Make sure equipment is not faulty. I was displeased. I paid 138 for a trailer that was bad and faulty and that was very unsafe. It was not properly inspected. Wheel baearing was bad, trailer swayed all over the place. About lost car 3 times straps were stretched. And my vacation was delayed a day for faulty wiring which lights did not work. Be sure in the future to NOT upload a photo of drivers license! I spent over an hour in parking lot and 3 ppl later, before they could give me the number for the box, because they said they could see I had a reservation but you have to wait til day of rental to upload your license. (They said this was the problem.) You cannot do it ahead of time.Tammi S.

They charged me money on top of my order even though my drop off time was 9 pm and I had it to the location by 7pm. I also couldn't drop a contract off with my keys because I had not received one from bright laundry and grocery but home again consignment charged me anywayCloey N.

Truck floorboards on driver side had mud from shoes. The truck leaked water from the driver's door and the truck sounded like it was going to blow up. I really don't think I should have any extra charges started I had 54 miles left Charleston went straight to my house and filled the truck up and straight to U-Haul I don't see how we went over on miles. I don't usually have a problem with U-Haul but this experience wasn't the bestJohn H.

This was literally the worst moving experience I've ever had! I made my reservation for a 9' cargo van. Went there to pick it up, no one was on site to give me the combination for the keys so I had to run home, call customer service, then went back to the site. When I got back to the site 2 gentlemen had my keys to the van and I had the keys to their teuck in my lock box, thought all was well after that, nope! Went to return the van, it said i was entering in a lower amount of miles then what I started with.. somehiw got charged for 2 vehicles. which niether even matched the vehicle number of the vehicle I even rented! Thrn they tried to say i drove almost 300 miles whej the town I moved to is only 8 miles away. Then they changed it to almost 200 miles.. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with and I will NEVER use uhaul again nor will I ever recommend!!Valerie F.

This location is ran by an older guy who is a little slower and a younger person When getting the app open and everything done but very friendly and respectful. We actually picked up here after ace didn't have our reserved rental available. And the location is nice and open and clean for pick up and drop off. We normally rent trailers and car dollies every few months or so. This will always be our preferred location for our uhaul needs and our recommendation for others. This store is in a small community area so quality service like his is what will keep business and loyal customers around here better than flashy and quick service.Jeff C.

I dropped off after hours, the parking lot was dark, the only light came from the gate area and it was very faint. I worried for my safety as I was going through the return checklist... There could have been anyone hiding in the shadows and I would have not seen them there.Amy Y.

The truck's rear lighting was not grounded. It caused me to be pulled over and I had to wait 8 hours before a mechanic could come out for repairs. I don't think this is Home Again's fault, but Uhaul's.John C.

Had a good experience overall. My only issue was that I was given a 26' truck when I'd ordered a 20'. I understand equipment availability issues, but it was more difficult to maneuver a larger vehicle in addition to having more difficulty securing my things. Employees at store were very friendly and helpful and the rental process went smoothly.Karen A.

The order I placed had no mention of being relocated from 1 mile from my house to 55 miles away. Had to drive 110 miles total just to get the truck. Didn't find that out until 1 day before i had to move. Used 1/4 tank of gas just to get the truck back home, and received the truck with 3/4 gas total. I returned the truck with a full tank and got no compensation what so ever. Everything that i approved and uploaded had no record when i arrived at the pick up location. All of my scans that i did on UHauls website did not appear for them at all. The pre check was pointless. Then 4 hours later i get a call from uhaul saying i missed my pick up time and if i still wanted the rental (as i was driving to another state) so apparently nobody knew what i had reserved. Overall it just made for a very thrown together experience that I paid 1 600 $for and made a very far move very stressful.Louis B.
I didn't ask for a Dolly or used any furniture pads but got charged anyway. The truck was a piece of crap. Driver's door only opened from inside, passenger seat belt didn't work! You need to take dollies out of truck. Didn't know pads or dollies were in there until got to Mattoon! Didn't use either. Sucks that I get charged when I didn't ask for or use either! Won't use U haul again.Robin H.
