The location is situated in a spot which is difficult to locate and have no dedicated spots to park the vehicle. Also, there is not even space for 2 people to stand in at the reservation location. We were waiting outside in cold until the space was free with the previous person leaving. On entering inside, the person asked me click a picture of the driving license to upload and there wasn't even space to place the driver's license to click a picture. The other uHaul locations I have used in the past also had amazing people to help with, but this particular person had no understanding of customer service. Was really a displeasing experience.

He charged me the petrol price more then I used. For 2 points in odometer he charged $55, we can full the petrol tank with that price. Expecting to get refund for extra amount

Also self check in and out process is difficult. Took almost 30 minutes each time in the cold. All the pictures, scanning and info is just too much. I was booked at another location so the info should have been ready. The pick up spot also weird. Could not find it until calling the location. Overall not a good experience.

Uhaul needs a Canadian division. And the app isn't available for Canadians… the website should state this clearly instead of constantly promoting users to download "for a better experience".

Waleed Al-DouriI say the truck was clean but there was a used bottle of water in the cab as well as some scrap papers in the cup holder, Rope left hanging in the back. I decided to clean out myself instead of risking a charge. Not a big deal but shouldn't be my issue! Also each time I've picked up a truck over the last couple years at different locations the actual gas has been less than I have been told it was. 1/2 tan k nearer to 3/8, 1/4 nearer to 1/8, once 1/4 was empty (3 mi to empty on the dash indication). That's not how I want to start any move!

Jamal alrozI was told that the fuel level was left at 1/4 tank when it was actually between 1/8-3/16 which meant I needed gas before beginning my move which I don't like to do. Also I have not received a copy of my invoice/bill as indicated.

AbdulRazaq SamadAlthough the location was okay for me, it may not be good for many people because the pickup of the vehicle is near the back of a mall where there could be an issue of safety. When I returned the vehicle to the drop off point, there were a number of young people gathered there, a few feet away, hanging out, playing music. It would have felt intimidating to park the vehicle, then process the mobile return taking photos all around the vehicle, etc. would have definitely been intimidating if someone returned in the evening and saw a group there.
tony falconeThe pick up location was not too difficult to identify. But the agent/manager at the pick up point was very rude and unprofessional. Firstly, I had to wait at the pick up point for sometime as there was no one present when I went to pick up the vehicle. I had ordered for a utility dolly, but the location did not have one nor cared to inform the customer. When asked for an alternative arrangement he asked me to cancel the reservation if I did not want it, which was not the way to deal with a customer. The vehicle was untidy. I had to remove used water bottles, empty use and throw plates from the drivers deck. And above all these I was overcharged for my mileage. The given rate while booking, and the charged was not the same. The vehicle did serve the purpose but the service was unsatisfactory.

Richard De VeyraThe rental truck was in a pretty BAD shape. It was a rainy day and the one of the wipers came off in the middle of road while driving which is totally DANGEROUS. The truck does not seem to be well maintained, the brakes were so soft that it sometimes feels that the truck may not stop even after braking. I DEMAND MY RENTAL FEE for this truck. If I am paying a rental fee I expect a proper functioning truck which is not what I got.
Justin AntonyrajI came to return the rental around 45 mins after midnight. It was so unsafe. There were miscreants making the rounds continuously while I was taking the innumerable pictures requested by the website. We should be able to upload pics from our phone instead of clicking them directly from the website. It was VERY unsafe and if not for my spouse with me keeping an eye and alerting me to any activity around me I would surely have been mugged or worse. No lighting around the back where the trucks were supposed to be parked. Due to this we ended up parking in the front. One should be able to do the online process for returns in a better way so we can just drop off the keys and get out of there instead of exposing oneself to danger. It's as simple as putting up a camera near the drop box so you can trace the time when someone drops off the key. The truck was a in a very good condition and we had no issues otherwise. The location security needs to be improved.

Both the app and the website would not let me check in (it kept crashing), then I had to call customer service who made me wait on hold for 20 mins and then in the middle of our call it got disconnected. I tried chatting with someone to see if due to all these issues, my reservation would be extended by the half an hour it took to get the keys and they said they couldn't help me. The location where the keys were, was supposed to open at 9am but no one was there to help. I had a homeless guy come up to me and ask for money and considering the location is at the back of a warehouse where no one is early in the morning and I am a female it was a little un nerving, then when I returned the vehicle I had two men come up to me and ask for the keys to the van because they needed to fix a light? I refused to give them the keys because for all I knew, they were going to steal the van. I told them I would put the keys in the drop box and if they were there to fix the light, they would have access to the keys. He wasn't happy but agreed. Again, safety of the pick up location was NOT GOOD for a single female picking up a van. I felt very un safe and I am used to living downtown Toronto for years so if I was scared, I can't imagine other people. That along with the poor customer service and bad online check in, it was a bad experience.

That's no way to run a business. Also, this location office was very small, you could only fit 1 customer at a time

Siqi ZhengThe location is not reflecting the U Hual Mobile app services, the store located in a hidden area, very small sign to direct you to the lock box, I spent 30 minutes between app processing and finding the lock box, returning was very bad service, he asked me to go back to the truck and give him the mileage reading, you feel that no professional costumer service, I don't recommend that location, and no more mobile app, it's not user friendly, specifically if you don't have good tech background.

However, the phone agent was keener on providing a solution. I would have not been able to rent a vehicle via my Debit Mastercard from a major issuing bank, had I not been able to gain a credit card through family lending. This merchant needs to update their systems.

Gopinath RajanThere is a no-smoking sign on the van, however when we did recieve the van there were multiple smoke butts everywhere and the van did smell like cigarettes. The equipment was clean enough, there were a lot of cardboard scraps in the van from previous usage that was not cleaned out. Otherwise the site owner was helpful in organizing this rental.

I called first thing in the morning 9:00 am for a 11:00 am return time with all information and was told I couldn't verify on my own and was subject to a $20 "convenience" fee. Not happy. I've been a very loyal customer and was told sorry there's nothing I can do. I've always looked to Uhaul first, now I guess I'll check my options. Have a rental booked for April 02 but may cancel.
