I had an 8:00 AM appointment and the shop didn't open until after 8:20 even though they were supposed to open at 8:00. The phone number for the place went to voicemail as well.

Absolutely a great place
Marvin MGeorge Hatley was very rude, arrogant, and unpleasant to deal with. He refused to speak with Austin at the rental pick up location (Beane Outdoor Structures - Concord, NC) about the rental. He would not return Austin's calls. Austin searched several ways for us to return the truck trying to find the best price for us. In doing so, the rental agreement was incorrect. I paid $317,55 to rent a 26' truck for 3 days (picked up on Friday 3/1/24 @ 4:34 pm in Concord, NC and return on 3/4/24 by 4:34 pm in Oakboro, NC) and 100 miles plus $.40/mile for overages. We returned the truck a day early on Sunday 3/3/24 @ 6:05 pm. George left a voice message saying it was urgent to call him about late drop off and we owed him another $200 plus ($80 for being late 2 days to drop off and 111,1 miles over 30 miles @ $1/mile plus taxes). I tried to explain to him we were not late, we were early and what our contract said but he refused to listen or speak with Austin. Then he charged me $49,33 saying that was the best he could do. The only thing I should have paid was 41,1 miles over the 100 paid for @ $.40 = $16,44 + tax (even though we left 3/4 tank of gas worth $50 when the truck only had 1/2 tank on pick up). I do not recommend Georges Towing for any type of service unless you like being taken advantage of.

Rodney LI strongly suggest making reservations through U-Haul prior to pick up. I called directly and was quoted double the price than U-Haul charged for the exact same unit.

So they helped us out beyond our expectation. They had what we needed and we rented it out with no problem. I would definitely recommend them and will come back again.

We had movers coming at noon. Barry piddled around in his junky tow operation for forty five minutes after we returned the second time. Inconsiderate sloth.

Daryl CGeorge's said truck was full at pickup, we took a pic of gauges & mileage at start. Once we had refueled and turn the truck in George's contacted me stating I didn't fill the truck back up before returning. My mileage reported was accurate, the fuel gauge was them same after refueling as a pickup. The owner contacted me multiple times by phone and text - complaining that we hadn't refueled - then I sent him the pic from the start showing the tank not full. Once he received the pic I didn't hear back from George's. This was horrible treatment and shame on the owner for trying to be sneaky. Good truck - poor customer service. definitely will not go back!

Neilson RIf I could give this location no stars, I would. One star is too good for this lender. The lender at this location was very unhelpful and was more concerned with going to an auction instead of helping a PAYING customer. Tried to get my to change my pick up time from 0930 to 0800. Whenever I told him many times that I would try but I didn't think I'd be able too because I was coming from out of state to pick up the truck. Also, the truck was disgusting whenever picked it up. Dirt and mud everywhere inside the truck, so disappointing. So this location and experience was terrible and I would never recommend this location to anyone needing U-Haul service.
Michael BThey don't answer the phone as a Uhaul service center. When I would ask a question, I was told to "Just go online and pick your location"- no customer service skills at ALL. The truck was clean? and had no mechanical problems, so that was nice.
