Older trucks should not be used to drive long distances. Newer trucks would be better suited for long distance driving. We had issues with power steering going out while driving, dashboard cover coming apart while driving,possible leaky passenger window due to water found on inside door panel. Consider having GPS in trucks easier than looking at small cell phone screen.

I'd made a reservation for a location MUCH closer to my home and where I needed it (1.5 miles away). I was charged .79/mile X 35 miles for the extended distance of a revised location U-Haul made. While U-Haul opted to not relocate the truck to the place I rented-from, they still charge me with the added mileage. I shouldn't have to pay the added mileage. Also, they charged me for furniture blankets, which were not staged on the truck. The pick-up location didn't do their job. ,,,and I clearly stated in the app at drop-off they were not provided, but I was still charged. U-Haul has to do better in a competitive market. ...very poor service this time.

I did the online checkin during the reservation. When I arrived everything was ready, the staff greeted me with a smile. Verified my information and guided me to the trailer. The trailer was in good order, pulled well for the 1100 mile journey and gave me no problems.

Filled the Tank to exactly where it was when I picked up truck. Drop off location Highland Shell parked on a hill and or slope. Tried filling tank three times at Highland Shell. I dispute the $10 gas overage bill.

The gentleman who’s job it was to attach the trailer refused to hook it up while it was raining. I had to wait for the rain to die down before he would go out and hitch it. While waiting he told me about how he’s been fired from this job 9 times and he doesn’t care if he gets fired again because it’s not worth it to him to go out in the rain and get sick. I pointed out that it was supposed to rain for the next 3 hours and he literally said he didn’t care. The other staff was nice enough to make coffee while I waited but didn’t offer an alternative to getting me on the road faster. They should let people know when booking for this pick up location, that they will not be hitched in the rain seeing as how Baldwin county sees rain over 100 days of rain per year.

Provide a way to check the rental back in without a smartphone. Maybe print something ahead of time that can be filled out and dropped in with the keys. Some of us don't have smartphones, follow the rules, and need to drop off rentals after hours.

I made a reservation at a different location for a 10 feet truck but it was not available, so I was sent to this area to pick up the truck. The seats and floor was full of pet hair and I requested a cleaner truck. I received a 14 or 15 feet truck and was charged a lot more, from the amount stated when I made the reservation. I am disappointed and dissatisfied with uhaul. I have been using this company for many years, but now I am considering other options.
