The truck was new, clean and easy to manage.
Dale ALinda was fantastic! Goldie locks rental facility is very professional. Everyone was very good about communicating with me and made the rental process easy.

Chris HI was given a drop off location of Marvin's Auto in Colchester and when I arrived they came out and told me they didn't have room for the truck so I need to go to Goldie Locks storage. This was extremely inconvenient and poor planning by them or U-Haul. When I dropped off at Goldie Locks the staff had no clue I was coming. Originally he said I can't park there. I explained. Once the gentleman understood my situation he was helpful and did understand. But this was the last thing I was hoping for when I had driven a 26 foot truck across the country. U-Haul should guarantee a spot for drop off where they tell you to do it.
Matt LWas instructed to drop off vehicle to a certain location and there was one gentleman working there .. who had no clue why I was there and called someone else who said I could leave it. I got no paperwork and he did not come out and look at the truck. I took pictures to make sure there was no issue later and he said it was okay to leave it. I got no follow up email to say it was all set and only this survey .

EDWARD DThe gentleman who helped me out was fantastic. I also like the text messaging ability to check out ahead of time. The difference between 4 stars and 5 stars was the vehicle I had reserved was not available so I had to take a bigger vehicle. I was thankful that I was not charged more, and also thankful I was able to back it into the narrow driveway where I had to pick up the item the truck was rented for.

Rose BEmployee was very friendly and asked about the rental vehicle, larger box truck. The employee had knowledge of the differences between the years of vehicles.
jeffrey bThe online process is very inefficient. My instructions were to show up the day of my appointment and check in on my phone, however once there, I was required to take pictures of my license and offer alternate forms of verification which could and should have been done the day or morning before. These are things, had I known sooner, I could have had ready to go and thus made things go faster and smoother when I arrived to pick up the truck. I was delayed about 25 minutes because of this. This was an issue with the Uhaul site/process however and had nothing to do with Goldi Locks as they were great and very helpful at this location.
Jonathan PIf the drop off location is changed to 15 miles from the selected drop off then the customer should not be charged those extra miles. We had to pay for extra mileage upon dropping off even though we had no choice in drop off location. The staff was very nice, but its an unfair charge to the customer.

Kevin BI was running late due to heavy traffic returning the truck. The gentleman in the head office only cared about my safety. He was friendly and polite, and made my UHaul experience worthwhile. I would recommend Goldilocks Self Storage-UHaul to anyone. Everything was excellent and made my rental experience a breeze. Thank you! (No improvement needed!)

Ben BTruck was clean but the side mirrors were not secured, and would move out of position while driving. Definitely a hazard. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. Especially on short notice with small window to complete move.

Peter BThe truck was filthy with drink stain everywhere, very dirty especially during covid times should be sanitized was very disgusting. I wanted a truck with drop off location to the new place which was 12-18 mile cheaper and closer and wasnt able to accommodate me cause they said I would need a different truck when they had like 5. And also very unsafe truck; the driver side door wouldn't close stood open whole ride. I noticed after i packed truck light said door open. Had no other choice but to drive it slowly.

CHERYL PThe location was fine, the manager was very nice. BUT I had already been to Windsor CT to pick up my original UHaul that did not actually exist. Had to drive over an hour to pick up this one. After I left this location, the U haul fell off my hitch about 5 miles down the road (on a back road with almost no cell service). Luckily a Good Samaritan stopped and reattached. I then stopped at the u haul dealership in Colombia who informed me that they chains were also attached incorrectly.
Jennifer SThey weren't open when I went to pick up the truck. Had to call and wait for someone to show up. Then they started calling me around 12:30 to find out when I'd be back. Technically had the truck rented until 1:00.
Jeffrey GClean windshield (interior). The rental experience was great. The truck was clean, handled well and was mechanically perfect. It drove better than my vehicles. I will recommend to friends. Affordable too!

Kathleen HThe application process was quick and effortless. The only negative thing I have to say is pay attention to the mileage BEFORE you leave the lot. What was printed on my paper work and what the odometer said were 2 completely different things. I did not pay attention because I was in a rush I got charged for 50+ miles when I only drove 25....I couldn't contest it because I did not notice until the day I returned it.

William LTruck was automatically in TOW mode. That was not discussed, and the truck rode rough. Perhaps a sign or note in the truck to take it off TOW for better handling would be helpful. I am a woman using the truck for purchase pickup,.and I am.not a frequent truck driver.

I think it would benefit customers in this Covid time in life to do more cleaning where the people are and maybe tag the truck somehow that it has been thoroughly cleaned for folks peace of mind. On the tag it could say what was done in the cleaning process.

BROOKE MI should not have been charged for 2 days....picked up at 4:30 pm on Saturday. Returned at 5:30 pm on Sunday. Was not told that I would be charged for a second day if I returned it after hours, Was just told to use the drop box if I returned it after hours. Feel free to credit my card or lose a customer. Your choice U-Haul!!! Steve Archibald
