Location was great but when we tried to book at the other west shore location we were moved to goldstream because of availability. We didn't mind the switch but the day we needed our truck the check in had the original wrong address. This made for a very confusing adventure getting our truck. Also the truck we were assigned wasn't available in the front and the further directions on getting to the truck around back wasn't obvious. The people there were very helpful but the online check in was very disappointing.Ryan E.
Same as above comment. The location managers are awesome. Corporate uhaul had provided the worst customer service experience in my 30 years of doing business. Inaccurate information, outright misleading statements and abusive behaviour by the scheduling staff. Scheduling staff also makes threatening statements and outright claimed that the unit was likely to be stolen since it was late in being returned. Extremely unprofessional and bullying behaviour. I have already posted my experience widely on social media and numerous parties have already confirmed they will change moving plans based on my experience.Tom M.

The gas gage was faulty because it showed Full when I rented the van but after 19 km to fill up the tank cost $34.86. It was explained to the dealer but he insisted that the situation was my responsibility because I verified the gas gauge. However the gage must have been faulty because I'm certain I did not use that much gas. The dealer was unwilling to correct the error.Carol M.

Very unfriendly "help." Didn't even answer questions. I feel we were overcharged but it was clear we'd get nowhere with the person so we gave up and vowed to avoid Haul in the future. Signage was very poor in trying to locate the premises.Glenda B.

When I arrived to pick up the van, it wasn't returned and ready for me yet. I had to wait almost 20 minutes and I was behind my schedule. Once I returned the cargo van at night, store employee has mistakenly input additional 50kms on mileage and charged me for that. When I saw this mistake, I had to call to fix this. But they were able to make a refund immediately to my credit card.Maksim R.
Not sure why we still need to go through the purchasing process when we already did it on-line. Would be nice if we could just pick up the item we rented with out this step. Otherwise, why do it on-line other than reserving it. Paper work always delays the pickup process and has nothing to do with this location. It was great.Kim H.

Signage not large or clear enough. Personnel not very communicative. Not much parking space.Judith I.
1) had to go 1 town over to pick up my truck, found this out one day before my move, so wasted an hour. 2) I reserved a utility dolly, but this location didn't have one. Had to try and make do with a huge, heavy appliance dolly, and a low, flat dolly, both of which were unusable in my move even though I had to pay for them both. 3) the next morning, went to my local u-haul, and attempted to replace the two unwanted dollies with a utility dolly. They said that because it was a one-way move, they couldn't take back the wrong ones and give me the proper dolly. I had to pay for a third dolly (!) to ensure that I had the correct equipment to unload. This was the worst u-haul experience I've had, to date.Michael G.
The operator of the pickup location was excellent. My issue is with the online reservation that I made on August 19th that was canceled via email for no apparent reason. This is terrible customer service and had a snowball affect on our ferry reservations, move out with landlord, move in and stress.Chris W.

Your phone customer service, especially the "Scheduling Managers" was the worst customer service experience I have frankly ever had. Truly horrendous. Only exception was 'Nicholas' who after 6,5 hours on the phone with UHaul actually solved the issue that UHaul created in the first place. I will avoid UHaul like the plague next time.Ewan F.

Hello when I reserved the U-Haul I pacifically asked for a truck that would be able to carry a heavy fridge the truck had no ramp and we're not able to put the fridge in so it cost me 85 bucks for nothing I had to bring it back I specifically told the guy I need a truck that could carry a fridge I'm hoping I can get reimbursed the money that I lost for not able to get my fridge because of that I had to order another vehicle A trailer I'm hoping this time it will work it shit it has a rap thank you lena MurrayWilliam G.

Efficient courteous staff, so all good. The only downside was having to drive a lot of extra kilometers from and to this location due to no availability at the location we usually use, which is close to us. This resulted in a significant extra distance chargeIan S.
No complaints about this location at all. The staff were great and very helpful. I wish I could say the same about UHAUL as a company. The amount of stress they caused me a day before my move is indescribable. Again, this location was excellent, but unfortunately I will never rent from UHAUL again as their customer service and scheduling teams were incredibly rude and unhelpful after changing my reservation less than 24 hours in advance. The next time I need to rent a truck, I will go literally anywhere else, even if it's triple the price.HAYLEY M.

One tire trailer was very low. Shared responsibility by both the employee (very, very nice and professional) and me for not doing a better walk-around. No blame here, just learning. I would definitely rent from this location again.Gregory G.

The pickup location was great, the reservation was quick and easy, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The cargo trailer I rented was not clean and roll top door was not adjusted properly. This did pose a safety concern which we relayed when we dropped the trailer off.Murray K.

I got the wrong truck because the other one that I was supposed to use was not available and my trip ended up costing me double in fuel and ferries because of oversize truck with trailerManny G.

This was by far my best experience out of more than 20. They hooked up the trailer and took it off in the yard. I'm not great at reversing so that was a big deal. 100 % recommend.derek D.

I would absolutely never recommend anyone going to this location: the rudest and most ignorant customer service. I know times are tough and it's hard to get employees but the service was disgusting and disgraceful and I would not just recommend this place I would go out of my way to discourage anyone from going to this location to rent a uhaul vehicle. It is unfortunate that I had to take a $40 cab ride to pick up a U-Haul at a location which was not the selected location for pick up. It was confirmed that my U-Haul would be available at the Topaz Avenue location in Victoria BC, but I had to travel all the way to Gold Street market in Langford BC to pick it up it was extremely inconvenient and completely changed the schedule for my day including movers and ferry bookings.Bernadette D.

I arrived to pick up the trailer, the lady who was at the counter was on the phone, I had to wait for a approximately 7 minutes for her to finished the phone call, she should have put the client on the phone on a hold. After those 7 minutes she took care of me and did the check in process. The trailer that I had booked was not available, so I had to pay extra money for that trailer, I had already made my ferry reservations and I had to pay extra money due to a bigger size of the trailer, $37 on way and $40 the other way. Not very happy with the service at all.brian M.
