Area is dangerous location I kept drop off compound was full with junked vehicles and over grown grass. Not a good feeling being there. Definitely NOT family friendly.

Very unhappy with the service. You all over booked and changed my location and pick up time. The location where I picked up the trucks didn’t have the three dollies I requested. Won’t ever use y’all again. Spoke with corporate and they didn’t try to fix the problem. I will not recommend you all and I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

Personnel (5) were all watching TV and drinking when I got there, none of them paid any attention nor tried to help. When I told them I was there to drop off a trailer only one of them responded and verbatim, he said "We don't have any space, just take it with you." There was plenty of space available, after much insisting he finally stood up and decided to do the drop off paper work. Terrible experience.

The drop off location did not want to accept the trailer and told me to go to another location because he did not have room. That is because the lot with the trucks was packed with cars waiting for repair I guess. Anyway I said no, I have a contract that states this is my drop off location and if you have an issue with that call U-Hall. I had to squeeze my truck into the weed infested dirt lot to drop the trailer off. The the person I was talking to just walk off and I said Hey, we need to do the paperwork to return the trailer. He said it is all taken care of and continued to walk away from me. I was furious being treated this way by the U-Haul team. So I called U-Haul and learned the the trailed was not returned in your system. Unbelievable customer service.

There's barely any space to return the trailer. We were there riding around to put the trailer in a very narrow spot for almost 20 minutes then have to take pictures to send in to view and pay. Total process for returning trailer for this location is 30 minutes. Not very satisfied with the return.

The location charged me an extra day payment for which I had to raise a request to void the payment. Would appreciate giving a call before charging extra that too when the drop-off was as planned.

My truck was not available at the location I chose. They did not have the right dolly that I requested. The location was dirty and there are holes in the walls. The person that helped us was very nice and professional.

I had call 1-800 general # 3 time to obtain the truck. The decide goto lunch 10:30 am. Did not receive truck after 1 pm on Saturday. The 1/2 doze pad dirty and not fold. Never received contact therefore when stop in Meridan MS the guys provided with information

There was a lock on the trailer which made it a struggle every time we had to open and close it. We used this to transport chair and table rentals for a wedding and one of my employees was struggling to open the door once (because of the lock) and ended up slicing her finger. It was very frustrating and now I have an employee who with a bandaged hand. This trailer became more of a hassle than it was any help. The gentleman at the pickup/drop off location is always kind and helpful, but due to this incident, I don't think we will be using a UHAUL trailer for our events again.

I arrived a few minutes before my 10:00 am appt. I had to look for someone to help me and then was told "he's running late and I don't know when he will get here". The facility was run down and appeared to have either been infested with or previously infested with rats. Very unclean, unorganized. Had receipts with personal information lying about with unattended guests (myself and spouse) Mr. Gonzales's computer wouldn't work and had to do the rental over the phone. This began at 10:26 am. i left with truck at 11:45! The staff on the phone checked in the wrong person, the one arriving at 10:20 and sent them on their way while I was still waiting. Why make an appt if no one is going to be there and you have to do the rental process from beginning over the phone?? I had reserved 24 blankets and only received 12 of the 15 they had on site; half of mine were given to the individuals who were checked in before me (Really??) I WAS CHARGED for 15! and not happy about it. I was told to drop at one location in Boerne and found out it was a totally different location no where near where I was and almost did not make it in time to drop off. Jennifer at the drop off location was very helpful and kind. You all should employ more people like her! I won't be using Uhaul again as a result of the POOR service and unclean facility of pick up.

Called day before to make sure okay if I picked up a little early and was told not a problem. Got there 15 minutes early and was told by another employee that the guy wasn't there and that he would be there in 20 minutes. Basically dos everything on phone with a uhaul representative because his computer didn't work. They did not have the correct dolly that I ordered and did not inspect truck with me.

The truck need oil change and the guy cheater miles over 40 miles,becauces I moving from my house on Pflugerville to my new house on Houston far way 157 miles but on the truck count over 208 miles.

I was surprised to know that a mechanic's place like that could be renting U-Hauls. Way below average and the comments made about the maintenance of the truck especially the steering were not taken into consideration. careless people.

