Nora TReturned truck and parking lot was gated shut. Had difficulty finding a place to park such a large vehicle with no parking lot access.
laura cThe shop owner insisted on doing the hook up, told me I was good to go. After I had them confim the brake lights worked. I pulled out of the parking lot and 1000 yards down the road the trailer separated from the truck in the middle of the road. They didn't tighten the hitch on to the ball. After passerby helped me get the trailer out from under my truck and attach it properly I called upset about the situation . The shop did acknowledge on a recorded line they forgot to tighten the hitch and ask if everyone is OK, they offered to come help if I needed it. But that was the end of their concern. When I pointed out the damage to my truck upon return of the trailer less than 3hrs latter they didn't apologize or offer compensation they just said its a truck. I will most certainly not be recommending this location to any one.
