Make sure that your customer is satisfied I expressed a need for a dolly only to be told they had all been stolen and then I received not help for you guys to find one I was told to call Customer service on my own to gI a wild goose hunt to find one and because of your inconsiderate I had to wait an extra day to put my stuff in storage very unprofessional

Lady was catty and lied about what I paid for. I returned keys at 4:54 pm and was charged for "failing to return equipment". Tried to remedy in person to no avail. Will not be returning. I Wish I'd chosen a different location.

The young lady who took care of me was quick, knowledgeable and courteous. The truck was clean, ran well, and had more than enough room. I was very pleased with the service I received.

I arrived w/ a reservation for a truck, 26', which wasn't there upon arrival. I waited 45 minutes before I was asked if I could use the 20' truck, as I didn't have a ride to the next closest location, 25 no miles away (inconvenient now and for return). Having lost 30 % of the space, I wasn't given a discount on the cost, but simply the mileage. Furthermore, no T&C's were discussed (nor signature obtained) stating mileage was to be at 1/4 tank of gas. I was given a truck with 60 miles to E, as my roundtrips utilized 44 miles. Again, had I the truck reserved, mileage AND fuel consumption would have been less. I was then charged for fuel, which I never signed for. I was also informed I didn't need to fill w/gas, as that was covered by the mileage charge. This is the WORST experience of a location (I've rented 10 trucks in my lifetime) and will never visit this location again. They are too focused on collecting payments, and repo-ing cars, then this avenue stream. Thoroughly disappointed in the experience, location, and excess fees which were never covered.

On the internet it said that the office closed yesterday at 5:00pm. We got there at 4:30pm and it was closed even though the sign said it was open. So I did the return online.

Unprofessional. Did not have our equipment where requested. Told at last minute had to drive half hour away to get truck and auto transport. Got to the facility and it was unprofessional as well. The I guess manager ignored us and continued to speak to employees that constantly came in and out and answering phone while we were standing there waiting to be helped. This had already put us behind on moving. Then we're good the auto transport was not there and that we had to drive another half hour away into IL. They also didn't have the key to the truck. Then she had to get assistance on how to change info so I could rent it. It caused way more stress and put us way behind on moving. Then said she changed it to where we could drop off the equipment at our discretion which turned into more chaos and work and calling uhaul because they were going to charge a lot of additional costs when I was told it would not. I have had to call and wait on hold and request callbacks too many times to clear up problems. This was an awful experience on top of stress of moving across country. Disappointed to say the least.

The place was a hole in the wall. Had to go in the alley to pick up the trailer. No one to help me. Had the wrong size ball on my hitch. My fault. I asked did the have a hitch to rent. Her response, " No, you can buy one down the street at a auto parts store They only cost $12." $36 later, I hitch up and leave. The trailer had all kinds of lug nuts inside. I took it back and just drop it off back in the alley. Some random guy Un hooked it for me, and I left. I rented for 8hrs and took it back after 4. I will not rent anything from this location again. Wanted to get out of there before dark. Just shady.

There was a mistake on my receipt. I was billed for a fuel charge and I should not have been. I received the truck with 1/8 of a tank of gas. I was told to and did return the truck with 1/8 of tank of gas. I took photos of the dashboard upon receiving and returning the truck. I need my receipt and refund to reflect the corrected billing amount.

The location was fine. It was the overall experience with uhaul that was awful. You all changed my pickup location one day before. Much worse, uhaul tried to change my drop off location from my reserved while I had the truck to over an hour from the one I picked. Then the phone representative was very curt. And tried to convince me I had to drive further. Next time I will use a different company. I'm done with uhaul unless you are the only choice. Second bad move

Equipment need to be checked before giving to the customer. My card was over charged by $113 because wrong mileage was entered for my rental. The odometer was also tricky. It constantly blinked. Glad I decided to take video when I picked up and dropped off vehicle otherwise I would not have been refunded. My son was overcharged at the same location which is why I took video in the first place. So glad I did.

Reserving for U-Haul was unsatisfactory... Book in one location then they sent me to another location... Then tried to send to another location that was in the state in to me. I was forced to get a smaller truck that did not fit all my stuff. Over all my experience was very discomforting. The Hobart location were very good people to me.

Nothing, maybe explain how the rental goes, it was my first time and I wasn't aware. The staff were really nice. The truck wasn't new but was acceptable. I would recommend this facility and use them again in the future.

The customer service representatives need to be more professional. Also, I ordered supplies to make my move run smoothly only to get to the location and my supplies were not available. I was overcharged for gas called to complain was told I would have someone reach out to me to no avail. Just a bad experience ever.

The equipment we ordered was not available. They sent us to another location to collect and they did not have the equipment either. Very poor service. The location of the Hobart office is terrible. I felt unsafe there and it was only 11am!

Regional office needed to do a better job of scheduling trailers available at the location you rent from. I paid an extra $19 because the regional office did not have trailer in the right location. Called with less than 24 hrs to change pick up is not acceptable. Hobart was not the issue, it was the regional scheduling.

This location was great. I was originally supposed to pick up in Gary at Second a Chance on Melton Rd, the authorized representative refused to give me the key after I checked out truck on my phone he would not listen to you uhaul red who tried to tell him to give me the key. He called the police and said he wanted me off the property for failure to give him my drivers license. The police said I could be arrested for trespassing g and although they heard uhaul rep say give me the key and they could clearly read message on phone screen I was had to leave without truck. It took 3hrs by phone to correct this with an agent who sent me to this location. It cost me more gas mileage due to travel distance. I would like a district manager to contact me for further compensation and Uhaul rep should not have vehicles if he's going to make his own rules and threaten to have people arrested for renting equip that on his property. His reply when I refused to give him my ID a second time was, "this is some bullshit get out of my store, I refuse to go business with you." He would not contact Uhaul and I had to resort to using my cell phone. Please follow up with me at 219/292-1622

The lady at Hobart Discount Motors (I wasn't able to catch her name) was one of the nicest, most friendly, and pleasant people I have ever dealt with. We were moving my aunt out of state, and it was so good to deal with someone kind in an unfamiliar place so far from our home. We will most likely never be back in Indiana, but I would recomend Hobart Discount Motors to anyone that needs a U-haul rental.

I had to be diverted from my original pickup location to this one. Not only was it a later pickup time, but I then had to wait for a truck for an hour +, because of a mix up. Even though it was a complete debacle, the staff was very helpful, and accommodating.

They should have vehicles in top shape before they send out with customers. Picked up van drove. 5 minutes down the road and the windshield wiper on driver's side. Was not helpful at all; told me to call 1-800 number. Also told they were short staffed. Not happy with their service at all. Then on way to drop off; the other blade broke. It was a wintry mix of precipitation that day.