Cancel their dealership. They represent U-HAUL in a very negative, unprofessional manner. They are located in a "SHADE TREE", auto repair body shop, which to me means that being a U-HAUL dealer is secondary, and it shows. A greasy mechanic was the only one to greet me, with " just give me the keys the U-HAUL guy is gone". They did not check the gas, mileage,or give me a receipt for the time of return. I received a call a week later from U-HAUL corporate, asking if I had returned the truck. It had not been checked in by this dealership!!! It was still in my name for a week after I had returned it !!!. As I said at the start , in order to improve this place, you have to get rid of it.

First off this location looks like a junk yard and is unprofessional with multiple safety hazards on the property for customers. I set up an appointment to pick a truck up at 9 am on Saturday 8/29/2015. I had to call the owner at 9:20 am because no one had shown up, and there was a line of folks waiting outside to pick up UHauls. Apparently his brother didn't show up and I had to wait another 15 minutes for him to show up. In addition I was an hour late to the job to serve my customers due to this delay. In addition the mileage on the truck was different than the paperwork. I only drove 37 miles with the UHaul I rented, but was charged for 89 miles at $1.19 a miles. When I picked up the truck I was told for having to wait he would knock down the mileage price to $0.99 mile. I have called the office several times the past couple days to correct this matter and keep getting voicemail. At this point I would like compensation for my lost time and mileage fraud. Service was wonderful!! The physical truck itself literally shook so badly between the speeds of 45-70 that I missed my appointment with my movers at my new home in Fort Worth where it was 107. Not a pleasant experience with the truck however service at the pickup location was awesome!

Refresh your computer system so everyone is up to date on changes. I had called customer service about the time I needed the truck I was told by customer service that it was not a problem however when I got to the pick up location they were not expecting me until noon, so the truck was not ready.

Charge the right number of days. I kept the unit for 8 hours, and was charged 2 days. The agent said the extra day was for deposit.

Truck was not swept out, gas tank was 1/2 full. Oil Change light was on (though I was told it had been serviced, just not reset). That would have been fine, but as I was leaving town the power steering went out and the breaks started acting up. I dont feel this was the fault of the pickup location, just an oversight on the maintenance. Also, it would have been nice to pick up the truck closer to my location, as it was 30 min away, and I know there are at least 3 other rental locations that were closer.

I received an email at noon on Friday stating my pick-up location was Three Points. When I arrived at Three Points, I was informed that my truck/equipment was at Gonzales. Both of these locations are located on an open lot, unpaved-- and muddy from recent rains. I have been doing business with U-Haul for almost 35 years and these locations are not what I am accustomed to from U-Haul. The truck was dirty because of the mud. The inside of the truck was clean. After picking up my truck, I had to GO BACK to Three Points to get my dolly and pads! I had also had earlier trouble at Three Points with merchandise errors. (It was only during my second visit to Three Points that I received a call telling me my pick-up location was Gonzales...nice timing an hour and 20 minutes after my appt. time). The saving grace for the Gonzales location was the customer service. The agent was helpful, friendly and very apologetic. He deserves some investment by U-Haul to pave his large lot. The folks at Three Points were also nice, but they need better training/supervision.

The mileage included in the rate was less than the actual miles between the pickup and drop- off location. Had to pay for extra miles at completion. Drop-off place said this is normal and if I had asked or pointed it out at pickup time they would of given 20-30 extra miles for free, Seems This should be a normal practice and not subject to customer asking.. Seems like an extra cost like the airlines now charges,

I'm not sure what can be done to improve customer service, the gentleman was very accommodating, even willing to come in earlier than the business opened just to make sure we were able to get the truck and supplies we ordered. He walked us though the truck showing us all of the features, pointing out items of note and answering every question we had. Remarkable service I have not seen in years, very impressed. If anyone in the Jerseyville, IL area needs to rent a U-Haul I would recommend this location. If it were possible to rent from this location economically from my new location in South County St. Louis, I would in a heart beat, unprecedented customer service. -Nathan Brown
