It has been the worse experience I have ever had renting a truck or a car. I already reported the problems and a person named Jennifer Vanderbert said that she was going to send a referral to the Area Manager but it has been two weeks since then, and no one has contacted me yet. Below my signature, I will copy the conversations I had with this person. She was kind trying to help, but as I understood she couldn't do more, so that way she looped in someone else. In your videos, you said that these trucks come with it even if you didn't requested it in the reservation, but if you break the plastic seal, you pay extra 7 dollars. On the outside I could notice some scratches and dents.. Please see the attached pictures in which you can verify what I am saying. At this point, and as I said previously, I am very upset about the whole situation, but I am also very concerned about the condition of the truck in terms of maintenance. If U-Haul doesn't check the truck inside to rent it clean I seriously doubt they check things like breaks, oil, battery, tires, etc. I am now worried about safety. This is a big issue. Finally, I would like to ask you the favor of revising internally if I can get some kind of compensation for all the problems I have had so far . Didn't deal with any individuals, as I did mobile return. The app and the return process was super simple. Really liked it!!!
JAMES SI was over charged ! I brought the U-Haul @1 when I was suppose to . I drop off U-Haul with a lady . A guy calls me and says I can't return it there when the lady said I could. He calls my wife and tells her that he's gonna charge me 500$. I call him he tells me that I was t suppose to drop it off there . When his employee told me I could. After a few minutes of talking the man says your ok it's only a could of blocks away and says everything is fine then I'm charged 168$ for a 39$ 15 ft truck that I had 15$ insurance on . I drove the truck to Menards then 204 Dropseed and back . I'm extremely upset and most definitely won't be using U-Haul again . I use you guys all the time . This was the worst experience this far.
Dan GI was even slightly late and they didn't make it a problem. Pick up was quick and easy with my dolly that I ordered ready for me. Truck was clean instructions were clear, 100 % recommend renting from here.

Gregory PAfter returning the truck, it again was never checked in. Then later, I was told the gas was not replaced (which it was). Now I'm being billed over $300 additional fees.

Kristin FI didn't realize this location was self check out. This experience was new to me and eliminated a wait time. Dropped off the equipment and checked out on my phone within less than 10 minutes. Technology at its best!
Leon SNo suggestion, it was quick and easy to reserve and pick up.
Roger CTruck was to be picked up at 10AM. No one arrived until 10:10 for keys. Why have self checkout if I still have to get the keys from inside. Worse program ever. This was not the location I wanted to pick up, however I understood my location did not have the size I needed. However, I choose my original location because I knew they had key boxes and could get the truck easily. I've learned what location are easiest to get through. Urbana Location is the worse when self checking. You still have to get in line and wait for your keys. Lastly the truck was parked in the grass (I can't believe this at all in Illinois during wet season) and got stuck in the mud. We ended up having to go to another location and pick up another truck. This put us behind over an hour.

Lan PBetter customer service. blankets/pads were requested. they were dropped on the dirty floor and kicked over to where I was standing. No offer to pick them up off the floor and carry to the truck. Seemed annoyed that I asked for a quick review of how to use the equipment [door, ramp, how to lock, etc]

CHRIS GI had to walk to another location to purchase a light adapter because the U-Haul location did not have one. I was not able to leave with the cargo trailer until that was done, it was already hooked up and he would not supply an adapter because he did not have any.

Christopher uThe pick up of the equipment went fine and the truck ran smoothly. I put gas back into the truck and returned it. The gas gauge was slightly below the 1/4 line but still touching 1/4 of a tank which I felt was within reason. I got charged out the ass by U-Haul for refueling even though I had already put a ton of money to refuel it in the first place. The man looking over the truck was incredibly rude and barely spoke English so trying to make my case was impossible with him.

Lynn LI did not return the trailer to this location. I actually was finally able to pick up the trailer at this store. The staff there was very efficient. I returned the trailer to the Golden Road location in Golden, CO. This location was also fine.
