My prepaid reservation in Stockton, CA was re-routed to this pick up location 50 mi. South of my move location. No other options given. Confusion due to not being able to reach the pick up staff or confirm my reservation was at this location. U-haul customer service, not this local business was at fault because U-haul "system". made the changes after hours the night before reservation pick up was due.Coleen I.

I was quoted $19,99 and charged $39.99. I asked for a 10 ft and they wanted to give me a van then they gave me a 17 ft that had brake problems. Finally got a 15 that smelled like weed. The employees Kathy and the young lady were great. The issues with trucks and pricing were not thier faultAlma S.

Update inventory on website. I reserved a 26 foot truck two miles away from home on Uhaul.com. After making transaction for reservation, I was notified that the pick up location didn't have any trucks let alone dollies and blankets I had reserved. I was instructed to drive 34 miles away if I wanted the size of truck I had reserved. I had to change moving plans in order to fit into a smaller truck that was still twenty miles backtracking from location I was moving from. When I picked up truck with reservation, they did not have appliance dolly, or furniture dolly, I had expected and paid for. The location attendant informed me that it happens all the time, it would do them a favor if I notified u haul about it. I once again had to change moving plans and make another contract at different Uhaul location in order to rent equipment necessary for move. After move, at return location I was told all equipment was return and was free to go, however because the appliance dolly and other equiptment was on a separate reservation, I had to return and clarify that all equipment was return. I hope I never have to move again and will shop around for moving options if I have to.Daniel M.

I CHECKED OUT A 15 FOOTER ON TUES. 10/16. I USED 14 MILES. I WAS CHARGED 107$. I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE REIMBURSED $50 SINCE I WAS CHARGED OUT OF TOWN AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN TOWN. Employees are not fully aware of equipment procedures/policies. Have moving pads/blankets available at this location and if not, then management needs to pick them up from another location instead of making renters drive to pick them up even though this was part of the equipment rental contract.QUANG R.

It was exceedingly disappointing how Uhaul changed was our pick up location repeatedly at the last moment. We scheduled uhaul for two different pick ups and both times the location was changed to at least a 15 minute drive from where we wanted it. Will probably not be using this service again.Bruce C.

Made reservations through the 800 number. They texted me the conformation. At the location had to wait until someone came in, apparently the manager, because the person there could not complete it. Had to wait about 30 minutes. Paperwork has the wrong destination on it.david A.
I was not notified until the day of our reservation that a truck was not available at the Turlock location where I requested pick up. This Delhi location did not have the blankets I requested, and the Turlock facilities were closed after we picked up the Truck at this location. The young woman who helped me worked very hard to meet our needs and was very apologetic for circumstances beyond her control. She should be commended for her professionalism.Tom F.

I was originally assured a 26' truck, U-Haul (corporate, not the actual location) told me a 20' truck was all that was available. I could have really used the bigger truck and don't understand why it was reserved for me then changed.Sean B.
I had reserved a 26 ft. Truck for Saturday, Feb. 17 at 8:00 am. I received two email confirmations for my reservation. So when I arrived at 8:00 am to pick up my truck, I was told no truck was available because they had given it out to someone else. The only solution was for me to drive 25 miles to Newman to pick up a truck and all they had was a 20 ft truck. The manager at the 7-11 said I would still have to pay for mileage. The reason I rented the truck in Delhi was because I was moving from a location in Delhi to another location in Delhi. I told her I shouldn't have to pay the mileage because it was their fault I was driving an extra 25 miles from Newman. Luckily the man at the U Haul in Newman was kind enough to give us a break on our mileage. The people at the Newman location were apologetic, friendly, and very helpful unlike the people in Delhi. I am a teacher in Delhi and go to this 7-11 very often but will NEVER rent a U Haul from them again.liz V.

The service was beyond excellent. the original set up was okay except the gal couldn't and didn't get the dates correct after 5 times of telling her - this was the Turlock office. But after talking to the Delhi office and home office all was good. Thanks much for good customer service.PATTY G.

Pros: -Truck was clean, well maintained. -Manager offered food/beverage to compensate for difficulty returning truck. Cons: -Truck had less than 1/16 tank of fuel, which required we gas up at the rental location (a gas station). -System was down when we returned the vehicle. We waited more than 30 minutes while the employee attempted to complete the return. -No apparent plan of action in case system is down. -There appeared to be no onsite management to guide the employee. The manager was available by phone only and was unable to resolve the issue prior to us leaving so the return was not completed while we were there. -Staff unprofessionalism. When we arrived to return the vehicle, the young lady requested another clerk take over the gas station register so she could assist us at the rental counter. The other clerk first got a doughnut and soda before taking over for the young lady. Later, after waiting more than 30 minutes to compete the return and voicing my concern that there seemed to be no plan to resolve the issue, the employee stated she couldn't "make magic happen." -Inaccurate paperwork? The check-out condition was completed on a truck rental form. The check-in condition was completed on a van rental form. Maybe this is store/company policy?DARLEEN C.

I had no problem with either of the locations pick up or drop off. My issue was with traffic control changing my PU location, changing my pick up time without notification and pick up location not having pads, rope or dolly as I had in my reservation. The late pickup cost me as I had hired people to help me move and had to pay 3 guys 2 hours each extra because of late pick up on the truck.GREG G.
