.

Joseph HI have known the Foleys for more than 20 years and they have always given excellent service. All the employees are always very friendly and professional and will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Next time I need a uhaul or any piece of equipment I will definitely check with Foleys Rental first.
John RTruck cab was filthy dirty. The windshield wipers are old and need to be replaced. The cab floor got so hot it melted our food and made our water to hot to drink. The windshield had a crack in it. The tow trailer has no back chain for my Jeep to be secured, the rubber S ring on the front chain was rotted and broken, there was a bolt missing from the left fender. The tow trailer blew a tiire on I10 and left me and my 7-year-old son stranded in the most dangerous place on I10 even the service technician was afraid of getting hit. This was the worst rental experience I've had in my life!!! I will never rent from U-Haul again. I will make sure that everyone I talk to knows what I experienced.
