I had to be diverted from my original pickup location to this one. Not only was it a later pickup time, but I then had to wait for a truck for an hour +, because of a mix up. Even though it was a complete debacle, the staff was very helpful, and accommodating.

They should have vehicles in top shape before they send out with customers. Picked up van drove. 5 minutes down the road and the windshield wiper on driver's side. Was not helpful at all; told me to call 1-800 number. Also told they were short staffed. Not happy with their service at all. Then on way to drop off; the other blade broke. It was a wintry mix of precipitation that day.

Make sure check engine light isn’t on, make sure the back is clean, accurate read gas after vehicle is returned. Make sure horn works. Generally my experience had so many issues it wasn’t very dangerous driving this truck.

The customer service was terrible and they didn't even give me a receipt when I turned the truck in. So I had to go thru and investigation and a big fat headache just to get my refund. If you can use another location I recommend that. I've used Uhaul many times and never had such an awful experience!

It was disgusting and I will never rent from here again. The trucked reeked of smoke, their was a lighter sitting in the dash. Everything I was stopped I smelled something burning and it said the oil needed to be changed. Who knows how long that was on for. There were beads all over the floor. There was less gas in the tank than the paper was showing and when I did sign my paper work, good thing I’ve done this a few times cause the employees didn’t read anything to you. I just wouldn’t recommend renting here.

I understand it's a truck for moving. When you say clean and i left the truck exactly as I picked it up and then you charge me 25$ for cleaning is obscene. I didn't leave any boxes etc in the truck

Dropped off before they opened. Had called the day before to notify we were doing so. They put us clocked in an hour and a half after we dropped the keys in the dropbox which put us into paying an extra day. Then, showed gas under what it registered. Had to deal with U-Haul corporate to straighten it out and finally got extra charges removed from my credit card. Corporate was absolutely wonderful to me in getting charges removed.

They are very nice and know what they are doing. 2nd time in a few months that I rented from there and it has been very easy in and out both times for check in and check out. No surprise fees or anything.

Not happy was over charged on travel trailer which I returned on time cause had to keep truck longer and was told gas had to be half a tank which was highlighted and I did and was charged gas. So called uhaul now gonna take 3 days to fix it when I was told by uhaul I was only to be charged 240.00 extra 406. Dollars was taken out my account. In happy costumer for sure and my friend is renting from you to move from Nevada to Wisconsin will have to call her to let her know might be better to go with Penske never had problems when I used them to move to Nevada from Chicago.

We did mobile check in but the owners were walking through the lot when we were there. They were very nice and approached us asking if we needed help with the check in. Lot had many U-Hauls available and our truck was ready to go right away.

The only issue I had was the change in how the rental agreement was set up versus what I ended up signing. Overall $$ spent was the same but the $19.95 per day plus mileage and insurance that I had signed up for didn't apply. The lady that helped me out in Hobart is EXCELLENT at what she does.

MAKE SURE GAS GUAGE IS AT A 1/4 WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR TRUCK, AS WELL AS WHEN YOU BRING IT BACK. THESE WORKERS WERE TOO BUSY TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER TO EXPLAIN THAT MUCH TO ME. RETURNING IT BELOW A 1/4 AS I HAD RECEIEVED IT, CHARGED ME $43, I AM NOT HAPPY AS I DID NOT KNOW I HAD TO ACTUALLY PUT IN MORE THAN WHAT I HAD USED. on top of that, the 17 foot truck I had reserved was not there for me so I had to rent a 10 foot truck turning my one trip into two. Thanks discount motors, you suck.

I wanted to file a complaint they closed and left for the day before we even got the truck off the lot it was dirty and the doors mostly there was standing water inside the truck on both sides I wanted to ask for partial money refund but didn't know how to go about doing it I think they should do a refund to me in regards to this matter

This location wasn't our problem it was scheduling didn't reserve our reservation therefore we had to wait until the next morning for a truck then had to go 25in out of our way to get it . our experience sucked next time I ll try budget.

Reservation was available on the date requested. Was not notified until afternoon of the day. Was told we could get truck the following day at 10 am. Truck was not available until after 130 pm. Was not notified and had to make several calls for an update while waiting outside of the business for 3.5 hours. Horrible customer service!

We received an automated email telling us the location to pick up the trailer. When we arrived, the trailer was not there. Suggestion: don't send out an email unless you can guarantee the equipment is available. The pickup place was a garage and not a UHaul facility so it was up to us to call UHaul and try and schedule another trailer. Of course, we were put on hold for 10 minutes. The whole experience was very aggravating. The initial pickup place was Crown Point and Hobart is where we actually made the pickup. Staff at both locations were good but the actual locations were not very appealing.

I reserved a 5X8 unit for a one-way rental online and ended up getting a 4x8 at the location because they said the 5x8 was for local use only. Disappointed in the online reservation system.

I had a brand new 17 U Haul. The problem is with the design of the mother cab on the outside, there was snow on top of the U Haul and it was warm day, so all day when I got in & out of the truck, I got wet because as the snow melted, it drips right were you get in.
