The truck had a bad shimmy around 90 kmh like the tires were not balanced or the suspension was bent - made me worry a bit. The box was very sandy and dusty and I didn't like how my furniture may be scratched. Everything else good.

Service super courtois.

Very poor storage service and very poor service in Quebec

Could not get fuel to refill the truck as their pumps were closed off for repairs. Nothing noted on website about this. Wanted me to drive 20 mins down the highway to get fuel at my expense of course. Not a very good experience.

Indiquer les dimensions intérieure exactes de la remorque.J'ai loué une remorque ouverte 5' x 9' hier à Gracefield pour me rendre à St-Georges-de-Windsor. C'est 500 kilomètres pour s'y rendre seulement. J'allais prendre une charrue agricole. Il fallait 58" de largeur pour placer la charrue dans la remorque. J'ai cru que cette remorque de 5 pieds (60 pouces) par 9 pieds ferait l'affaire. C'est une fois sur place que je me suis rendu compte que cette remorque n'avait que 56 pouces à l'intérieure. La dimension 5x9 est clairement indiqué sur la remorque. (voir photo jointe) La longueur intérieure est de 9' 1". Mais la largeur intérieure n'est que de 56" et non pas 60". J'ai transporté cette remorque inutilement sur une distance de 1000 km. Je vais devoir parcourir une nouvelle fois cette distance avec une autre remorque. Vous imaginez les frais encourus. J'admet ne pas l'avoir mesurer avant de partir. Mais vous devriez préciser clairement aux clients lors de la location que les dimensions indiquées sur vos remorques sont les dimensions extérieures. Pouvez-vous s'il vous plaît communiquer avec moi rapidement. J'aimerais savoir si je peux avoir un remboursement pour ce contrat. Je vais louer une remorque plus grande et m'assurer cette fois que les dimensions sont les bonnes. Albert Morissette - contrat 00012638

L'entretien des véhicule laisse a désirer. Les essuie glace était usé a tel point qu'il n'avait aucune utilité et rendait la conduite très dangereuse. j'ai due arrêter au Canadian Tire pour acheter de essuie Glace de remplacement afin de pouvoir revenir en sécurité. J'ai par la suite remis les essuie glace d'origine puisque l'on a refusé de me les remboursé. J'ai trouvé cette expérience ordinaire. Merci.

Somewhat uninterested in the whole process.

Firstly, there needs to be something in place for when there is a regional power outage. I didn't realize when I left this site in the U-Haul vehicle that because I didn't have a copy of the contract, I had no proof of insurance or ownership. Secondly, as soon as I turned on the engine, the TPMS system warned me that the right front tire was low on air, and it took me about five minutes and the air pump fee to inflate the tire to the correct pressure.

Mauvaise communication entre nous.Moi, j'avais demandé de louer une van, et c'est ce que je pensais avoir. C'est peut-être ma façon de m'exprimer qui n'était pas clair. Je n'avais pas besoin d'un camion si grand. Quand, je suis arrivé sur place, je n'avais pas le choix de prendre un plus gros camion.

If UHaul rep is not there then have a procedure for location owner or at least a drop box to put contract.

I was originally supposed to pick up the truck on The Kingsway, but when I got there, no trucks were available. I had to drive to the other end of Peterborough on Chemong to get one. When I got there I was told they had no truck for me!!! After about 1/2 hour a truck came back, the size I had ordered , then I had to wait almost an hour before I could be on my way. This location is a very busy gas station and the staff were just too busy to handle both the gas pumps and the U-Haul counter. When I was there, there was a young woman waiting for her truck which was supposed to be ready for pick up at 9:00am, it was 5:00pm at the time. She was very upset and tearry. The truck size that she wanted was not available so she had to take a smaller one and they were going to put a trailer on it to make up the difference. She was told to come back in 2 hours. That was a 10 hour wait for her to get her truck. That is not very good service especially when you make a reservation way ahead of time!!! Not sure what can be done to improve your service but something certainly needs to be done.

The office was closed when I returned the truck, so I can't really comment on it. The gas station attendant was helpful.

Booking centrally on the phone was not very satisfactory. At the time of booking your agent was unable to tell me whether it would be possible for me to collect a trailer from any of the Peterborouogh locations when I required one. I was told that I would be phoned the day before to confirm where a trailer would be available and if one was not available at a convenient location I would be able to cancel at no charge, but obviously I'd also have no trailer. It makes planning for moving very difficult and uncertain. i have booked a truck for the coming weekend but this time I booked directly with the location.

I had never been to Peterborough and unless you know your way around it would be easy to get lost. Maybe you could mention it's part of the gas station on a corner as NONE of the establishments have a number visable and unless you have pulled in you have no idea it's a u-haul location, an address is completely useless for someone without GPS.

ask more questions an give back money if you dont use all the gas , because you are not used to driving such a vehicle I lost at least 30$ other than that having a large truck to move your stuff makes moving a more enjoyable event

Very friendly. Perhaps offer a car service to return home? I dropped off the truck and then called a cab.

The truck had 7/8 of a tank of gas in it. It is next to impossible for a customer to refill to 7/8 of a tank. I ended up filling the tank. Sending the trucks out with a full tank of gas would make the refill easier for the customer. No guess work.
