I got an email stating that I was in the truck share program but not at the location. They had to do that again when i was there.

Terrible experience! Booked at a main uhaul and 1 day before they called me and sent me to a different location which was a run down Gas station. I get there and have to call to speak to a rep. No one there actually worked for Uhaul. Upon picking up they didn't even give me the dolly or the pads that I had paid or requested. Instead behind the gas station was a dirt lot where they threw all the dollys and one guy picked on up under a bunch of trash/ cardboard. Then they informed me they didn't have any pads and that I had to go to another location. Which I didn't because I was pressed for time and not going to another location. Then I get the uhaul and the truck is almost fully empty! No heads or anything. And upon opening the truck it was absolutely trashed, Dust, particles and leaves everywhere. THey probably just had someone drop it off. I had to clean it myself. Expected a lot more from a company like Uhaul but was severely disappointed. Also when I talked to the guy on the phone, no apology just said "Oh we gave you a couple extra miles" you need to call the line. Terrible customer service especially because I've used them in the past and had a decent experience. Seems like it all went downhill after the pandemic.

I submitted my reservation for 5 am the guy was there then I had to wait a hour for the key. I got the vehicle then switched to a smaller vehicle when we got the Silverado it was dirty inside nasty smell . There was dents on each side of the vehicle. I extended then the guy texted me and threatened me that he will be report the vehicle stolen. Would not recommend

It is wonderful to have a 24/7 location. The neighborhood dictates that the gas station attendant be secured behind thick glass. Understandable, but hard to communicate. When it came time to drop off, the attendant left a not on the window that they would return in 10min, but after 20min still no attendant. I would definitely use this location again for their availability.

Give a truck that has ac working. Remove that awning that is dangling. That awning cut me and I was bleeding. I'm surprised the city hasn't fined you for a safety hazard. Would never come back here again.

Pros: 24 hours, very friendly and accommodating staff Cons: the area is extremely sketch and unsafe. Homeless people were trying to tell me what to do with the rental and give instructions…. This is NOT the staffs fault. The staff was great

I ordered 2 Hand Trucks and one for furniture. and upon arrival I discovered that there was no equipment! I went to order without a tool! I had to buy the tool at my own expense and throw it away because I have no place to store the material!!!

I had to go back to this location in order to get the truck. I also had to move a large trailer out of the way in order to get to it that was very heavy. Very poor planning.

The truck I reserved was locked behind a gate. They gave me a truck with no gas and expected me to go add gas to it in order to be able to leave the location. The women at the window wqs selling single cigarette out of this uhaul location and was selling pharohanelia to do drugs I was her could the Briidles used to smoke crake and right the number on a tracking sheet. This was disgusting

The truck smelled like pee and was sticky, they didn't have my dollies and they didn't let me know prior to picking it up, the batter died and it took 2 hours for roadside assistance to come help. The worker there was nice though--she tried to be helpful but couldn't be.

- The premises is extremly dirty and unkept. - The onsite rep used a cell phone to complete transaction, which slowed the process down (but, she was pleasant) - I had to call the 800 nunber for clarification on my reservation. The phone rep wanted to call the onsite rep to discuss direclty, but couldn't call because the onsite phone number wasn't up to date or something doesn't work. They are aware of this yet do nothing about it. So, I had to lend her my phone. - The onsite rep stopped my transaction several times to help other customers purchase things from their store. - A homeless man and woman are living out of acar on the side of bldg. The lady dressing outside. - The truck, which was the last available in the area was DIRTY! It had a crusted dog bowl on the floor and it wreaked of urine and feces. It appears that a dog was living inside. Honestly, my husband and I were so desperate to get to our destination that we kept the truck. We were moving our son to Las Vegas and he needed to start work the following day. - The truck battery was dead, so we had to keep jumping the truck. In all fairness, we were aware of this before we left so we just grabbed a jump pack. It wasn't a major problem, but certainly inconvenient. Overall, the smell in the truck made the experience horrific. We would have left it in Las Vegas, but we received a deal to bring it back to Los Angeles or faced paying double the price. That uHaul location is a poor representation of the company brand and I hope that someone looks further into my claims. I have a few pictures for your review, if needed.

Bad service . The person behind the counter was rude and rushed. I was asking questions and wasn't helpful at all she just wanted me out . She was actually on a personal phone call with AAA.

They did not have the truck that I had reserved and instead charged me an extra $20 for a larger truck that I did not need. The truck I received had a padlock on the back so we could not access it. I had to wait nearly an hour for this to be resolved.

Terrible Terrible experience. UHAUL overcharged ME 10 DAYA EXTRA FOR A RENTAL , they overdraft almost $800 from my account with out my consent. I open 2 claims and they only reversed me $42 Today 5 moths later I open the 3rd claim, and I got the same answers Many llamas is going to contact you.. this situation is very frustrating

Almost got robbed by two local gangsters at your facility the girl working was kind and let me into her bulletproof office I requested to have a truck brought to the culver city location but your customer service representative said no south central los angeles is not a safe location your company should consider customer safety I will never use uhaul again

I was charged another rental after dropping off 10 hours before time expired with more than half a tank of gas. Very unprofessional. This must have happened to others often because he was shocked when I demanded a refund for false charges.

