The drop off in Hamner is in a convenience store. We cleaned the cab before drop off and left more fuel than required. There were extra kilometres we had to pay for iand had to change from miles to kilometres to get it right. We checked the clerks numbers and all worked out. We thanked him for his patience. All and all we are very pleased. Thx!

Daniel GuillemetteMy initial reservation was for a 6x12 trailer only to be told two days before that the trailer would not be available and I could take a 5x8 instead. Had I wanted a 5x8 I would have booked it. We ended up needing to rent two5x8 trailers to move my sons and his friends contents as a result. I would not recommend u-haul to anybody if they really need to get what they booked

Robert LeBouthillierMiles on truck didn't match up whAt was suppose to be. They tried charging me over $500 for my rental when didn't even use 50 miles. Had to deal with customer service to get it rectified. Sent her the two images I had of the speedometer as proof with time stamps. The person working at this location was highly unprofessional and shady. I will never be back to this location again and will drive an extra 20 minutes to have better service and no issues. I regularly rent from uhaul and this was highly unacceptable.

Dale MaccormackIn 5 tries to get through to UHaul customer service on the 1-800, I was on hold much too long. When someone would finally answer, they would then put me back on hold never to return. In another instance, the phone simply hung up on me. I would suggest a system where a customer can leave a message for a return call in queue or at least getting the phone number in case the line gets cut off to then be able to call back the customer.
Vince Lalande-I had to shovel 1,5 feet of snow out of the trailer and I front of it and the trailer was stuck in the ice - I had to chip it away to get going. Took about 45 min. -The rental process took over 40 minutes that's way to long. I find it very weird to need to register my ID to rent a trailer. I understand something that you drive you would need to do that, but not a trailer. Furthermore, I feel it's extremely unsafe for an employee to use their personal cell phone to register my ID.
ERIC BELLEFEUILLEThe vehicle was parked in an area of ice and was very difficult to remove from it's parking spot. Agent dis assist with salt and shovel but some system of keeping the parking spots clear would be a good idea.
Paul LabelleEquipment was in good working order. But it was a little dirty and the fuel was a little off. Fortunately your app allowed me to take pictures of such deficiencies as to not be penalized when the equipment was returned in the same order it was in when it left. Although I did sweep it and cleaned it. Merci.

Richard MelansonClean the snow off the truck and at least warm it up. Reservation cost is pointless when it costed well over that. My experience with uhaul previously was 100 times better. Won't recommend this location.

RIENGUETTE SCOTTWe requested for the truck to be dropped off at another location the uhaul company switched drop off location and let me know via text message which I did not receive during our out of town move. Went to location we drop of tow dolly as we didn't have the room for it and they had no idea later found out change of location and dropped off dolly. The day after when we went to drop off the truck at the location they picked the location had no idea and no room for the truck which took a lot of phone calls etc for them to figure out. We were then charged over $30 for the extra miles it took to get to the location THEY a picked and made us go to. When I called to complain they told me they'd call the drop off location and see if I could get money back and left it at that. SOOOO would not recommend.

JOEL JACQUESA more simplified contract agreement, important information should be easily seen and interpreted to facilitate the experience. A pdf checklist of all steps and information required to meet U-haul's rental rules would be helpful. Store clerk was unfamiliar with the system, and should have had support from U-Haul rather than the frustration of having to call and verify all the information myself.

st georgesThe trailer I reserved was not there, I was told to call uhaul and that's it. So I went back and just got a much larger trailer because it's all they had. Costed more money and the trailer tie downs were broken on one entire side of trailer and it was dirty inside .

robert leBouthillierI was not impress with pickup location. I was told when I booked the uhaul that I wouldn't need a receiver and balls that it was supplied. But I had to go back into town and buy both. When I return I had no help hooking up the trailer which was extremely difficult. I will never rent from uhaul again.

PAULETTE LALANCETTEMy husband's license was expired (1 month) when he went to pick up our reservation so he was denied the uhaul. He renewed his license online at the location and showed the worker proof but was still denied the uhaul. The worker would not update the license in the system and told him to leave. While waiting in the parking lot on hold with Uhaul (phoned the 1800 number) the worker asked him to leave the parking lot multiple times (he was not doing anything) and then called the police on my husband. Once police arrived and accessed the situation, the police officer explained to the worker that my husband had a valid reservation and valid license so there was no legal reason to deny him the uhaul. After 2 hours of this nonsense we were finally able to leave the uhaul. This worker needs to be reprimended and other workers need to be trained on how to update a drivers license on your system.
Alen AndrijevicMy trailer was not at this location. Without checking the person's ID, they released my trailer to someone else. Very frustrating. I also was not offered any solution to the issue. I happened to see the same size trailer at a different location and was able to solve my own problem. I was given the reservation guarantee when booking but was not given the $50 when the guarantee was not satisfied. I have to rent trailers over the next month as we are moving and am very disappointed with my experiences to this point.
ANDREWRONALD JONESOur truck wasn't there! And we had to go with a different size that was far away. We were told we wouldnt be charged for the increased truck size, but when we picked it up we were charged another $50. And the has definitely cost us more. The first 2 numbers customer service gave us to get someone to help us find a new truck just had answering machines. No one to help us. Horrible experience.

JASON YOUNGThe hanmer location lied to me about price. I had to call costumer service twice. They rented out my truck for the morning that I was suppose to get. Giving me the truck for only half a day, yet still had to pay for the whole day. After I brought the truck back, they were rude, and didn't seem to know the meaning of personal space. I will never recommend the hanmer location. They make uhaul look bad.
Rejean TrudelWe were misinformed by clerk, with regards to the billing process; I think he was actually misinformed or the language barrier caused the miscommunication. Based on the information provided to us, from the clerk and a quick calculation concerning fuel; it fell within budget. Had I been properly explained how they bill (I now know that it's BASED ON MILEAGE AND NOT A SET AMOUNT WITH AN ALLOWANCE OF MILEAGE!!!) I would not have committed to renting the vehicle; I would have taken my chances with my own truck and trailer! I only thought of an enclosed vehicle because of the possible weather.... This rental cost me $691 for the rental and $280 in fuel; the fuel cost was actually what I budgeted for, in all fairness. But for that price, I could have gotten it shipped and delivered TO ME and saved the day of driving. When I arrived back home, from returning the rental, I reached out to U-Haul costumer service, to explain this issue and hopefully work towards an amicable resolution. I ought to have known that this interaction would be just as deflating as my experience with using their rental service. She pretty much, in a nutshell, told me I'm SOL!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE, nor will I EVER use it myself again and I WILL let EVERYONE know how horrible my experience was, as well as their nearly FRAUDULENT tactics. We're contacting the credit card service provider to initiate a dispute case against U-Haul. I'm also considering filling a complaint with the BBBC (Better Business Bureau of Canada).
STeve hutchinsonThe dolly did not work as the vehicle was too wide. The system showed it being ok so I just feel as I didn't use it i shouldn't have had to pay for it. That's all !
brian dwyerLocation had good choice of trucks for the smaller area it serves. Staff when returning equipment was great but, when first picking up in the morning staff was not on the ball and could not fulfill the rental of all the moving pads. Equipment did the job but interior was not 100 % cleaned, would really appreciate a quick spray and wipe not just to make it more pleasant but for sanitary purposes as well.
