I returned the truck clean and full of gas. Put the key in the drop box. A day later I received a phone call saying I didn't drop it off.. the police were called on me and then was contacted by a detective asking me if I still had the truck said it was reported stolen!. I've rented other trucks form other companies and have never had 1 complaint! I feel harassed and disrespected. I will probably never use uhaul again nor this location.. they get -5 stars from meTRE M.

The service was what I needed at the time. Thank you for providing 24 hour access. But I would not do it again. I will plan better. I hope sometime soon uhaul streamlines the process. The 24 hour process was what my schedule dictated. The process was rather tedious, yet understandable. It was cheaper for my merchandise to be expedited. The drop off: I was alone after dark in a very uncomfortable and dark area. Wish I could add pictures. It needs light and a clear view, eliminate the shrubs and trees and maybe add lights and cameras for safety. I did not feel safe at the time of drop off, after dark. I had to use the lights on my car to see TRY to see. Make us feel safer... PLEASE. THANK YOUJeanette E.

I rented a 15' U-Haul truck with cat tow at 930am on July 31st in Arlington Texas. The representative recommended to take the truck, load and return for the car tow so it would not be in the way. We agreed. Upon returning at 330pm, it was discovered that the truck wiring was defective. We were on hold with uhaul for an hour and told a mechanic would be coming to see if he could fix it. 90 minutes later he showed and call me to advised he was there working. An hour later I drive over to check on the status. Mechanic was gone and did not call me back. I had his number saved and called him. He advised it couldn't be fixed. My husband and I had to transfer ALL our belongings to another 15' Uhaul truck and finally load our car. We weren't done until 9pm or so! I had to be out of my condo on the 31st so we had to leave at 3am to allow the new tenants to move in. Due to the timing we could not arrive in Amarillo by 10pm to meet new landlord. He went out of town so we had to drive into Lubbock to stay with family until his return Saturday. Well we were to return the truck Sat at 9am. We observe the Sabbath from Fri sundown to Sat sundown. Finally Tabius, district manager (I believe) called me. He promised the extra miles and day would be refunded. He also promised we would be refunded for moving from truck to new truck. He now will not explain the refund. I don't have the money to pay all of this outright and wait for refund. I have a new home deposit and rent with utility deposits to pay. I've been in tears and filled with anxiety from day one of dealing with this. I need someone to help me! Customer service is horrible. I've been on hold several times for over an hour with no one returning to speak with me.sherry H.

The employee that was checking me in was very unprofessional, making a lot of jokes and asking unnecessary personal questions. When I asked about the discount I should be receiving for returning to a different location, he told me that would occur when I returned the truck and trailer.He then went out and hooked up a car hauler to the truck and told me it was good to go. When I attempted to pull my car on to the car hauler, the front of the trailer came off the hitch ball and flew up in the air. He had failed to tighten the retaining nut on the car hauler. Prior to returning the truck, I called uhaul customer service and they advised he was wrong and the discount should have been applied then. When I returned the truck they again told me he was wrong and they would fix the problem.JAMIL B.

The truck was pulling on one side, caused me soreness in my arms and legs shoulder. Also they did not accept paper copy of driver license of a cdl driver i had with me Also the insurance cost added, almost double the cost for renting that they failed to disclosed when i reserved. Upon returning my trailer at this location, the male I spoke with stated he thought I paid too much for a one day rental. Several people I have talked to stated they have not paid that much -222,32 $ for a one day/one way rental trailer from U-Haul. I've attempted to contact customer service several times in regards to this matter to no avail. I would hope that someone from U-Haul would contact me to get this matter resolved.Mark F.

Apparently the 2nd location does't operate on Sunday's & the system re-assigned me to pickup the rental at this alternate location w/out notification. Luckily there was a person onsite on his day off that assisted me & expedited the rental. Kudos to that person. However, since the location doesn't operate on sunday, i either had to gamble of returning the trailer outside where it could be vandalized or stolen. My only option was to take the trailer home & return it the next day morning. I was then reminded that i had to return it at 8:30 or else i had to be charged for 2 days. I had to take off work for a few hours just for this. this has been a frustrating, inconvenient experience & inefficient of uhaul resourcesJORY B.

Trailer was marked do not rent because of graffiti. Took 30 minutes to clear trailer for rental. Location is closed on Sunday. I was told to take to their other location about 3 miles away (Forever young record store). Other location wanted to charge me double because I did not drop trailer where I picked it up.. U-Haul customer service was very rude to me and would not waive extra charge. And told me if I dropped trailer were I picked it up and it was stolen I would be charged. I wasted over an hour trying to give you back your equipment. I will think twice before I consider U-Haul again.DAVID B.

Your new system of renting trucks without staff present is NOT yet ready for public consumption and it cost me an additional 2 hours of mover invoicing. You should let customers know ahead of time that you're going to need to authenticate via phone call verifications to others... especially when you plan on making those calls at 7am on a Saturday morning. What a joke. I will never use Uhaul again. P.S. You desperately need to look into hiring a UX consulting firm to help you get your entire system, online presence, customer experience together. It's awful. Terrible. Join the 21st century and invest in the processes that matter.Richard G.