Long story ahead. Uhaul gave me a specific drop-off location but did not tell me they closed at 3 pm, did not give an option for after-hours drop-off, and forbade me from dropping it off anywhere else under penalty of a "wrong drop-off location" fee of double. I live in the city and was expected just to keep a 15-foot Uhaul overnight on the street or else I would get charged double if I took it to a 24-hour drop-off location. The Uhaul could have easily been broken into and I would have been on the hook for damages. It would have been ticketed or towed and I would have been liable to pay it. When I pleaded with Uhaul's sense of decency they treated me like a subhuman. The manager Reva was especially awful I would be embarrassed to have her work at my company. Then I called the Gold Star Gas location and was immediately put at ease by an employee named Chris. He understood my situation and gladly took the Uhual at the price I was initially promised. This guy was a pro and a decent person. If Uhaul was run entirely by guys like this, the world would be a better place. I would gladly use the Gold Star location again. Thanks, Chris!

Truck had damages, fuel tank on empty, appliance dolly broken wheels kept falling off unable to use had to carry refrigerator, washer and dryer. No utility dolly as I had requested. Young lady that help me was very polite and helpful she took the time to help me with the iPhone stuff that was being requested by Chris over the phone

This location is in the hood at a very sketchy location. Whoever was in charge there is extremely not involved nor did he or she care to try and help with my reservation l. I stood around for an hour before given the keys, only to not have the dollys or moving blankets I purchased in the order. Other than the truck driving from point A to point B and back, this experience was absolutely trash. 1/5 stars… terrible location and terrible service !!!

The location left a lock on the rear. Took a round trip of 45-60min. Wasted gas and mileage to return and get fixed. Noted to location and they said they would take care of it and notate it for return and never did. They chuckled when I came back with no apology or understanding the issue.

This location is very shady and very unprofessional. They gave me a customer of faulty equipment that became on drivable and possibly put me in a dangerous situation by blowing up on me they are charging people unauthorized charges, and people are having to close their accounts due to this location, saying their systems are down, but there are still charging people money for rentals that they don't have for replacements and for roadside assistance stay away from this place as they are scammers and once they have your information they will do whatever they want with it

If this location is your ONLY option to rent, you MUST take a photo of the mileage (in & out) and the fuel gauge (in & out). Fortunately, I did and now disputing my bill. I returned the truck with the SAME amount of gas. UHaul charged me $16,25 for 3 gals of gas + $30 fuel service fee. They also charged me additional miles that wasn't mine. Then we called (only to get an answer machine) that we were on our way, they charged an additional $79,9 for returning 39 minutes past 8pm but still within my rental time of 8 hours. We called earlier and actually spoke to a woman saying that we had an emergency meeting and most likely will be a few minutes past 8. There's something to be said about no personal service.

The personnel at this location did not know how to represent UHaul at all. The operators were negligent of the equipment and uninformed as to the operation of a Uhaul office. Problems were: 1. I was redirected at the last minute to pick up my van at a location that was about 6 miles farther than my contracted location. 2. They rewrote my contract so that when I signed out the vehicle on a cell phone I was unaware that the price for the vehicle and mileage charges was changed! 3. The vehicle was filthy dirty inside and out. 4. The dents and bumper damage on the vehicle would be an embarrassment if UHaul were my company. I consider the contract change the way it occurred to be a deception to me as a customer. Since I signed the cell phone modification- I am aware that I allowed the change legally, but I am an upset customer with UHaul! Shame on you!

We received the truck with less gas than indicated. I contacted the customer service rep at 424-522-4142 with pictures of the gas gauges Will not be using uhaul again and will move over to budget when we need a truck.

Was given a van with no gas but asked to return it a quarter of a tank full. I was slightly under and charged a $30 fee plus the cost of filling. I was also charged a $25 collision waiver I did not sign up for. When I called customer service, they were condescending. Very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible service and location. It was the only place that had a 26 foot truck near me so I was sent there by the phone representative. I made the reservation over the phone with the addition of furniture pads and a dolly. When I arrive there is 2 employees that seem like they have no idea what they are doing. I was quoted 62$ so I agreed. Wasn't given a reciept, order number or any instructions regarding return. When I came back after using the truck they said "thank you you'll receive you receipt via email" later that evening I received a reciept for 175$ citing a 33$ fuel charge fee, a 30 fuel fee, 42$ mileage fee, 14$ insurance fee 2 rental charges of 40$. I'm assuming that's might be regular fees but the fact that I get absolutely no information on this is ridiculous. If I would have known I would be charged 70$ for fuel if i didn't return it at the same fuel amount I would've passed by a gas station and put 20$ of gas. I literally used 1/8 of a tank. This location must be inspected by someone in management. I've been to other u haul locations and never has it been so unprofessional . Asi they have no blankets or dollys so i don't know why they even offer it as an option.
