I hope we never, ever have to use U-Haul again. 3 out of 3 rentals in the past 10 years has been an absolute fiasco. The latest was a 15 foot truck which had NO OIL! Luckily my husband knows a thing or 2 about cars/trucks and noticed right away something was wrong with the engine and luckily he checked....Yep, NO OIL at all. Even after he put in 2 quarts the dipstick read just below 1/2 full. The great people at the U-Haul location reimbursed us for the oil and apologized for the incident. The 2 U-Haul times before this latest one were also horrible because of inept, lousy servicing. What is wrong with you, U-Haul? Why can't you keep your trucks serviced?

Truck was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Exhaust sounds broken between engine and muffler, very loud and possible safety issue.

I made a reservation a month in advance to pick up a 26 foot truck from the Everett Washington location. I was told the day before that I would have to drive 40 minutes north to Mount Vernon to pick up the truck. When I got there I was told I had to now drive to Monroe, 50 minutes away to pick up the truck. When I got to Monroe, instead of a 26 foot truck I was only given a 20 foot truck. My reservation was a one way trip to Texas since I was moving and all my stuff did not fit in the 20 foot truck. I had to pay an addition $2 000 to also rent a trailer to pull behind the truck and even then not all my stuff fit

Tell them to not trust any U-Haul personal not to rip you off. My bill came out to double of the estimate and I was actually under the estimated miles.

improve the app. It delayed us an hour at pick up and another hour when we returned. We have also been charged more than we should have been, and customer service is no help. I will not be using U-Haul in the future.

I drove 22 miles. I put 2,3 gallons of gas back in before returning it. It was at the same level as when I took it out. But they still charged me $12 for gas. And $9 for a ‘rental fee'. Very disappointing. I am a longtime user.

I reserved a truck on Thursday. The guy messed up my reservation. On Saturday morning I didn't have the truck I needed. The U-haul rep said I couldn't get the size I needed nothing available. I had to go to Everett to pick up a smaller truck and return the truck to Everett. I live in Goldbar. My daughter ended up getting online finding a cargo van in Monroe we reserved it. When we went to pick it up the storage place had a cancellation and I got the truck I originally needed. No thanks to U-haul employees. They could see where I had called to reserve didn't offer anything to accommodate me for miles I had to pay for for having to drive extra miles and staff was rude. Horrible experience!!! This was the most convenient process ever! To be able to pick up the truck in town and be able to get access to the truck before the office opened was awesome. The entire process was smooth and I would recommend this site 100 %.

The owners of this establishment are top notch. They were incredibly kind to us while we worked with Uhaul customer service regarding our account being on hold and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while we figured it out. We were on the road in no time.

This location and personnel were amazing. My complaint would be with Uhaul corporate/scheduling. It is stressful to move and organize a move. I found it EXTREMELY frustrating that the Uhaul website allows you to schedule a day and time you would like to pick up, yet the day before they "confirm" the time, the time was several hours different. I would suggest not adding a time of requested pick up, or giving a small window of time to select from. 4,5 hours later than expected really put a wrench in the whole day.

Our booking was all messed up at this place. We reserved online, and selected self check out, but this place insisted on doing it for us. They messed up the return location and dates, and overcharged us!!

The truck was not well maintained- while driving the driver side mirror spontaneously fell off creating a safety hazard as my visibility was greatly reduced while driving. Thankfully I had purchased the damage insurance, but it shouldn't have been needed as the damage wasn't a result of an impact or accident - the mirror simply fell off on its own accord. I likely won't rent a U Haul truck again.

Truck can was dirty when picked up. Doesn't seem like they could have done any CoVid disinfecting process if the cab was that dirty.

I would just be certain to take the time to go over the vehicle with the customer upon rental and return as well as provide a receipt at that time, not just via email. If there were any disputes to be made, the leasing agents would not have credible accounts if not done so at the time of the vehicle's return.

When I received the Uhaul the interior of the cab had dirt throughout and on the seats themselves. There were still used moving blankets in the storage area as well. The truck itself had not been cleaned inside or out before I got it. Upon return I got the bill for $406,46 which was accurate. The next day I checked my account and I had an additional charge for $167.09. I called Glacier West Self Storage for clarification of what the additional charge was and the representative proceeded to tell me that she was just a "lowly worker at the bottom" and "she was not able to help me and couldn't figure out what the charge was for". She gave me the U-Haul Customer Service number to call and the U-Haul representative was also not able to tell me what the charge was for. All they could do was send an inquiry to the location manager. I would like this issue resolved and clarification on why I got charged an additional $167.09.
