Took 25 minutes before an employee greeted me in the empty office. Had a sign saying they were short staffed and to call and they would be right with you. Almost a half hour wait is not acceptable. This was after already completing online checking so was infuriating. Then finally got helped and finished the â€œcheck inâ€ to repeat the same info already given. Then was told, â€œI'll meet you up at the lotâ€ to which the employee never came to help even after calling the help number 4 times to no answer. Then the location closed. This was awful customer service, and just downright rude. 0/10 should not be on the uhaul program.stephen C.

These independent franchises should not be allowed to operate. Equipment is not maintained, hours are sparse and the language barrier is tough to navigate. Prices are 5-6 times over what you would pay for the same trailer in another region.Dean P.

While Silverthorne is where we ended up picking our truck up, we had originally made our reservation to pick up at the airport in Gypsum. We were give a 30 minute in advance notice that our truck was unavailable. We were in tears and beyond upset as if the sheer stress of moving isn't enough. After calling a Denver location we couldn't even get a straight answer as to why the truck was suddenly not available. Our alternatives were either a 4 hour or 2 drive out of our way to get the properly sized vehicle. This process was not user friendly. No accommodations were made to get the truck to us and overall disappointed that it's just okay to give people 30 minutes to completely replan their day for moving. When we arrived in Salina the gentlemen working at that uhaul even agreed that more effort should have made to meet the reservation request.Olivia F.

The 24/7 process to get keys should be a tad clearer. It asks if you can access your vehicle, but you can't cause you don't have keys. Once you say yes, then it gives you code for keys.Scott G.

Tricky entrance for drop off. There is a separate lot for dropping the trailer than the office. The office does not have a turn-a-round or pull through exit. This is fine if one knows ahead of drop off.Steven G.
This location seems to have the staffing issue that every business has. This is probably the 3rd time I have used this location in the last 6 months. The main problem is there is nobody at the desk when you enter and it takes about an hour from when you get there to get on the road. It seems each staff member has a job with the other two businesses located in the building. The result was they seemed overworked and were kind of rude to us. HOWEVER I understand this is a small location and there is no way there is enough business to dedicate multiple people to the limited U-Haul customers there would be. It is better than having no Uhaul available any day.Brad S.

the gas tank was showing 5/8 when I got into the truck in Denver while your record was showing higher at pick up location, I have photos from the gauge at pick up and drop off that can send you, exactly the same and yet I got charged. I hear its a common U-haul thing so congrats on the reputation you have made that people are talking about it.maziar K.

I was falsely over charged almost $300. I am waiting for an explanation. There was zero damage to the truck and we returned it cleaner than we received it. I received my receipt via email a week after we returned it and was falsely charged extra for supposed damages that Noone has been able to explain to me yet. We also purchased the full coverage insurance. Horrible scam to pull on us. We were planning on renting from this location again but now we will never give our business to this location again. Bad and dishonest. What a joke that this business has "God is good all the time" on their trucks. Lying and stealing? Ya, not good.Daniel R.

The van asked for months before and confirmed earlier the week before rental this wasn't there and after waiting an hour and a half for 'someone to return something else' I was given a 15' box truck... not ideal for the amount of driving I needed to do. After I returned the truck, I noticed I left a couple of items in the truck and when I called I was told that the truck was no longer there and they have no way of locating it or my lost items. I won't ever rent from you guys again after this, and the complete lack of customer service is something you need to look atJeremy F.

Gas tank was almost empty on pick up! Had to drive out of the way and add mileage for gas!! Very upset about that. Returned with 1/2 tank gas and they would not even discuss a discount off the rental! Truck drove horribly, pulled to the right the whole time. When truck was dropped off, they could not get me a receipt or check me in because they were too busy. Said I would get a receipt via email. NEVER got one. Absolutely horrid. I arrived 5 minutes before Saturday afternoon closing and was able to hand over the keys. Two minutes later, they were gone. Said they would look at truck on Monday. While signage to drop lot was adequate, the only way to the office involved walking down a dirt bank. A bit rustic. And they charged me for 30 excess miles when I left 1/2 tank more gas in the truck than was in it when I picked it up.Henry P.

Rented a 5x8 to move daughter. Rented on-line, checked in online, called location and confirmed with Annette. She was pleasant and professional. Confirmed they would have unit and supplies ready to go the next morning at 900...and she did. Returned the next day, and check in went very smooth again. This is more of a comment for Uhaul itself and not the dealer. The enclosed box trailers, of all sizes, do not have adequate positions for securing your load via tie downs or straps. They are located on the roof or on the floor. If the railings offered more points for secure strapping this would be ideal.Shane F.
First, my thanks to the staff for staying a little later than their normal work schedule to allow the previous renter to return the trailer (they were late) which then allowed me to get the unit I had reserved. It saved me Days on my move. One issue I did not notice when I picked up the trailer was that my hitch was too low. My hitch had a 2" drop. This caused the trailer tongue to be too low. You need to include a tongue jack.Hal V.

The location was open, but not one was at the desk. They had a sign set up that said they were short staffed and to call a number to let them know were we at the desk. We called and the number and it went to voice mail. No one never answered. We waited for over an hour before anyone arrived.Kenneth M.
Do not use on a weekend! The 24/7 share did not work, no keys had been staged. The facility is fully closed on the weekends with no phone support! After hours on hold talking to different UHaul centralized employees, finally had to give up moving on Sunday as planned and reschedule for Monday! Uhaul promised a small refund but did not call or email to process refund credit as promised. On Monday this small location was fine. The staff was very busy but helpful. The truck was in good condition and clean. Just don't risk a major issue with your landlord for moving out a day late because you scheduled with uhaul to pickup on a weekend when the site is fully closed and keys not left as scheduled.Leigh B.
