Provide more training to drive the large trucks! I am 71 and was terrified the whole time I was driving it!

1. "UHaul Neighborhood" sites can be great local businesses who keep UHaul equipment, but have little control over what UHaul does. 2. "Reserving" a truck really means NOTHING! I found this out the hard way. After using the UHaul app to "reserve" a truck, two weeks in advance, and then visiting the local "UHaul Neighborhood" store to confirm that I was truly doing things correctly, and then visiting again to see truck, and add blankets, IMAGINE my irritation when I get a confirmation text the day before my pickup, and they DO NOT have my truck anymore?!? UHaul wants me to drive two hours to get my reserved truck?! If you reserved a motel room, and then showed up in the lobby, only to be told that your reserved room is two hours away in another city, what would be your response?!? 3. The area manager for UHaul did fix my problem. I got my truck at my reservation store. Thanks. But, he didn't have to. Just be aware of this. 4. After all that snafu, The truck's AC didn't work! 掠 5. But, the Lord gave us a safe, successful moving day.
Jerry CornelsonGoogle gave 2 options for drop Union which was my destination and Decatur. U haul had me go to Hickory which was further than I needed. I was billed for 13,8 miles extra which really did not help my moving expenses and I thought it was wrong.

Vernon AshWe were scheduled for a drop off at 11:00 but they didn't open til one. Would have been nice to know prior to driving there at 10:30 then having to take it back after 1:00. Besides that everything was great!

clyde risherI had to drive 20 miles out of my way to pick up the 10' truck and when I passed the Uhaul that was 3 miles from my load point I saw 2 or 3 10' trucks with rent me signs in the windows. And when I got to the drop off point they charged me extra because I "went a little over" the allotted mileage.

Ron HolsonbackWe had to drive over 30 miles from our home in Meridian MS, all the way to Hickory MS to get the trailer. People there were nice but inexperienced, still learning Uhaul system. Only reason I wouldn't recommend this location is distance. Also, we ordered furniture blankets but they had none so had to go back to Meridian location to get them.
