Store wasn’t open. The rental and pick up process was frustrating but that is no fault of the store

Qimmah NAgain Everything was above what I expected
LEO KI had reserved 48 blankets along with the truck, but none were provided. I had to drive to a U-Haul store at a different location to get blankets. Lack of Sunday hours is also inconvenient.
Scott PThe man who completed my transaction was awful. He was irritated from the moment I walked into the door, mumbled under his breath, and was very cold and unwelcoming. When I asked about the $50 reservation guarantee since I was sent to this location from another one, he got more irritated and said it was the responsibility of the other location. He then called a "local U-Haul rep" by the name of Paul Parten, who said I didn't qualify for the discount. I was tired and frustrated by getting the run around from him and the previous location, so when I asked what else he could do about a discount, he got an attitude, accused me of yelling when I gave up and asked "can I please just get the truck?" He would not proceed with the transaction until I literally whispered "Can I please just get the truck?" In which he asked for my license again, even though I had held it out before and he wouldn't take it. I have never experienced someone so rude and annoyed by a customer. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul as a whole, but if you must, I more strongly don't recommend you rent from this location. Give someone else more deserving your money for a truck. Also, unrelated to U-Haul, this business is overcrowded with stuff and is a pain to walk around inside.
Rachel SYour note said call on sundays - i did several times, no answer. Though I have an account I couldn't access it so had to set up a new one which took forever. Finally got in the truck 1 an 1/2?hour later and had to get someone else to start it. I guess I'm simply not strong enough?!?! The truck ran rougher than any I've ever driven and I was very happy to return it early at something just past 3. If I hadn't been pushed for time I'd surly have gone somewhere else to rent a truck
julia FWe made an online reservation way in advance for a truck for a weekend move. The afternoon of the day before we were to pick up the 20 foot truck we reserved a woman called and told me that they don't rent trucks over the weekend!? She was rude and hurtful and would not listen to the emergency famiky situation we needed the 20 ft truck for. She found a 15 ft truck we could have for the weekend . When I asked if we could have a discount because I thought the truck would not fit all our belongings, she was hurtful and dismissive saying "she didn't know what was wrong with me". It was a humiliating and disgusting experience. Uhaul should actually be ashamed of how they acted towards us.

Selena BIn general the truck was clean but could have been a little better - some old screws/debris was in back and cup holders were dirty from spilled liquid. Equipment was in good mechanical condition - all fluids at proper level, tires in good condition and properly inflated, wipers in good condition and all lights worked. Drove this 15' truck across country for 2800 mi with NO CRUISE CONTROL and mileage was terrible (9,3). You can do better U-haul. Put your 15' trucks on Sprinter chassis with diesel engine and give us cruise control and bluetooth radio. Would improve safety, efficiency, and overall driving experience. Other than that, truck performed well and I had zero problems the entire trip. Pick up and drop off were easy with good people in both locations.
Byron GI was completely satisfied with the neighborhood Uhaul service at the Heroes Sports Card store. It was right in my community and so convenient. It was easy to rent the truck that I needed. I would definitely recommend Uhaul and use their service again. Merci.

Joseph GI was disappointed in the requirement to use the Uhaul app. There was no mention of needing the app to do a pick up. Ended up having to download the app and log in even though I was logged into my account online. This delayed my pickup. Please make that clear.

Elvira GI requested a dolly be included with the truck, and was charged the fee for one, however it was not included. It would be nice to be able to notate such things at pick up when using online pick-up
Corey KRenting was super easy. Everything was exactly where it said. The only thing that as annoying was the wait for uhaul to approve you to then give you the code to access the key. I was renting from 930-1130 and didnt get the truck to leave until 10. But that has nothing to do with the location itself

Dominique DI think overall my experience was a fair experience. My issue was related to the Truck Share 24/7 feature. I think I expected it to be more seamless than it was. In the beginning I needed to submit photos of my license twice. I was unclear on the contact number process. It's like they want someone not with you to be the alternate contact which wasn't clear. I also didn't get the dollies and pads I requested on the truck. Maybe it was because the location wasn't open upon pick up. I wasn't clear on the reason why. I just hope that in the future the process for picking up and returning doesn't feel as clunky.
Cornell WThe review should be based on Uhaul. I had reserved a uhaul and I was not notified that that uhaul was not available until the day before my move. I had to get a later uhaul which forced me to move my movers back.
Sharen FI received a truck that was not properly checked in and the mileage was wrong then when I returned the truck I was charged for the extra Mileage and it’s been over five days and I haven’t seen any refunds or received any communications about the corrections.
