I've rented several uhauls from this and other locations. The equipment is seldom clean. Usually a lot of sand build up on the exterior of trailers around wheel/fender area and some sand/dirt on the floor inside. Not sure what the acceptable definition of clean is but it's my understanding that cleaning and maintenance is not the responsibility of the rental location but the U-Haul rep. Also on this last rental tire air pressure was extremely low. I aired them up to proper pressure prior to loading trailer. Also this trailer had a slightly bent coupler when I picked it up. I pointed this out to them prior to hooking up trailer and they made notation of it. It trailered fine but I had to retighten coupler nut a couple times due to it loosening up. The nut lock mechanism may have been damaged when coupler was bent on previous rental. Overall the trailer worked fine and I was able to complete the task I needed it for.

MICHELLE BU-Haul computer system would not allow for rental of Dolly and gave several errors for decline even though towing vehicle met all requirements and vehicle being towed met all the requirements. I have to make reservation on online via my phone while in the store. Online reservation system did not have any issues and reservation was approved. Store was then able to see reservation and I was able to use the dolly. U-Haul needs to do a better job with their internal reservation system.

Emily GIll probably try to never rent from U haul again. I was in a pinch and the fact that because of my situation I had to pay for 2 days of rental but could only have the trailer for 28 hours. I knew that when I rented it, normally Id have found some other solution if I had the time. Now Had I only been charged for the hours I had it, i.e pro rated...I wouldn't mind renting from U haul.

Jerry EMake sure that when someone returns the equipment the day it's due not to charge for 2 days. Keep close eyes on how much the customer is charged. I was charged for 2 days and currently awaiting a refund for the 2nd day.

Kent MEnsure your rental is available at the location you reserved it. I reserved mine in St. Cloud and had to drive 30 miles to pick it up where it was actually available. Nothing against the Zimmerman location. They were great but disappointed that reservation at St. Cloud was not available, and I wasn't notified until 2 days before pick up that this was the case.

RANDY PMaybe. They were very helpful when I picked up the truck, but they put the wrong time on it which gave us 23 hours rather than 24. When I called for help, they said they had no record of me and the time stated is the time. They did say if the return location was closed at drop off the time wouldn't matter. They said once they released the truck to me, it was the responsibility of the return location. Very poor customer service.

Now we are pleased to have U-Haul service to help move our family members. Originally, we reserved online to pick up in St. Michael but were contacted and told that the vehicle had mechanical difficulties, so we needed to pick up in Zimmerman. For us, this was an easy swap. We were upgraded to a larger rig and ALL of our belongings fit in one trip. This actually was easier in the long run. Pick up and return was super friendly and very easy. Thank you Hudson Hardware!

jim bThe gas mileage stunk. I received a 10 ft truck and only got 8,73 miles to the gallon. I thought these trucks were good on gas. I went 200 miles and put in over $70 worth of has. Plus the 0,79 a mile that you charge. That was the only complaint. I will use your trucks again, hope get better mileage.
Tim II wish we would have been told that a furniture dolly was included with the truck. We rented an appliance dolly that we didn't use, but still charged for.
gina jThe problem wasn't the people at the location. I had my reservation cancelled twice in a row and was redirected to pickup my trailer in Zimmerman. The person in the phone, however, did NOT inform me that I had to return the trailer to that same location. I drove for a total of 4 hours just to get and return the trailer. Not happy.
